“We’re visiting from Texas and stopped here for a quick lunch on our way to Seattle. I got the spicy tuna spring roll and my partner got the eel poke bowl. The food was delicious and fresh, and service was speedy and hospitable. We’ll definitely return if we’re ever in the area again! ❤️“

“Had this awhile back and had to have it again when I was back in town. Had the Katsu Curry this time which gave what I expected. The server (Yeong I believe) was super friendly and hospitable beyond what I expected! Perhaps he just liked us or we were a big group but he served us some complementary sides that were delicious. The fried gyoza was bomb. The whole place was decorated for Halloween. I hope to return to this place sooner than later.“

“DELICIOUS sashimi. I really hope the owners find this comment. I'm leaving this review because my conscience won't allow me not to. Basically, I shared a very pleasant $90+ meal with a couple friends. However, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not well-practiced/educated in tipping because I've so rarely eaten out in all my life. I SEVERELY under-tipped them for this meal, and I just feel awful because it was AMAZING service on top of really decent sushi and better sashimi.“

“Great little sushi spot and more. The atmosphere is amazing and the restaurant is very high quality. This is one of my favorite spots for sushi and katsu in Ballard. The katsu chicken is amazing and everything else is too. Would definitely recommend!“

“Delicious American-sized rolls for American palates. Seems like they’re short on staff so don’t expect stellar service. The whole operation appears to be geared toward takeout so consider picking up instead of dining in. Don’t bother coming here if you’re looking for more traditional sushi that’s closer to Japan quality and flavor. Also don’t come on a Friday if you want to dine in as the dining room is closed.“

“This place was fantastic! The restaurant was extremely clean, and the servers were wonderful. They went above and beyond to be helpful courteous and attentive. On top of all that the food was absolutely spectacular. I had to curry, and it was wonderful.“

“I've eaten at this place numerous times - friendly and thoughtful staff, relatively fast service, and good food. A little pricey for what you get but certainly worth stopping by if you're in Magnolia.
The "okay" rating from the health inspector is a little sketchy, not gonna lie, but I've never gotten sick here.
The place has small town sushi shop vibes, and is great if you're in the area. Maybe not worth traveling a great distance for but still quite good.“

“New favorite sushi place in Seattle! The food was very high quality. The rolls come in sets of 3-4 rolls. we ordered 5 sets of rolls plus apps and every single plate was delish! It was also fun to be able to try so many different dishes, definitely coming back! It was also surprising cheap for sushi“

“Came here the other day with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the volcano, dynamite, and unagi rolls and they were all pretty tasty. I’m always hesitant trying new sushi places because often times the rice is too hard or sweet, fish not fresh, and sauce-to-roll balance off, but Azuma made some pretty good cooked-fish sushi rolls. I’m pleased to have a neighborhood spot.“

“It is time for to review Mashiko after 15 years of enjoying great sushi and after one pandemic I am happy to say that my most recent experience dining at Mashiko was one for the history books. The Uni was amazingly fresh with that umami that it is hard to find anywhere else. The freshness and the flavors were to die for. I wish them the best and many more years of great sushi.“

“Food was great and appropriately priced. Service was off but it appeared to be a coordination issue. Though we had reservation for two we were seated at a table for four so the server waited thinking we were waiting for others. Twice we were asked if others were coming. A food server brought food before original server brought drinks. Manager apparently not on floor solving problems.“

“Everyone has loved every sushi roll we've ordered. Pretty presentations and wonderful flavors. Pho is served in huge bowls with additions on the side. Their Boba tea is hit, too. I'm curious to try their chicken wings since everything else is so tasty! We will be back. The hostess heard me mention it was my niece's birthday and surprised us with strawberry mochi and a little gift. It was a kind gesture that really made her day all the more special ❤️“

“The portions were great and the food was delicious. I was surprised by how much I liked the scallops. The toppings were generous too. I'd recommend it. Food prices have gone up everywhere, but it still seems like a pretty good deal here.“
