“This is one of those places that from the moment I walked in the door and was greeted with the smell of chai I knew it was gonna be a good stop ! This cafe feels like a warm hug from a friend you haven’t seen in while and they’ve manage to capture a retro , thrifty , homey vibe without overdoing it ! I ordered a latte and the toasted hazelnut, chèvre, honey & thyme toast and sat myself down at a table with a cute framed picture of a frog that said “ take more chances , dance more dances “ and I loved that !! Food and coffee was good , I was able to charge my phone and enjoy this special little spot before continuing my cruise !“

“First time here, came up from everett to visit family, stopped by on the way back down.
Fantasticly friendly service from Hailee (i hope i spelled that right, im so sorry) made some wonderful suggestions for their mimosa flights for the rest of my party, and the shockingly smooth Mustache drink for myself.

Ontop of that I asked if they had any birthday things for my girlfriend, and the whole crew in back got together and Collaborated, got some delicious and perfectly made chocolate muffins, vanilla ice-cream, whipped cream, and strawberries and even put on some candles and lit them.

This place is so wonderful, the food and drinks were delicious and perfection, and the service somehow amazingly broke past that.

And ontop of that, the cost for it was super economically friendly, no outrageous prices, my wallet did not leave crying.

And the aesthetic is so cute and cozy, small little sectional alcove complimenting the structural pillars, rather than an ugly support: genius.

And the lights provide this honey sweet warmth that really make it feel like home. Especially when the washington weather switched to its normal grey and cloudy, this place felt like a beacon in the drizzle.

If I could rate this place more stars, I would. 20/10.

My gf and I have now made this place a mandatory tradition to stop by on the way out of bellingham, just because of how wonderful it's been. Thank you, everyone is staff. I hope you have a wonderful day!!!!“

“2 plays in 2 nights by Bellingham Theatre Works. Both about Language. And how it can bring people together or separate them. How some people understand the feelings behind words and others do not. The players are very good and it is amazing how the scenery in an in the round theater can be so important. In last night's play the very young actors were excellent.“

“The owners and staff of Hammerhead coffee make this place worth the visit, no matter how long the line is. They are thoughtful, engaged and seem to know everyone in town. We have made this one of our regular haunts. Also, check out their sister coffee roast brand Steed Coffee.“

“I’m kind of an iced tea aficionado, and Woods has THE BEST black iced tea I’ve ever had. Apparently they get it at the Spice Hut-another local business. I haven’t found ‘the one’ yet, but Woods’ making it must add that little magic something. The employees are nothing less than delightful. Always speedy service especially if one avoids the drivethrough. I’ve gotten behind a 4-fru fru drink cars once to many to do anything but go inside. Totally fine. Highly recommend it. I don’t particularly care for their lattés, but I’m hardly a coffee expert.“

“I drive this place a lot but today the timing was right and I decided to stop in. When I got there I told the lady that I hadn’t been here before, but I’m exhausted and want something as close to a coffee milkshake with caramel as I could get. She nailed it, that was one of the best fraps I have had in a very long time. I will definitely be back“

“Shirlee from Shirlee bird is a delight! She makes all her pastries from scratch. The breakfast burrito with bacon is awesome, especially for the price point! Coffee smells wonderful and she knows her way around an espresso machine. Her store front is very quaint, petite, and open. There is no indoor seating but there is a few spots outdoor and I believe there is also space inside the building for you to sit and enjoy your beverage/food. Dog friendly.“

“Hubby and I dropped in for gas and he debated whether he wanted coffee or not, and I saw this place from the gas station across the street. I'm not sure if it's because of the Seattle Freeze or not but the Caritas working the counter were noticeably friendlier than we typically encounter. I will say, the Starbucks is more prominently placed on the road, and it was his first inclination if I hadn't caught sight from where I was, but it doesn't disappoint.“

“This is a clean, comfortable coffee shop right in downtown Bellingham conveniently located at the corner of Railroad and Chestnut. They offer all the typical coffees as well as pastries and sandwiches. The food is already prepared and reheated
(good but not great)
and the coffee was prepared exactly as ordered. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and provided fast service. There is paid street parking and it could be hard to find during peak times or during the Saturday Farmers Market just down the street. I highly recommend Woods Coffee if you are downtown and want consistently good coffee. Outdoor seating is available.“

“I was passing by on a trip needing caffeine for the drive and this is probably the best coffee shop I’ve been to in years, from Alberta to BC and all the way down to Portland. This one stands out the most.

I ordered an Avalanche, it’s like this specific drink was made for me, I love it.

I wish I lived nearby so I could come here more, but I guess I will be adding a 30min detour every time I drive down to Seattle so I can stop by here and enjoy.

Staff was friendly and inviting and they were focused and hard working.

“Our whole family loves Flying Bird Botanicals Tea! We have an entire cupboard full of probably just about every flavor available. Our kids count on Tummy Coat, Cold Comfort, and Throat Soothe when they're not feeling well. My wife starts every day with Irish Breakfast first thing, then Lavender Orange Grey. “Great drive thru espresso and other items. Cruising Coffee is the oldest in Whatcom county. I just wished they were open later, like they used to be🔥. They used to be open 24 hours, and I really miss that😢 their prices, are a bit steep compared to Donna's Espresso in Marysville for sure, 😄“
