“I've been a loyal fan of Lady Jaye (and the crew before they were LJ) for years, and I can't sing its praises enough. The food is consistently top-notch, and those cocktails? SO impressive. As a whiskey lover, I appreciate their variety of whiskey-based drinks. The fun twists, like the soft serve + toppings dessert, popcorn on every table, and American cheese on their Wagyu burger - not just for show ya'll—it all tastes amazing and adds to the vibe. The place is cozy and welcoming, no pretentiousness here. Servers are warm, friendly, and always on top of their game.A few weeks ago, me and some friends booked the Friday night smoked tomahawk. Best decision ever. Tomahawk was smoked to perfection, juicy, and medium-rare. And the sides? We loved 'em all. The meal easily fed three hungry adults and a ravenous 7-year-old, and we were stuffed!Definitely a favorite spot of mine. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out—go check it out!“

“We tried getting a table on a Saturday, and the wait was over 2.5 hours. Tried again on a Wednesday, and still waited 2 hours. It was worth the wait. Recommend hitting Coupe & Flute a couple blocks down for a champagne flight. With the old school hip hop blaring and ambiant lighting, it feels as if you're invited to hangout with your older brother and his cool friends. Except this time they're cooking up some of the best plates in Seattle. The wine list was impressive, they have Chenin Blancs heading South from France to South Africa. Cocktails in Corona bottles. Tropical notes blended to foreshadow what was to come. Boy did it come. A consonance of staples with Guamanian twists, the kind that leave your plate clean and has you asking for seconds. Words don't do this place justice. But trust me, there's a reason folks are lining up the block.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. The scallops were excellent and my partner loved his Oyster appetizer and 1/2 chicken dinner. The service was attentive while not intrusive. I wish we'd been seated inside as the covered patio was chilly...I didn't remove my coat. I saw spots open inside so not sure why we had to sit out there. “This place is pretty good if you're looking for a place with good ambience and decent food, but I wouldn't come here on a casual day because it's quite pricey. I ordered a Penang curry which they served in a coconut (super cute in person and it comes with fresh coconut juice ), pad Thai and fresh rolls. I'm used to Vietnamese spring rolls so I thought the sauce specifically didn't really go well with the rolls. The curry was good (on the spicier side) and the pad Thai was decent.“

“Best Indian food I've tasted in WA! My hubs & I went there on a whim and was pleasantly surprised with every bite. At first we weren't hungry enough for a buffet however, the spread was visually stunning that I'm so glad we jumped in. We absolutely loved the mezze sampler appetizers, which was delightfully light. The Manchurian gobi was crispy and savory. I'm not a vegetarian but the available options convinced me that perhaps I could be about that life. As anticipated there was an abundance of curry but I stayed faithful to butter chicken. My gosh the chicken was tender and smooth. The dessert options were minimal but still hit the spot, specifically the carrot halwa paired with some naan. Don't doubt... Just do it!!!“

The waitress was attentive and took our orders quickly once we sat down.My friends and I shared the Brisket Nachos, Fish & Chips, Chicken Wings, and then both dessert offerings (flourless chocolate cake and fruit cobbler). One of my friend's loves the nachos, but I especially liked the coleslaw that came with the Fish & Chips and the cobbler.I've been here in the summer and their back patio is a great place to grab lunch on a sunny day. Since there were nine of us, they seated us in their private room which had couches and comfy chairs and a cozy, speakeasy atmosphere. It was late so we ordered cocktails and a variety of small plates. I ordered the Tarragon Negroni and, seriously, it is the best cocktail I have ever had. I'm sad that I live 1100 miles away and can't return for another one. All of the small plates we ordered were tasty but my favorite was the Potato Cheese Empanadas. “Nice dark bar. Have been going here on and off for years. Easily my favorite spot to grab a beer and meal in Georgetown.Tavern burgers have a tad bigger patty than a smash burger in my opinion. Loaded with the usual suspects. $7 for a single ($9? for a double?). It doesn’t seem like a great deal but you can get plenty full from a single burger + fries for like ~$12. Massive portion of fries, extremely salty. Rainier tall boys are $4 (proper price) and there is a wide variety of beer on draft. Onion rings are also delicious and come with horseradish sauce that is delicious. Additional sauces are $.75 which makes sense if they’re made in house but I will always grumble about.Don’t believe they have pool tables as another reviewer mentioned. They do have outdoor patio. You can play pool next door at the Seattle Pool Hall.Service is pretty quick and decent though I haven’t been when it’s particularly busy. Bartenders are not the most conversational in my experience but that’s fine.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. 21+“

“I just moved to the area and decided to randomly drop in this establishment. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by friendly staff who got us seated right away! Our waitress was attentive and gave us some advice on where to get fresh flowers nearby! The menu items were varied and reasonably priced. It came out quickly and was fantastic! The mimosa kit is a good value for the price and it seems like they have some sort of special for every day of the week, which is amazing! We will definitely be back!“

Fish and Chips

“Very chill bar with great bartenders who get to know you and a very unassuming, yet great, kitchen (I had the fish and chips and they were sublime, with the best fries I've had for awhile!). Good selection of spirits and a few micro beers. Small but good menu. Pull tabs. A few tvs, but here's the problem, and lack of 5 stars: they got DISH, with no NBC or ROOT, so no Kraken, Blazers, or Sunday night football. But 6 dart boards & 2 pool tables will keep you busy, with a nice patio in the back.“

“Went to Jackalope on a wet Friday night. Was able to get a table for 2 with no wait at 7:30. The place was was lively but not obnoxious. Waitress was attentive and friendly. The whole menu looked delicious. The chips and salsa were great as were the stuffed mini peppers. I got the smoked carnitas and it was amazing. My wife got the brisket tacos and, wow. Some of the best tacos we've ever had. The churros and dulce de Leche cake were also delicious. Would definitely go again and highly recommend.“

“I drive by Jacks BBQ in Algona everyday, it always smells so good. I don't have time to actually eat in but, I did door dash it today to work for an early dinner. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with greens and it was amazing. I also tried the hushpuppies they where also outstanding. I'm sorry I waited so long to eat there. I now have lunch for tomorrow too. Thank You Jack's“

“It was so fun to come find this place and hang out with friends. It was truly not super easy to find it which made it even more fun!I liked how the cocktails menu had been broken down to different eras and the atmosphere was pretty good.A couple things that could have been better the night we visited was if the service was a bit more faster and if they had a bit more exciting snack food options. But overall a pretty fun night. I would go back!“
