“What a great, local establishment. You can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches (the ham salad and the Irish breakfast sandwiches are my favorite). So many flavors of ice cream...all homemade. Locally made chocolates and an amazing assortment of European treats. The owners are so sweet and kind and their staff is always friendly and serves with a smile. Highly recommend (and take a half gallon of ice cream home with you)!“

“my husband and i went here for a valentine's day dessert and we were so impressed! the flavors were fresh and delicious, and the service was fast (in part bc it was 40 degrees outside, I imagine it slows down in the summer). we both tried the london fog base, he did blackberry + lemon curd and i did blueberry + graham cracker. his was the superior pairing tbh, the lemon curd was SO good.

we are both big soft serve fans, and are so excited this place is in the neighborhood. yes, it's expensive, but it's also a novelty and they're making each one custom for you so...that's certainly an additional level of service vs. traditional ice cream. i look forward to trying different combos on future visits.“

“I saw this on social media and the family wanted to try. The line was quite long like the other very popular stores at Pikes Market Place. It moves relatively quickly.

I was surprised, I thought it was going to be all presentation and lack luster on flavor. Indeed it exceeded my expectations. The food was extra creamy and dense. You can taste all the flavors. Our favorites were the Ube Coconut, Dutch Chocolate, Lemon Curd, and London Fog. This does not discredit the other flavors they are also very good. Note Blue Moon is a cotton candy flavor not a beer flavor 😂.“

“I love Frankie and Jo's. I've been a huge fan for probably at least a decade now.
Really you cannot get better vegan and gluten-free ice cream anywhere.
When I moved away from Western Washington, seven years ago, I will admit that multiple times I have had their pints shipped to my house, especially with their limited edition seasonal flavors.

So when I'm in town, this is absolutely one of my must stops. This last weekend was no exception. I visited their Ballard shop, and I got their miso moon in a waffle cone.

“Best ice cream (gelato). Better than Italian in Italy. Thank you for Bringing back mango habanero sorbet. WOW! Your new chocolate milkshakes are making us very, very happy! Best pistachio, hazelnut… You name it their’s is the best. These nut gelatos are not made out of flavored surgery syrups. They are made out of puréed nuts. No ice cream in Seattle can compare.“

“Molly Moon’s is truly a Seattle classic, and it never disappoints. I’ve honestly never had a bad flavor here. Every scoop tastes thoughtful, creamy, and well-balanced. I love that they offer both rotating seasonal flavors and “always” flavors that are available year-round, so there’s always something new to try while still being able to return to favorites.

My absolute favorites are honey lavender, iced latte, and strawberry. If only the Earl Grey flavor were available year-round, I’d probably be visiting every single day.

They also sell pints, which is dangerous in the best way. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

“Long time fan of Salt and Straw, first time visitor to this location. The manager or shift lead was fantastic and clearly enjoyed here job. Love to see that.

If you haven't had Salt and Straw ice cream you 100% should try it. I love their classics (gooey brownie or cookie dough). I don't ever need to change my order; however, they are always experimenting and adding new flavors to the menu. January is vegan month. They added 4 plant based, dairy free options.“

“My wife and I decided to visit this place after grabbing a bite nearby a few minutes away. We drove past it a few weeks ago during our first trip to West Seattle, and we were excited to come back on our next visit. The ice cream was delicious, and they had good options for my wife, who is on a gluten-free diet. Overall, it was a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary this past Sunday.“

“Come here often on my way to the tram station from work. Good atmosphere around that time. Lots of options, I like to ask for a recommendation and have yet to be disappointed. Card only!!!!! Come prepared. Shout out to the guy who told me about the tournament nights (not sure if they’re still happening) when we were talking about yugioh. Looking forward to that if it ever happens again!

A general note -
For other people who like to go alone to places: there is wall facing seats tucked in the far side of the building, that’s where I like to sit to avoid the families with kids. I watch YouTube or play a game when I’m there.
For families: that same area is a quieter part of the building great for overstimulated little ones or breastfeeding if needed.

“Full Tilt is a fun and unique ice cream spot in the Columbia City area that is perfect for families or a casual hangout with friends. They offer a wide variety of delicious flavors, and the place is filled with arcade games that kids (and adults!) will love. There's also a shaded patio out front with plenty of seating for warmer days.

The owner was super friendly and helpful when I asked for a flavor recommendation, which made the experience even better. If you're in the area, this place is a must-stop for a sweet treat and a bit of nostalgic fun!“

“I tried the chocolate truffle here and absolutely loved it. The truffle was incredibly soft, rich, and full of flavor, every bite just melted in my mouth. It paired perfectly with the waffle cone, which was fresh, crispy, and had that perfect crunch that made the whole experience even better.

On top of that, this place is amazing for catching the sunset on the waterfront. The view is beautiful and makes the whole visit feel even more special. Definitely a great spot for both dessert and relaxing evening vibes!“

“Great ice cream for the best price around. This is a completely volunteer-based ice cream shop where the ice cream is sold at cost and the student workers work for tips and good times. The atmosphere is cool, with games to play in the lounge area and usually a movie or music videos playing on a projector on the wall. They have scoops, cones, milk shakes, and fresh baked cookies (and cookie-ice cream sandwiches). A great place for a casual date, a study break, or to meet new friends.“

“There were 3 hard packed ice cream options on this trip, including ube and a banana walnut marshmallow (!) The vegan flavors do use a coconut base, so if you aren’t a fan of coconut milk-based ice creams, this might not be your jam. I thought it went great with the ube tho!“

“I don’t get the bad reviews.... This place is amazing. From the ice cream to the food. Of course it’s a bit pricey. It’s a small privately owned business. It’s not a chain. The owners are incredibly nice people. I’ve been going here for more than 20 years and I can’t say enough good things. It’s not their fault parking is limited. It’s Madison Park... They have continued to offer the best ice cream, food, and service even during unprecedented times. I bring my kids here, and have been going since I was a kid. Not many places left where you can share childhood memories with your children.“

“2 years ago due to health I became a pescatarian and look for quality vegetarian, vegan options. Of the many things I miss at the top of the list was a good pepperoni pizza. I have tried all vegetarian, vegan versions. Last night my son and daughter-in-law brought me to MOTO. I ordered the vegan pepperoni pizza. The first bite made me literally want to cry. This was the best pepperoni pizza of ANY kind I have eaten in my considerably long life! Thank you Lee, Nancy, and the entire MOTO crew! I cannot possibly provide a high enough recommendation, this is the alpha and omega of pizza!“
