“My husband and I sat at the bar and did the prix fixe menu and everything was outstanding. I got the chicory appetizer, the steak dinner, and the chocolate budino and I LOVED EVERY BITE. Definitely go here. Lovely ambience, fantastic food.”
“My Coffee is spot on every time made to perfection! The Staff is Amazing, the conversation is always great here, food and coffee 5stars for sure, I absolutely love the community support they go above and beyond for Hoosick Falls!”
“Friendly staff and fantastic shop. Best apple cider donuts. Had to go back for seconds, to bring somehome to Arkansas. Clean well stocked and quality product. Great ”
“Really love the entire vibe of this place. The food is great. Don’t underestimate the Mac and cheese ordered a large to share and still couldn’t finish it! It was delicious and so filling! I do think they need more air circulation when bands are playing inside though.”
“This place is perfect for friends, family, or date night! Our dinner was absolutely delicious, and the jalapeño margaritas were also out of this world. Another perk was that it’s family owned and operated. If you’re looking for some authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place. Thank you for ”
“Dropped in for a quick bite to eat, ordered a grilled sourdough cheese & tomato sandwich. Cold tomato, lacked a quantity of cheese. However the grilled Rueden had plenty of filling & throughly enjoyable.”
“The food was delicious. I was very pleased that they had vegetarian options. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was fine but very noisy, but that might simply be because there were people in the restaurant (because it's so good!), so not much can be done about that!”
“We came for dinner on a Friday night and were seated right at the time of our res. The food is delicious and creative- Elote Gnocci, yes please! The margs are perfect and the service was fast and friendly. Very fun atmosphere. Don’t forget the churros!”
“Great pizza and atmosphere. The owner, Yucell, is also very friendly. My only complaint is that our baklava was not prepared correctly. The outside was warm and had a nice crispy texture, but the middle was cold.”
“I had the Dark and Stormy. Howard had the Bees Knees. Both were some of the best we’ve ever had. They have four different seasonal gins infused with locally harvested plants.”
“I have to drive over 80 miles each way to eat in the restaurant but it’s well worth it. I am English and travel to England usually about once a year to visit my family and of course I eat Haddock and chips a couple of times when I’m there and I must say that none of the chip shops there compare to Lil Britain because when you buy food in a British shop it has been sitting around for quite a while on display in a heated cabinet but in Lil Britain I always wait for the food to be cooked and I know it’s fresh out of the fryer. Everything my wife and I buy there is delicious and the staff are so very friendly.I have no doubt that we will be back there ASAP, when you are running a business here in the USA and you hear it mentioned and recommend on a British radio station by Mark Goodier you know it has to be good.Keep up the good work folks.”
“Very cool place. Friendly , fast service, and the food is delicious. It's a local hometown bar. Great prices, and they have a pool table if you should watch to take on the challenge. Casual atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious. We will be back again.”
“This is the place you want to find when you are in the countryside and want to taste the local flavors. Delicious food, fresh ingredients, great experience. Totally recommended…”
“Very popular place. Large selection of fried foods and more. Mostly fried foods. Staff was very nice and helpful. Service was fast. On a pleasant day, it was great to sit out in the open at picnic tables, but there is a covered area with picnic tables for shade or rain protection. Ample seating available. More expensive than we expected.Parking: Ample spots in frontWheelchair accessibility: All on one level. Seating on the lawn so the grass must be traversed.”
“A must stop if you're in the area. Delicious coffee, cider donuts, and the lumberjack might be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Bring handwipes as it's a little messy and you will be eating in the car!Dietary restrictions: They have dairy alternatives for lactose intolerance and vegetarians.”
“The wife and I come here all the time and it is our favorite place for date night dinner. Staff is all super friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is great and food is delicious. My go to is the Short Rib Brasato with Mashed Potatoes and Veggie. If you want dessert, you HAVE to get the creme bruele. By far the best I have ever had. Also everything reasonably priced. They also have gluten free options which is fantastic for anyone who needs/prefers that.”
“My wife and I took a long weekend in the Berkshires. We drove by this place and had to stop. Unfortunately for us we got there at the end of a busy day for her and there wasn't much left. But she told us she'd make us something for the next day. We ordered an awesome Cheesecake. The price was incredible too. This place is a gem.”
