“This place is amazing! The food rating on the door is excellent, and it truly is! The sexy edamame and killer salmon rolls are my favorite. The ingredients are fresh and so flavorful. Our server was so sweet and friendly! She helped my son learn to use his chopsticks and delivered great service. The restaurant is spacious, and has a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Salad and baked tofu are delicious ?“

“Have tried Okasan before so this review is overdue. They have pretty good chicken katsu and spicy teriyaki. Those are our go tos. Teriyaki is spicy, but the katsu is decently crispy. Service continues to be quick and prepare the food in the time they provide. They are also generous with the amount theyre giving. Overall, we will continue to visit.“

“Great food and good size portions. They've always been willing to accommodate special requests for us. We've been going here for nearly 20 years, the owners are super nice and always ask how our kids are doing now. Love the macaroni salad...somewhat addicting. Great teriyaki in Maple Valley.“

“The village inn is a perfect place to eat if your family can't agree on what they want to eat. They have traditional American diner food and a large variety of asian food too! I meet the new owner Anna when we came to try this place out. She is the sweetest human ever! Her customer service is top notch. The interior takes you back in time! It is preserved so perfectly. They had clean high chairs for my little one to sit in, Anna brought it over to our table for us. The food in DELICIOUS! I got the seasonal pin-a colada milkshake with the Philly cheesesteak. They do not skimp on the meat. My husband got a burger and fries, with an Oreo shake. It was also incredible! Anna also has this amazing program where you can buy someone's food for them. They place the items people have bought by the cash register and if you can't afford to eat you have a variety of things to choose from. I love a local business that gives back in this way.“

“Love this place, their teriyaki and lemon chicken combo is delicious, as is their almond chicken. And the portions are huge, I get 2 meals out of one entree. Service is always quick and friendly, I’ve never had to wait more than 20 minutes for food. We’ve eaten here at least 10 times and will keep coming back.“

“We have eaten here a few times. They are often very busy, so we usually order ahead for takeout. So far, we have enjoyed nearly everything we've eaten. The chicken is quite tasty, sometimes a bit overcooked, but not often. Some of the more Chinese foods have been really good. The fried rice could use a few more spices, it's a bit bland, but we have some sauces that bring it up to our standard for taste. Lots of variety,so we seldom order the same thing, so we can sample different dishes. Good place. We have been at off hours and the ambiance is pretty friendly.“

“A great local place for awesome teriyaki, great takeout, and great 'just the thing to hit the spot'. Isn't the most beautiful restaurant ever, but does exactly what it needs to. Serve great food at good prices with friendly staff. Food options for just about anyone's taste too.I enjoy my usual of the sweet and sour chicken, with a light ginger salad and rice. The sauce tastes homemade, with hints of pineapple and just enough ginger, not like the overly sweet sauce at standard places. Picture included. All in all, a swell place for lunch or dinner.“

“A hot spot in the area with its nice decor and welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions, don't be shy to ask them for their favorites. While the menu focuses more on cooked seafood instead of raw fish, the rolls are tasty and offer something for everyone. Good for those who prefer their seafood cooked but still want a sushi experience. Worth a visit if you're in the area.“

“I loved the spicy teriyaki because it was the perfect amount of heat and the chicken breast with spicy sauce added was good too and it was chili sauce poured over the chicken. The fried rice and brown rice were good but I think I figured out I like my teriyaki with white sticky rice. I plan on eating here more in the future.“

“Pretty standard teriyaki place in Western Washington. Good offerings especially the katsu IMO. The owners seem a bit distant, but the younger son is really nice. The highlight of the food experience here is actually their house cheeseburger which IMO is really really good.“
