“UPDATE: I submitted a complaint through the national subway website, and immediately the operations manager, for the store reached out to me, and the issue was quickly dealt with. I was thrilled with the quickness of the response, and the apology I was offered for my experience there, so I have amended my review because I know that going forward things will be different at this store.Subway is Subway, you know what you’re getting as far as the food goes but my experience at the Camas Subway today was alarming. From the moment I walked in the door the girl working behind the counter was rude and disrespectful. She was incredibly unpleasant to deal with even when I tried to overcompensate by being extra friendly and kind. It felt like I had somehow greatly inconvenienced her by coming in to order two sandwiches. The restaurant was not busy, I was the only one in there the whole time, but somehow she made me feel like my mere existence in her space was unacceptable.“

“I've been going to the Subway in the Safeway parking lot off 162nd for the last few years and have been disappointed every single time, honestly I don't know why I keep going back. I finally drove the extra 2 minutes to this store a few weeks ago and was blown away by the FANTASTIC quality of the sandwiches and the crew at the store.

Must be a fluke, right? Just a good day?

I've been back several times since then and have had the same amazing experience every time, I've finally been able to convince my wife to eat subway again!

Not sure if it's a matter of a different franchise or if this store is owner/operater, but there is a night and day difference between the crew and product quality at this location and most of the others in Vancouver.
Kudos to the team!

“This review is to praise one person!! She is always INCREDIBLY kind and upbeat when we come in!!! She always makes sure your sandwich is EXACTLY how you want it!!! This girl honestly needs a raise!! Her name is Rejoy, (I hope I spelt it right) we came in tonight, at around 5:50-6 and got 5 sandwiches! She did all of them and cashed us out all while being kind and had amazing customer service!!! She helped us use our rewards resulting in 2 free sandwiches because we had so much built up! So I had to buy some cookies to leave her another tip!!Thanks girl and keep up the phenomenal work!!!!!!“

“Subway is my wife's favorite sandwich chain. I can rarely talk her into trying a different one. She always gets the foot long and double meat. It's not that she's a big eater. She likes to have it be two meals. I usually get the BMT. Parking is adequate although it shares its lot with several other businesses. I've always been able to find a space. “The crew that worked Saturday 5/24/25 was severely understaffed, and had a lobby full of angry people. They kept their cool though and tried the best they could to accommodate the long wait time.

Upper management gets 1 star for making these poor guys work a skeleton crew holiday weekend.“
