“I can say last night in one word - magical! Magical interior, magical staff and service, magical food and cocktails, magical desserts! Thank you so much for the quality service! I've been to many restaurants in the world, but there are only a few such great restaurants!!!! By the way luxury steak is incredible!!!“

“I visited the restaurant on an early Sunday evening. The service was prompt, and I ordered the ribeye steak and salmon steak, both of which were cooked to perfection and delicious. However, it seems like the restroom needs better maintenance.“

“Seriously, it's one of the best restaurants we've been to in Bellevue. Between the service, presentation, atmosphere, etc. and all the staff was amazing and personable. We even had someone from the front desk run down to the garage to make sure we got parking validated or to swipe us out. They have a good tipping/commissions sharing plan so I guess all the workers are well compensated and happy. All the food was amazing too. (We had the specials of halibut and sword fish). Also the drink we ordered was actually done so well.I just want to say, compared to other venues in the Bellevue area who charge similar prices, this one you get what you pay for. Great for special occasions I'd say. Plus they have deals for discounts on special events (birthdays & anniversaries you get I believe its $75 off if i remembered correctly). Also unlike other area steak houses that do charge similar prices - won't name the area Brazilian Steakhouse but I'm sure you'll recognize the name if you look it up in the city - they dont over crowd you. They actually have large tables with space between them so you're never squeezing past anyone.Expect to be billed $100+ a head minimum - we ordered two mains, a sharable, and a single cocktail (worth it). Although the main dishes were plenty. Also the garlic bread to start was so good! We hadn't even left yet and were figuring out when we can come back.Parking: They will reimburse your parking in the garage below or have a valet at the front door.“

“Me and my business partners have come here many times and we obviously spend a lot of money here and always tip well on top of gratuity. One of our meals was totally messed up twice in the same night. The waiter tried to make up an excuse for the mistake. The corrected stake was said to be out in 8 minutes but took 18. Our friend ended up not even wanting the stake at that point and told them to not even bring it out. We normally don’t really mind mistakes, but at this level of dinning you want to get what you’re paying for. They only comped the 1 meal before we asked to make it right for us. They then took off gratuity which was $120 on a $800 bill and we still tipped after. Just a bad night. Should have comped more but we wanted to leave at that point.“

“This is definitely a high-end steak house. The service was exceptiona,l and the food was terrific. It's location makes it difficult to find parking but it was worth the trouble. We spent $684.00 on the six of us, so bring a lot of cash or a good healthy credit card.“

“Fantastic food and classy atmosphere but what makes the met stand out against other steakhouses is the service. Our server made sure we had a fantastic evening and paid attention to every detail from our orders to making sure we got to our event after dinner on time.“

“Usually this place is awesome and my favorite place to eat. But Sunday I ordered 2 steaks worth of takeout and ended up with a Burt steak so well done it had no taste and couldn’t be chewed. I called the Resturant and left a message to ask for a refund or gift card on that steak. As soon as I got it to my house. No call back.Update: Today I came in again on 4/10 and the manager made it right and was very kind and accommodating.“

“A treasure of disappearing Seattle. It's the restaurant the parents on The Wonder Years would've gone to for a birthday dinner. They'd have left the kids at home and gone to the bar side, and if your party is of age I'd do the same, then if you don't drink. Only like a year left to go there before the building closes! Great steak, delicious salad, decent cocktails and terrible frozen vegetables served by lovely people.“

“We're from Texas so places like Jimmy Mac's feel like home for us. Not many places let you throw peanut shells on the floor. Just laid back family friendly atmosphere. I was craving a steak and potato. I definitely got what I wanted. My husband wasn't too happy with his piece of steak. But our waiter took care of us.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly“

“I have sensory issues and they accommodated my needs, which is a huge deal. We got put in an area that was a little more private and I appreciate them taking the time to do that. Food was excellent and well thought out, steaks were cooked to perfection, and wine choices were superb. We went for my mothers birthday and they gave her a small candle and a hand written card. Staff wished her happy birthday and were nothing but kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. There were so many thoughtful touches to our meal it made the night truly special. This is hands down the best restaurants in Seattle.“

“I was invited out to lunch by a friend and he recommended we go to Matt's Oyster Lounge. It's located in the Redond Plaza. My friend and I walk in and are immediately greeted by the hostess and waiter(s). After being seated, my friend is friends with a chef there. We ordered the Salmon chowder which was delicious. Calamari, with roasted red peppers, absolutely delicious and King Salmon fish sandwich, which wasn't flavorful, though edible.“

“The food is good but not great. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is stuffy rich person, which is what they are going g for so it works.I think it kind of falls into that bracket at a cheaper price point the place is amazing. At its current price point it is okay.“

“The food was amazing to say the least and aside from that, what I really thought was great was how attentive all the staff was. I noticed how they were paying attention to every table as they passed by without stopping or interrupting conversations they payed close attention to what may or may not be needed. The food was also served quickly, much faster than I would have expected. All of it was perfect and delicious. Expensive but worth every penny.Kid-friendliness: I think it's a fine place for kids. I had all of my children and we did just fine. They do not cater to children but they have a great kids menu.“

“This is one of the DB’s that happens to be on the water, unlike the Bellevue location. It doesn’t necessarily have an unobstructed view of lake, Washington, as it is sitting in a marina, but if you get the right table, you can enjoy some of that atmosphere. The sun doesn’t shine on this side of the lake at happy hour/sunset, but it is still a lovely location in a lesser known neighborhood. The food and drinks are the typical very pricey steakhouse level that you will find.“

“First of all, make sure to reserve seats near the window if you want the view of the Marina.Appetizers: We had steak strips, jumbo prawns, and barbecued prawns. Everything was good but I'd like to highlight barbecued prawns because that sauce was fantastic.Mains: I got the scallop risotto (see photo). It was very flavorful, the scallops were good (slightly briny, not fishy, good texture), and the mushrooms had good texture. They have many selections of steak including Japanese A5 wagyu if that's what you want. They have a good selection of cocktails and wines too but I didn't partake this time around.Do note that there's an automatic 20% gratuity on the bill. Just FYI so you don't get surprised.“

“our server Nikki was incredible, she was so kind and make sure we had everything we needed the bussers were also very fast and cleared dishes away quite quickly, we were on a time crunch and they got food out to us super fast. the only thing we disliked was the 20% gratuity charge for the whole meal-it does not go to the staff which we were unhappy about, it goes to the restaurant and our server was unsure and could not tell us where it went exactly. great restaurant but that charge will prevent us from coming back“

“4.5John Howie Steak | Bellevue @johnhowiesteakJohn Howie Steak in Bellevue provides a luxurious dining experience marked by attentive service and delectable flavors. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and guided through an evening of culinary delights. To kick off our meal, we enjoyed a variety of warm bread from the bread basket, setting the stage for what was to come. Our server surprised us with a refreshing soup as a palate cleanser, a thoughtful touch that enhanced our dining experience. For appetizers, the French onion soup was a standout, perfectly balancing sweetness and saltiness. The tableside Ahi Tartare was equally impressive, boasting refreshing flavors and a delightful crunch from the pine nuts.Moving on to the mains, the salmon plate showcased expert cooking techniques, delivering a perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh dish. Despite initial reservations about the Filet Mignon’s appearance, its medium-rare preparation revealed a tender and flavorful interior, complemented by heavenly mashed potatoes.Though tempted by dessert, our satisfied appetites led us to reluctantly pass.Overall, we had a great time and would recommend the fine dining experience to anyone who enjoys steak“
