“Came here for my granddaughters 13th birthday and everything about this place was fantastic. The inside looks dated but don't let that fool you. The service, our server [taking orders for 13 people] was very efficient. The food came out pretty quick and it was really, really good! First time eating here and it won't be the last.“

“Location is a bit uncanny so I wasn’t sure when I came into Ichi 19 but the food here was really really solid. Amazingly grilled chicken and pork teriyaki. Has that perfect char taste without overwhelming it and the chicken katsu had the softest chicken I’ve ever eaten complimented by the nice and thin fried coating. Yakisoba has huge portions, really thin noodles with heaps of vegetables and chicken added into it. Hot and spicy tofu had that extra smoky taste with thick glazed sauce around fried tofu pieces and vegetables, eating this with the teriyaki chicken was so so good. Portion size can’t be beat and if you’re looking for teriyaki cravings this place is the best teriyaki go to spot for sure. Really satisfied 😁“

“Went here on a whim as I don't live in that area and I haven't been in for 20+ years.

Food was really good, loved the Won-ton soup. We ended up taking some home as the portions were very healthy.

Great atmosphere I really enjoyed the ambiance and seeing the giant koi swimming near the entrance.

That does not matter. I can't believe somebody left a bad review based on that, while never having eaten here. It was plenty comfortable and the service was fast and friendly enough. “We had ordered take out from here previously and thought we would stop and dine in. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about our experience. They are so friendly and welcoming and our food was so good. We ordered the crab rangoon and the barbecue pork buns, the house special pan fried noodles and the general Tso's chicken. Their crab rangoon is the best we've had from the many restaurants we've tried in the area and everything we ordered was delicious. Our toddler also enjoyed the food (miracle!) and had fun trying the different dishes. We will definitely be back!“

“Green Tea has been cooking up consistently awesome food forever (10+ years we’ve been eating it). I’m pretty sure it’s drive up/take out and delivery only which suits me fine. In fact, I love that they will deliver anywhere in town! Our food always arrives super quickly and I can’t think of a time something was messed up or missing. Their menu is huge, with tons of variety. All the standards you would expect and lots of surprising out of the ordinary dishes as well.“

“Customer service nowadays is a lost art. Went to Chu's for lunch had their special. I was waited on by Sam(Samantha.) She was very attentive, she was very good. The Kung Pao chicken was hot and delicious, the spring rolls were crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside. Awesome place. I recommend this place highly. The tea and fortune cookies are complementary of course“

“This place gives you a TON of food. Some reviews say they don't give you enough, which is absolutely absurd! One entree is enough for two people easily.

The staff is incredibly nice, and the food is good and comes out very fast. We ordered takeout for 4 the other day and paid $35, which is insanely cheap in 2024. I recommend ignoring the overly negative reviews, I think those people must just be generally unhappy about life.“

“My husband and I wanted to venture out and check out a new sushi spot. We tend to always visit the same place in Vancouver and chose to try something in Portland. I came across this restaurant on Yelp and saw it had great reviews so we thought we’d make our way out. It’s located off of 122nd and it’s next to a little corner store market. Very easy to miss and parking lot is very small. We were the only ones in there when we walked in. An Asian male greeted us right away and allowed us to pick any table to sit at. He brought over waters and played and utensils while we looked over the menu. There was quite a bit of options for the sushi and bento dishes, as well as the other Chinese food options. We order chicken gyoza, katsu chicken (which came with miso soup), 2 different sushi rolls and the chicken lo mein. Everything tasted fresh and the food items were all delicious. My husband loved all the dishes and rated everything a 5-star. The service was great and the restaurant was small and clean. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.“

“Overall tasty good looking large portions of food, just not very healthy. Ordered a bean and chicken dish ($18) which was large portion sizes and good looking vegetables, tasted great but you could tell a lot of added ingredients to help thicken and taste better. Not a fresh taste, but still tasted good. I dont know if the use msg but I’m guessing so, but could be wrong . High sodium, high calorie yes.
Service was friendly and fast with ok prices.
The food cart court is great. But honestly I wish this chinese food was cooked with more care and better ingredients / cleaner.

“Ever since I was a kid, me and my father found this place, I was 10 when we found this spot. I am now 22 with 2 kids and they too, love this place! Food portions are AMAZING if you’ve never had egg flour soup, I would highly recommend it.“
