The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and their food lives up to every expectation and more. The food comes out to you quick and they take the time to converse with their customers. “So glad to have had the chance to try their malasadas! I got a six pack with two of each flavors (lilikoi, haupia, and chocolate) while I was at the Monroe Farmer’s Market. The chocolate was a super rich and thick, the haupia was creamy as heck, and the lilikoi was my favorite of the bunch with the perfect consistency and burst of fruit flavor. “I ordered a plate of Los Gallos Rojos knowing that it looked rich, and it sure was. The portion was extremely generous for the price, and absolutely loaded with meat and cheese. I have no doubts that the plate weighed half a pound or more. I ate one of three tacos and took the other two home.

The horchata was decent, will order again.

“I am a seeker of cheesesteaks. Any restaurant that has them I will try it. The cheesesteaks that Tre makes are the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. My favorite are Tres Caliente and the Nashville Bacon Bleu. I tell all my friends about them and I travel from the NE side in Wedgwood (20-30 min drive depending on traffic) to the location because they are that good. Thanks Tre!“

“Moving to Seattle from Texas, I was worried that I wouldnt be able to get kickass hole-in-the-wall quesadillas and burritos anymore.El Naranjo, just down the road from my new house, dispelled those concerns. I had a delicious carne asada quesadilla ready in TWO MINUTES for ten dollars flat, and it is easily in the top 5 quesadillas I've ever had. The salsa is delicious, and the generous dollop of sour cream, avocado slice, and grilled peppers proved this place has authentic chops.This truck is going to be my new staple takeout joint, and I'm excited to have moved so close by!“

“I wanted to try out a few of their available proteins. So I got 3 tacos and chose chorizo, adobada, and braised beef cheeks. That is the order in which I would rank them as well. The chorizo was the best, very flavorful and spicy without overwhelming the dish. My second favorite was the adobada. It was good, though not quite as good as it could've been. I have had a whole lot of adobada over the years and there's definitely some better out there but it was still solid, and an option I can comfortably recommend. The cheeks were kinda so so. I felt like they really needed more spices and flavors. Without any spicing up of the dish, I expected a strong flavor of beef, but the flavor was a bit off. It just wasn't very good. I wouldn't say it was bad but it wasn't very good either. I wouldn't get it again. One thing I didn't see on the menu, sadly, was al pastor. It's definitely my favorite Mexican protein, and it's absence here was sorely felt.

The horchata was EXCELLENT.

The outdoor seating area was very cool for a food truck. It's covered which is undoubtedly very nice when there is a bit of rain coming down. There's enough seating there for about 20 people if it's totally packed so not a huge area but certainly enough. A welcome opportunity to enjoy my tacos without having to scurry away first. The location is in the core of Ravenna so there's no real issues with crime or riff raff. I imagine there might be an individual or two from time to time with a touch of the sketch on em but I didn't spot any today.

Parking was street only, and paid, so bring some quarters. The staff was super nice. Very friendly.

“Great value here: carnitas plate comes with rice, beans with cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, caramelized onions, two salsas, flour or corn tortillas, and a veritable heap of carnitas, tender but with those crispy edges. And a grilled jalapeño. Oh, and avocado!I raised Tacos el Encanto to the full five stars because they've been consistently good for a long time now. Fast, friendly service.“
