This town is up the line of the Washington Bay; I assume it was made by a glacier melting as it was pushed in. In the Spring now there is more melting water current in the unfrozen air. This shop is a really nice place to get food and drinks that provide and charge. It's also got really classy honey drinks that could help pilots and sailors. The name is initiative in weather.“

“LakeLine is awesome! Great atmosphere, super cozy and lots of great food and drink items on the menu. Everything we tried was delicious and the dill pickle dip, while creamier than we thought it was going to be, was a fun and super tasty dip. Also love that it's the neighborhood cafe for Silver Beach residents! Faves on the menu: Matcha latte, dill pickle dip, burrata & chimichurri sandwich, tuna melt (on both GF and regular bread) & chopped salad! Will definitely be back!“

“Went here with my husband, got their goat cheese salad and him a sandwich and drink. Coffee was good, food was hearty but the real standout was the service. It was a cold day and I was out by the fire pit, when one of the proprietors offered to grab me some gloves and clothing because I looked cold. Can't speak on the bike repair side, but when I was ordering there was sounded like a animated (in a good way) and in depth conversation in that part of the store and it seems like they'll have your bike covered for whatever it needs.“

“Bar Cicotti is an exquisite comfortable place with a beautiful patio both on the front and in the back in the amazing Light Catcher arboretum. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming, the food and drink is fabulous.“

“Shirlee from Shirlee bird is a delight! She makes all her pastries from scratch. The breakfast burrito with bacon is awesome, especially for the price point! Coffee smells wonderful and she knows her way around an espresso machine. Her store front is very quaint, petite, and open. There is no indoor seating but there is a few spots outdoor and I believe there is also space inside the building for you to sit and enjoy your beverage/food. Dog friendly.“

I find it so cozy to get a coffee or tea and have a spot to sit and knit or crochet in the couch area. They have vegan food options which I didn’t get a chance to try, but it’s nice to have something available to eat for the future ☺️ I will be back!“

“My partner and I were in the area for a car meet up and asked a local where we could get a good breakfast sandwich to go and they recommended Avenue Bread. They were so right! We each had the Country Eggnue on Rosemary and it was delicious! He had an Americano and I had a London Fog, both drinks were great.

“Oh! My! Goodness! Their holiday menu is just pure perfection. The ladies here are always the nicest people, always putting a smile on my face. I wasn't a big coffee drinker until more recently, so I don't get all the coffee lingo, but these girls always get what I'm trying to say. Such an odd, little location but it works. Wish they were open later into the day just so I could drive out and grab a coffee after school.“

You genuinely can't go wrong with anything off their menu, and I love that I still feel great after eating there. “Cool staff and convenient location, I stop by here every time I’m in the library. Their coffee is not too bad, just don’t expect an excellent cappuccino.

Although, don’t order anything too complicated… I usually request some adjustment to my food orders and they get it wrong probably 90% of the time. Bagels and cream cheese they got this! But sandwich with turkey, bacon, and avocado? They might forget the turkey, or avocado, or both… gets worse near the end of the quarter

“I know this is a shameless plug, but I just finished eating a beef meat pie from Holly's, and I have to write this: I just found Holly's Meat Pies and had my first pie from them. I can't say enough about how delicious my pasty was!!!! Thank YOU! 🙏🏻 The crust is absolute perfection – not too dry, not oily. Perfectly cooked. The pie stayed hot even though I drove home. Wow! I got the beef, and the filling was perfect. The balance of the spices, herbs, the quality of the meat, the vegetables and the onion was superior and absolutely perfectly balanced. This lady has skills!! The taste is wonderful. Holly gave me samples of Ty's Barbecue Sauce and Pasty Sauce !!! Yummmmm! I tested the barbecue sauce because I couldn't resist – I'll be back for at least one bottle and it won't last long. And the pasty sauce was fantastic. I'm buying a bottle. I had never heard of putting any kind of sauce on my pasty, but I'll put this on it! The thing about the pasty is it's so good without the sauce, but it's great with the sauce, too. I alternated bites lol. 😆 Since the pasty is neither dry nor greasy, it stands on its own so perfectly that I couldn't imagine putting the sauce on it – until I tried! It kicks the flavor up a notch. I bought a frozen Chicken pie for later, and I "liberated" several menus - this is going to become a habit!!!! Can't wait to try the Vegan pie (🥧 mushrooms!!), and the lamb pie and the entire menu! Feels like I found a culinary goldmine that's right up my alley. I feel so lucky that this is in Bellingham, and that I don't live too far from it because I will be a frequent visitor. And they are so friendly- great, wholesome, quick, affordable food!! What's not to love?! 💕 I also want to say hello to Holly and to Andrea who I met today and who were so friendly & knowledgeable. Smart women getting it done!! ✅ They answered every question I had. If you haven't tried this place, you've got to go and try it. This is the ultimate easy portable health food! Great with soup 🥣, salad 🥗 and Bordeaux!! My belly is happy 😊! What a therapeutic experience!!“

“I was passing by on a trip needing caffeine for the drive and this is probably the best coffee shop I’ve been to in years, from Alberta to BC and all the way down to Portland. This one stands out the most.

I ordered an Avalanche, it’s like this specific drink was made for me, I love it.

I wish I lived nearby so I could come here more, but I guess I will be adding a 30min detour every time I drive down to Seattle so I can stop by here and enjoy.
