“A very solid place for good traditional Korean soups. I had the spicy beef soup and was very happy. The place is not trendy and looked to attract a very local crowd. Prices were inline with other Korean restaurants. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other soup selections.“

“Little gem! I can't wait to order again. I ordered teriyaki and gyozas which were very good, even the salad that comes with the meal was great!!! It was all well presented. It's apparent they take pride in their work. The fried chicken looks amazing. I look forward to trying one of their other dishes.
The only less favorable comment I have is only because I'm not a fan of ginger. You could taste the ginger come through in the teriyaki sauce and salad dressing, but not enough to not return. Wonderful restaurant.
UPDATE - I finally tried other dishes, General Tso and Sweet & Sour (at different times). It was so disappointing considering the teriyaki and korean fried chicken is so on point. However, these two dishes, Im not sure chicken was involved. If it was they were scraps of the chicken thighs not used for the teriyaki. I honestly believe these entrees were just all deep fried batter, no chicken. It was so hard to chew and I tasted no chicken. I won't be trying anything else. I paid $20 to eat rice. Hey- you can't be good at everything.“

“Comforting bone broth and generously filled dumplings. From my experience, Korean speciality restaurants only serve banchan that directly compliments the speciality...and their kimchi never disappoints. I love ordering from here whenever I feel under the weather or I'm homesick.“

“Perfectly okay Korean restaurant. Amongst all the dishes I ordered what stands out most is Grilled mackerels. They serve 3 pieces instead of usual two and looks like there were pan fried which is hard to replicate at home. They serve tons of banchans but in my opinion it is a waste and they should just focus on a few good banchans.“

“Don't let the strip mall location fool you. The gluten free food is delicious, not greasy, and they serve big portions. I loved the gluten free chicken katsu! Tons of meat, lightly breaded, no soggy or greasy texture, not overly salty. The katsu sauce was also great. I wish I found this place sooner. I can't wait to come back to try more gluten free Chinese dishes. 😋“

“Fantastic experience from start to finish! The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. What really stood out was the service—the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
The best part was that they cooked the BBQ for us, which made the experience much more enjoyable and stress-free. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served at just the right pace. You can tell the team takes pride in both the quality of the food and the customer experience.“

“The service here was excellent and the staff were very attentive. As for the food, it’s clearly high quality, but it has a very distinct style. Unlike the 'Westernized' Korean dishes or the specific style of soup I’m accustomed to, this felt much more like authentic home-style cooking. The fact that the restaurant is consistently packed with Korean patrons suggests they are doing something very right. While the flavor profile wasn't quite what I personally prefer, I can certainly appreciate the authenticity and the effort put into the meal. Worth a visit if you are looking for a genuine, homelike dining experience.“
“I finally visited after hearing so many good things, and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious, and it’s easy to understand why this place is so popular among the Korean community. The eggplant side dish was exceptional, and the kimbap and spicy squid salad were equally tasty. Great quality food at very reasonable prices. The owner was also warm and helpful, making the whole experience even better.

“We tried this place after reading the good reviews and am so happy we did. My partner got the K-BBQ Bulgogi burrito and I got the chicken katsu burger, both were good but the burrito was great. We will definitely be back for that. Big portion sizes.“

“It was my first time trying grilled intestines like this, and I was honestly a little worried it might have a strong smell, but they cleaned and prepared it really well. When the edges get slightly crispy and charred, it smells amazing, while the inside still stays soft and chewy. It tastes really good with grilled garlic.
The mushrooms were also really good after soaking up all the meat juices from the grill. The yukhoe was easier to eat than I expected too — once mixed with the egg yolk, the texture became really smooth and rich without feeling too heavy.
The atmosphere of the restaurant also felt really cozy, kind of like those small Korean restaurants in K-dramas. The lighting was nice and it wasn’t too loud, so it was a good place to slowly eat and chat with friends at night.“

“Solid Korean food with bottomless banchan, which is always nice. The kalbi is excellently seasoned. The stone pot bi bim bap has really crispy rice but is a little lacking in flavor. Thankfully the house sriracha has plenty to make up for it!
Some old reviews mention that they are cash-only. This is no longer the case!“

“If you have not tried this gem, you need to. Not only is it well priced but it is super filling and a great experience. The employees are super nice and helpful and there are so many things to try. I got the half cheese half hotdog covered in potatoes. It was a full meal on a stick!!! I will be going back!“

“I don’t usually review places, but this is some of the best food I’ve had in the greater Seattle area. I got the Huli Huli wrap with grilled chicken, and it was incredibly tender and marinated beautifully. Also tried a bite of my friend’s crispy chicken wrap and loved that as well. Staff was super friendly and offered to fill up our bike bottles. Can’t wait to come back!“

“I visited this food court specifically for its unique bowl shape. However, it exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the noodles were delicious. There were also large chunks of meat and seafood. I’ll definitely be back!“

“The service was great and the food was delicious! Their ordering system is cool; it's a pad where you just scroll through the menu and select what you want. You can use the pad to even call for for someone to come to the table, or you can ask for things as simple as napkins or a spoon.“

“The Seoul Hot Tenders are great, though they are more like Nashville chicken, similar to Dave's Hot Chicken. The burgers are great too, juicy and well sauced/seasoned. However, they are not always consistent; sometimes you would either get dry or skimpy ones.
One thing I really want to mention is that they really are penny-pinching with the amount of sauce they give, so I always need to get an extra. I wish they were more generous, as the sauce is essential with the tenders. Plus, they also occasionally forget the sauces for takeout or delivery, so be aware. They will give you a refund for the sauces if you paid for the extras, but I still would not like this to happen.“

