“This review actually encompasses several visits in a one month period. Several friends and I had their yummy scones multiple times. They are so good I bought a dozen frozen to take home! Service was always good but twice exceptional. Those two times were both by Marly. The first time is when a friend and I walked over (30 min beach walk) on Father's Day. We were unaware they were serving a brunch and having people enter a different way. We only wanted coffee and a scone and were about to walk away when Marly came walking over and asked if we had a question. I asked if we could get our order to go and she was great about it! She got our order in a very timely manner, was super cheerful and even put a happy face and cheery note on our to go bag. She made our day. Another time we walked over and were standing at the counter. Several wait staff passed by - we did observe they were busy - but the first time Marly came by she stopped and took our order. Her customer service can't be beat and makes me want to return! The only negative I have to say is when a friend and I came for a sit down meal and both ordered the quiche. It was not good. The consistency was "off" and the top was brown (as in overcooked). My friend commented that she thought they probably had frozen it and it was reheated. To be fair, we should have returned it but we were in a hurry. I didn't even both to eat all of mine. I would give them another try for an egg breakfast but not the quiche unless I see an order go by that looks fresh!”

“Jumbo Burrito is absolutely amazing! The family who owns it is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. You can truly taste the love and care they put into their food. Coming from Texas, I have high standards for Mexican food—and this place exceeded them. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Hands down some of the best food around. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful family and their restaurant!”

“Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.”

Excellent wine and the chocolate cake paired with the Madera was excellent. Atmosphere is chic cozy almost lounge like with a great water view. We will definitely be back! Cheers!!”

“Great corned beef hash, but the quality varies by the day. Portions are generous and tasty, and the shakes are made with real ice cream. It gets a little loud (like some small-town restaurants do) but everyone was polite and helpful.

Definitely added this to my Return List.”
