“I am a vegan and I appreciate how many choices Araya’s place has. The food tastes so good. Everything I have ordered here is amazing. I do not feel like I need to stick to a couple of my favorites here. It’s safe to try different dishes every time because everything I have tried is excellent. The staff are sweet. It’s relaxed. They have outdoor seating in front to enjoy in the summer time.“

“I love hot pot and I really love Haidilao! Very attentive service and many options for all your needs whether it’s soup base options, spiciness, veggies, proteins and more. I’m very satisfied and will definitely come back. I’ve never ate hotpot alone always with larger groups but I was in the area and have been craving so I decided to stop by, I will say you definitely get a better “bang for your buck” when you dine in groups! I spent about $110 by myself before too, I ate a solid amount over about 1.5 hours and took some home! You could definitely get that price down ordering one of their lunch combos for 1 person but I wanted two soup bases because I was splurging. Not to mention all there amenities!! A nice fabric apron, I was even offered a phone stand so I didn’t have to use my cup to prop it up, complimentary ice cream, and also disposable toothbrush/paste and mouthwash in the bathroom. Like seriously how sweet and can it get any better? Having said all that I knew what I was getting into price wise, don’t expect a necessarily cheap lunch but it’s worth it to treat yourself every now and then and I am another happy customer of many!

I did also pay about $9 for parking! Not sure if there’s free parking I missed“

“Our first dinner in Seattle was at Joey Bellevue, and it was outstanding. We started with the mini French dips, which came with a port red wine au jus reduction easily among the best I’ve ever had. For dinner, I had the steak and ravioli blanco, paired with their signature crispy mashed potatoes. The steak was tender and flavorful, the ravioli was rich and buttery, the shrimp was perfectly fresh, and the crispy mashed potatoes were truly memorable. Our server, Lanesha, went above and beyond to make the night special. She surprised us with a crème brûlée cheesecake with strawberries as a welcome-to-vacation treat, such a thoughtful touch! The food, service, and atmosphere all combined to create a wonderful first-night-in-Seattle experience. Highly recommend Joey Bellevue for both locals and visitors.“

Supposed to receive the text message when ready, though did not get the message this time. BBQ pork crepe was amazing. Crawfish was okay. Will add vegetables as extra next time. “Lovely little donut shop with a great variety to choose from. The couple running the store are super sweet and kind. They made us feel welcomed coming in and they gave my daughter her first donut (a glazed donut hole) which she absolutely devoured.

“Mercato is one of the best pizza spots in the Bellevue/Seattle area. The pizza is incredibly soft and light, and it doesn’t feel heavy at all — likely due to the high-hydration dough, which makes it easier to digest.

We tried the margherita and mushroom pizzas, and both were really enjoyable. Overall, it made for a great date-night experience. The restaurant itself is very small, probably around 10 tables, which gives it a cozy and intimate vibe.

I had the Golden Curry & Tofu—Japanese-style curry over rice with potatoes, carrots, tofu, and pickled vegetables. Warm, flavorful, and exactly what I was in the mood for. My friends ordered the Sausage & Pepper Rotini and left just as happy. The only curveball? No mocktails listed on the menu. When I asked, our server looked a little unsure but offered to make a virgin Momotaro with ginger, peach, mint, lemon, and ginger beer. It was fantastic—definitely worth ordering again. Still, a mocktail section on the menu wouldn’t hurt. After lunch I wandered through the shop and ended up picking out a couple of games for our next game night. Couldn’t resist. All in all, a great lunch, great space, and a solid reminder to check out places that mix things up. Overall fun spot. So happy we found this place. Would happily return. “If I could give Kobe more than 5 stars, I would. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The White Dragon Roll was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Hot Pot Bibimbop arrived sizzling with perfectly balanced spices. The Teriyaki Chicken with Yakisoba was pure comfort food, and the Chicken and Dumplings were rich and satisfying.

For dessert we shared the chocolate ice cream, which turned out to be Oreo cookie ice cream—a great surprise and an even better value.

The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and it is clear the staff works as a team. The ambience is calming and makes it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

This will definitely be our regular spot for date nights and whenever we are craving something amazing.“
