“I’ve been to many sushi spots, spanning from Seattle to Los Angeles to New York to Japan. Hands down, without needing to take a trip to Tokyo, this is the best sushi spot. If pizza is about the dough, sushi is about the rice and this place hits different. You won’t be disappointed.“

“One of my favorite teriyaki places to order from. They have been consistently great for many many years now. For as long as i can easily recall anyway.
The service is always great, the food is never anything but excellent. And prices are very reasonable.
If your in the MV area, or just driving through 4 corners stop and get lunch or dinner here. You'll be glad you did.“

“I tried Okasan Teriyaki with a friend. I had the Spicy Teriyaki, and it was pleasantly spicy without being too hot.
The salad was good, and the dressing was a little different from other Teriyaki spots I've been to, but good. The portion size was decent, and the rice was excellent.
My friend had Chicken Teriyaki, and he said it was excellent. If I was in the area and wanted Teriyaki, I would consider coming back.“

“My husband and I popped in here on a whim while commuting back to Fall City from running errands in Tacoma. We were shocked to find probably our favorite Teriyaki spot in the region.
It was clear the owner was manning the cash register, juggling take out calls and dine in customers single-handedly with fabulous efficiency. His cooks were no less fabulous. No order took longer than 10 minutes.
It was clear there were regulars too because the owner knew them by name as they stopped in.
While we’ve eaten Teriyaki from multiple places around Seattle, my husband mentioned that this salad dressing was more flavorful (we found out later that they make it in house with fresh herbs).
Anyway, we will be back, despite the drive. It’s lovely having an accidental great experience.“

“My birthday weekend was absolutely amazing because of trappers sushi. Our chef Kodie really treated us to excellent sushi, our host Tianna was kind and courteous. Even our server, couldn’t have given a better experience. Ten out of ten. Would recommend.“

“Quite literally the best stuff ever, Joe is a straight up G, the cooks are also just straight up Gs best yaki around come eat it now. I wish I could give 6 stars, Joe not only served me great food but also gave me a ride home when my car broke down. This place is heaven on earth“

“My mom and I started coming here about two years ago and ever since it’s been a favorite spot of ours to get sushi! Now it’s a place my husband and I come all the time. The chicken katsu is so good it’s his favorite and the cream cheese wontons are TO DIE FOR❤️ this place is a great option if you want good sushi but don’t want to pay and arm and a leg at trappers!

“Food was pretty good. Solid burger and plenty of fries. Service was fine: friendly enough and all business. I'd probably make a bigger effort to eat there, but this place is desperately in need of a deep clean and spruce-up. The entire dining area is grimey and dingy.“

“The food is fantastic, I've never had a bad meal at this place.
Service is usually pretty good, but sometimes it's a little wayward. They get a lot of to-go orders. The last time we dined in there was four of us and we all got our meals at completely different times. Pretty taboo for this service industry, but it's the only time it's ever happened also.
The place is pretty nice, the atmosphere is okay. It doesn't really provide anything unique to itself it's kind of just a place with tables and chairs and booths.“

“We love Trapper's a bit pricey but well worth it. Only complaint I have is we ordered the teryiaki chicken tonight with some Sushi rolls. The teryiaki chicken was very bland had not taste to it. 🤔😒“

“This place has improved a ton in the last few years. We were pleasantly surprised at everything we got for our family Sunday dinner. Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Katsu, Sweet and Sour, and the Gyoza were all amazing! We will definitely be back soon.“

“My family has loved the takeout from Oshio 2 for years, both the teriyaki and the burgers! The other night I was dog-sitting in the area and ordered the Western Burger with fries (I highly recommend the fries here, they are delightfully crispy.) As this town continues growing up and corporate franchises move in, consider supporting a Black Diamond OG local favorite 🍱🍔🥤“