“Ommmmmmmggggg first time here and the place is amazing 👏🏾. Love the vibe, yanki to the core. But I was hurt 😞 to see the cheese katsu gone, I definitely would return just to see it back on the menu. 10/10“

“The best value in Shoreline — lots of banchan, fried chicken and dumplings on the tteokbokki on the buffet. The most unique item they have for the $35 dinner ayce is this marinated squid which comes out slightly sweet but smoky on the grill.
No pictures because I was too busy enjoying myself and the food!“

“Amazing! In this economy you couldn't ask for a better restaurant! The food is DELICIOUS and the prices are incredible. The portion sizes are very generous so bring a friend and your appetite. I've been coming here for over 10+ years and I still enjoy the food like it's the first time. My favorites are seafood jajangmyeon, chicken wings and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork). I LOVE that the sweet and sour pork (or chicken) doesn't have red dye in it. The seafood jajangmyeon is packed full of flavor. Definitely give this restaurant a try next time you want don't want to takeout or a sit-down meal.“
“AMAZING! This is some of the best Korean food I have had and maybe some of the best I’ve ever had. I got the Japchae-bap and literally texted all my friends with pictures. It’s so delicious. Don’t pay attention to the negative comments, they are just wrong.“

“Wow, what can I say? This adorable mom-and-pop restaurant tucked inside G Mart is truly a hidden gem. I’ve walked through G Mart countless times and somehow completely missed it until Google Maps pointed me in the right direction.
We arrived close to closing time, not realizing they were located inside G Mart and needed to wrap things up as the store was closing. They were understandably in a rush, but that didn’t stop the kind lady serving us from providing excellent service with a warm smile and some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time.
I wouldn’t recommend coming right before closing unless you’re prepared to eat quickly. Luckily, I came hungry and had no problem finishing my meal! I really need to start taking pictures of my food because everything was so amazing.
Great service, great food, and an adorable hidden gem that’s absolutely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This was my very first time trying Korean food, and I had a wonderful experience. I came here with a my Korean friends, and he helped me choose what to order. After looking through the menu, I decided to try dish #41. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect because I had never had Korean food before, but I was excited to try something new.
When my meal arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The dish looked amazing, and the flavor was even better than I expected. It came with complimentary rice, which was a great addition and paired perfectly with the meal. The food was served hot, fresh, and had a delicious spicy flavor without being overwhelming. Every bite was full of taste, and I really enjoyed it.
The service was also excellent. The owner, who was also helping serve customers, was very kind and welcoming. She checked on us to make sure everything was good and that we were enjoying our meal. The rest of the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great service throughout our visit.
Overall, I had a fantastic first experience with Korean cuisine. The delicious food, warm hospitality, and welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable visit. I will definitely be coming back soon to try more dishes from the menu, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Korean food for the first time or even if you’re already a fan.“

“Sam Oh Jung is one of our favorite restaurants to visit with family. The atmosphere is so warm, welcoming, and family friendly, which makes every meal there feel comfortable and enjoyable. The food is always memorable, especially the kimchi pancake, which is absolutely delicious with the perfect balance of crispiness and flavor. We also love the summer noodles dish — so refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for a lighter meal. The sole dish was another standout, cooked beautifully and full of amazing taste. Everything we’ve tried has been excellent, and the overall experience keeps us coming back. Highly recommend Sam Oh Jung to anyone looking for delicious food and a welcoming place to enjoy it with loved ones.“

“Great simple Korean food. It's fast. It's affordable, and you'll have leftovers. The bathrooms smell and the place isn't the best looking, but so what? You aren't eating in the bathroom, and you don't eat decor. You eat food, and that's what matters. We will be back.“

“Their food is delicious and I missed it when I moved to Japan. So the first thing I did when I moved back was get my usual. The lady at the register was helpful and understood what I needed (as far as pointing out the dish I described).
Everything was fine until I went home and noticed a dish missing. I immediately drove back and the same lady that took the order suddenly didn’t know what I was talking about and gave me a “HUH?” I know they’re Korean and they come off a bit strong but she didn’t even apologize afterwards. One of the cook (maybe the owner) came over and explained the situation and said she’ll cook me a new one because apparently, original cashier lady swapped my order with someone else’s. She just brushed me off and the other lady was respectful so I gave it 3 stars. Otherwise I would’ve rated it 5.“

“No joke it's one of the best valued AYCE KBBQ around the area. We usually go to the Shoreline location, but the Lynnwood location felt even better in comparison, as there's much more appetizer and banchan options, and it's by order using a tablet instead of buffet style. We got the $32 and honestly the food selection was already more than enough.
Here are a few plus:
- Meat is just right, not too fat and not too lean.
- Thin sliced meat are frozen when brought over
- More banchan selections and tast better than shoreline store
- Naengmyeon being available as an alternative to rice is a huge plus
- Fried gyoza and chicken wings are piping hot when served.
- service is fantastic“

“This place is a hidden gem! Got the pork trotters & pork belly combo to share between three and were really impressed by the quality of the meat! It was not oily at all and was perfectly supple and tender. The waitress was very nice and would offer to refill our appetizers without us asking.“
