“My wife and I don't often go out to eat because we are pretty frugal and she is an excellent chef anyway. We're often disappointed by dishes or prices or both. However the food at Great Blue Heron Grill was absolutely delicious, the staff was just the right level of attentive, and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for on our night out. “I’ve been wanting to try SKAI Sushi for a while, and today was finally the day, and wow, it did not disappoint. I didn’t realize they were closing just 7 minutes before I ordered, yet they were incredibly kind and gracious enough to turn the grill and fryer back on. That alone says so much about their customer service. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Roll, Golden Cali Roll, and Chicken Teriyaki. The sushi was absolutely amazing, and the teriyaki was not only delicious but came in a portion size big enough for three meals! Between the outstanding food, exceptional service, and very fair pricing, SKAI Sushi has definitely earned a loyal customer. Bonus points for being high quality without breaking the bank. “Celebrated our 11th anniversary with dinner and drinks at The Vault. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, so courteous and attentive. We had the watermelon feta salad, black cod and mushroom pasta. The watermelon feta was really good. The mushrooms in the two mains were a little overpowering with their char but beyond that the entrees were so delicious. The drinks were on point and just plain heaven in glass. We will absolutely be coming back again.“

“1st time for dinner here. Tried the Prime Rib. It was delicious, seasoned well, baked potato with the works was as good as the Prime Rib. White cheddar Mac n cheese was quite good also. Really good service and atmosphere. 29.00 for this delicious food was well worth it. Only reason for 4 stars was my wife didn't like the rice with her shrimp dish. She likes her jasmine rice and is quite picky with rice. She's asian and rice is life lol. We will definitely be back for a great dining experience.“

So I can’t review SHORES as a bar, but everyone here seems happy with their various libations, and the portions are generous. My testimony here concerns Friday and Saturday nights, when SHORES is transformed into a welcoming haven for singers of every possible stripe. Gravel voiced curmudgeons carve tales of outlaw life, fleet nightingales croon new pop standards, and freewheeling dudes bounce out favorite rock anthems. All take their place within the spotlight, and are notably supported by the nonjudgmental crowd. Affable MC and Host Breck makes everyone feel at home, and diligently searches the Karafun database for even the most obscure number. I’ve recently discovered Karaoke to be a rejuvenating pastime, and while there are several venues in Bellingham that are arguably tonier, this is my favorite place to sing. It feels like the fun, safe headquarters of a kind, secret tribe. And, the location allows one to take a break, out on the hearty wood deck, and bask in the unfiltered beams of Venus and the Moon, as they lamp the cool waters we share with Canada.“

“Classic fast food, space age mid century counter service burger stop. Its great, come here with the boys at work all the time. Service is friendly, they offer The BIG BUN, its not for everyone but if you can handle it Ive never seen other places with that kind of offering. “Visited IHOP for the first time in 10 years, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is conveniently located off Bakerview Road in northern Bellingham, not far from I-5. There was a small wait to get a booth inside, but not too long. The interior just felt and sounded like your normal American pancake house, so I can’t complain about that. I ordered one of the value breakfast meals with coffee to drink, and everything was very tasty for the price of around $10 before gratuity. My server, Georjan, was very friendly and attentive. Overall, this is one of the most solid breakfast spots in the city, especially in terms of value.“

Our server (Amy) was exceptional knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive and clearly passionate about her job and menu. Every recommendation she made was spot-on, from Apps to drinks. Its rare to find someone who can guide you so confidently and enhance the entire dining experince the way she did. 5 stars does not justify the service we recieved.

What else was impressive was the managers (John) presence. He was actively engaged on the floor, checking in, supporting his team and setting a positive tone. You could genuinely feel that leadership throughout the resturant- the staff worked seamlessly together and created a welcoming atmosphere.

Food and drinks - were executed flawlessly. Every dish came out perfectly prepared with drinks equally impressive, balanced and crafted with care.

Overall, this was an outstanding dining experince and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a memorable experince with a stunning view.“
