“Had an amazing dinner date with my wife last Saturday! We decided to try this spot and were seriously impressed. The vibe was welcoming, and our server, Wesley, made the experience even better. He was patient, knowledgeable, and super helpful with the menu. My wife got the Quesabirria Torta—slow-cooked beef in a rich adobo sauce, layered with jack cheese, mayo, cilantro, and onion on a roll that was just right. It came with birria consommé for dipping, sweet potato fries, and a Peachie Peach cocktail. She loved every bite. I went with the Smoked Pastrami Reuben, and wow—everything was on point. The in-house smoked pastrami was moist and flavorful, the sauerkraut and Swiss were balanced, and the toasted rye bread gave it the perfect texture. It came with sweet potato fries and a creamy horseradish sauce that really brought it all together. We left full and happy. Not sure if I’ll go for that amazing Reuben again or try the torta myself next time. Either way, we’re definitely coming back. Thanks for the awesome service, Wesley!“

“New favorite! We were warmly greeted upon entry, told we could sit wherever we like and there’s a water station. It was very clean and very well lit due to the natural lighting. Our server was the most attentive and considerate person. She gave us space but also made sure to see how we liked our first bites and that we had enough water and offered to package our leftovers at the end. We only kept leftovers so we had enough food for the next day too because it was so good we wanted to “keep the party going”. I highly recommend the mango lemonade and the vegetable and mango curry. “Here in Skagit County we have many excellent options for authentic Mexican truck meals. Located on an arterial in a residential area. The truck is rarely here, but when it is, you absolutely should stop in for their handmade tortillas and stewed sauces.
The barbacoa taco plate is a truly unforgettable meal. I was too busy indulging my senses to take a photo.
Friendly people, with Pepper plants and herbs growing beside the sidewalk and picnic table for atmosphere. Indoor dining hut for cold weather.

Parking: Limited parking onsite up the driveway. Once you get in, getting out is hard.
Street Parking around the corner is easier.

Wheelchair accessibility: The driveway to the taco truck and (one side of) the picnic table is a little steep and bumpy for wheelchair accessibility, but no stairs. There is no rail beside the driveway ramp.

“I just wanted to take a minute to write a review for this place because I consider my self a harsh critic when it comes to BBQ given I've lived in the Deep South for over 10 years. This blows it out of the water in the valley. Wow 😱 first the hospitality was amazing 🙂 super inviting even gave us some free corn bread for being first time customers. I got the cowboy beans and they are to die for 🤤 such a great flavor of beans. The pulled pork sandwich was presented perfect I loved that they don't build your sandwhich for you so your bun doesn't get soggy on the way home. The pulled pork was moist and the sauce was full with flavor. Thank you again for the hospitality and the delicious food i definitely recommend this bbq place in the valley!“

“I have been here a number of times, food is usually very good but a little on the spendy side. Service is usually good. I've had a couple of experiences with servers that were rude.

“I ordered pozole to go and I was very surprised how delicious it was. The portion was big which allowed me to save half for the next day. They packaged it in a plastic tub with plastic wrap so there was no spillage. It came with tostadas, three sauces, cabbage onions and radishes. I’m so glad I found a place that makes great pozole.“

“Always fresh and delicious food, my family and I have been coming here for years and it always delivers. The ambiance is not amazing but honestly who cares at a buffet. They have a little bit of everything, they have a Mongolian grill type thing, desserts, seafood, sushi, fried food, dim sum, fruit/salad bar, and of course traditional dishes you’d find at any Chinese restaurant. Definitely recommend this place, it’s on my opinion the best buffet in towns.

Kid-friendliness: I wouldn’t let my small kids under about 10 go up to the buffet by themselves to serve themselves but it is a kid friendly place.“

I had chicken pho and gyozas they were so good and is my very first time trying this type of food and I just want to say it was so delicious and refreshing and it feels very well cooked and fresh and the service waiter was really kind and explained everything to me I really recommend this place, loved it, coming back soon“

“Food was priced reasonably. The server was fantastic and helpful. The 5 dishes we got were very tasty. Clam chowder could of been thicker with more clams and would have been nice to have oyster crackers. The hot turkey dinner was a little weird. The turkey was deep fried I think but the plate size was huge. Western burger's bacon was perfect. Their bacon is very thick and largely portioned.“

“For the those on a keto or carnivore life style, a go to spot. Ordered their 6oz steak and eggs. Hold the toast and hash browns with a side of bacon and a sausage patty. Went smooth with the garlic tabasco sauce and unsweetened iced tea. Great service! Everything you could want in a cafe.“