“A hidden gem! Authentic and delicious! Can't wait to visit again. They were extremely accommodating with a large party (with kids) with multiple food allergies.”
“Greeting was very good, our server was exceptional, the best. Food was always excellent. I had stir fry with tofu. Super. My wife had the lamp and she really loved it. All in all a great Valentine's Day dinner.”
“Bistro 42 continues to exceed our expectations with its exquisite dishes and cosy ambiance. Dominique's menu of French specialities delights and surprises us with each visit, consistently prepared in the time-honored tradition of French culinary artistry using high-quality ingredients. The cosy decor and soft lighting creates an intimate atmosphere, transporting diners to a French villa. Every detail, from the carefully arranged tables to the attentive service, contributes to a delightful dining experience. Bistro 42 is a must-visit for those craving an authentic taste of France in a warm and inviting setting.”
“This is my favorite place to get coffee every time I’m in North Adams. Everyone who I’ve run into working here makes great drinks and provides great service. One of the baristas even usually has their own music playing which I love. I go iced oat milk latte with maple or hot dirty chai and they’re great.”
“Enjoyed a salted maple latte and breakfast sandwich today... Excellent! Prospect has also hosted some fun events, such as this Paint & Sip last summer, a clothing/gift swap, and a mixer for our chamber of commerce. The owners are deeply committed to creating community in our little village. I love the everything about this place.”
“Went here for some drinks. The drinks on tap were great. The brewery has plenty of seating and is in an open big building so you don’t feel clustered and can actually hear yourself think when there’s other people around. I would recommend this place to others.”
“Honestly maybe it was the time of the day or season or what, I had the best quesadilla I ever had here! In fact, I have only been here once 3 years ago and I don’t even remember which exactly I had. I didn’t even like quesadillas until I had one here. I still remember how good their food was and try to make quesadillas the same way ever since. I recommendddd ??”
“Excellent coffee and the yogurt they sell— Gammel Garden— is very good, sold in Vermont so I never had it before. Limited menu and, at least when we were there (a Wednesday morning right before the museum opened) there was just one staff member working and a long line.”
“Why I keep going back to Bounti-Fare• Home style cooking served in a relaxed and casual environment. Portions are substantial and the salad bar is well stocked and always fresh. Peel and eat shrimp are back!• Owner, chef, musician, entertainer, and all-around good guy Dave Nicholas is always there to make sure your experience is a pleasant one• Unlike most other restaurants, menu prices have pretty much stayed the same for the past few years• Support staff is well-trained, competent, and friendly and many have been there for years• Great cocktails and especially noteworthy are the blood orange margaritas and filthy naughty martinis!• A tremendous venue for live entertainment - open mic nights, special musical guests, comedy shows, local bands, etc. - there is always something fun happening at Bounti-Fare• Special events like the Mother’s Day Brunch or Thanksgiving Dinner are not to be missed – all you can eat buffets at reasonable prices• Catering menu is my go-to if I’m having a party or family get together”
“Door dashed Philly's twice now and the food was fantastic, especially the Philly Jawns, which is now one of my son's favorite foods. I tried the Broad Street Bully and it was so good. Bennington needed something new and different and Philly's was just the thing. I look forward to visiting the restaurant in person.”
“Came here for breakfast for the first time and was extremely pleased. I had an egg sandwich and home fries. I asked for the home fries to be crispy and they were absolutely perfect! I’m so happy with the food and the service here that this will definitely be our go to place for local breakfast from now on.”
“Overall, it's quite good. The food is very good and authentic. We were there for dinner on a Saturday early evening and had to wait nearly an hour after being to 40 minutes, which was not terrible as we had some drinks and killed time chatting while huddled in a corner. When we were seated, the server was pleasant and mostly attentive, but they were well understaffed, and it showed in the time it took for the apps to be brought to the table, drinks to be refilled, meals to be served, and check to be settled.”
“Only place in Pownal that sells the type of Arizona iced tea I like.Convenient distance from home always would rather go there then the one brand name store we have in Pownal .There's always pleasant.”
