“Nice chill place. I dined alone, I was passing by to go somewhere else. I was looking for a vegan option which they don't have but tried to accommodate me. I had a cocktail it wasn't bad. The thing I liked the most are the atmosphere and the servers. They also have a power bank you could borrow from a charging station ( i paid 15 dollars which is a bit expensive) but if you are desperate enough you will have to I guess 😉“

It’s a great neighborhood pub with everything you’d want—GREAT staff (Bekkah, Ellie, and Joe are big reasons why we keep coming back), fun trivia nights, karaoke, and special events about once per month. Wide variety of rotating taps, liquor, wine, hard seltzers, and clever Jell-O shot creations. Brunch on weekends and tasty apps/ lunch/ dinner fare with a kitchen that’s open late. “I headed to Greenwood for some gumbo at 74th Street Ale House. I have had this dish and have often cooked it many times. It is a complex but flavorful dish with many ingredients, but the key is the roux. Flour, olive oil and canola oil are sloooowly browned and thickened. When the roux is ready a pile of vegetables, meats, and spices are added to the pot with broth. The mixture then simmers on low heat for hours. When ready, the gumbo is served over rice. 74th Street is the master! This bowl was as delicious as ever. I also had some delicious, spiced nuts as an appetizer. The service was slow.“

“It's a pirate themed dive / sports bar. Karaoke on Saturdays is worth showing up for. The house drinks are strong and they even managed to make a decent old fashioned with buffalo trace burbon. People were easy to talk to and the drinks were priced reasonably. I will be back.“

“I was at The Lodge for an afternoon reception and wedding, and Father Mulligan's has an extremely convenient happy hour from 2-5PM on Friday and Saturday. Suffice it to say, we stopped by to down a drink or two before the festivities.

The bartenders were very friendly and the cocktail of the day was a fruity vodka/cranberry/grapefruit cocktail topped with a fruity sour. It was very drinkable and our orders came out quickly.

Their wine list also has some unique gems on it, definitely worth a look.

“Pretty good food, you shouldn't be disappointed, with the best atmosphere of any bar I've been too, 6 stars for that atmosphere. The best part, coming from a structural engineer, is how wonky their floors and ceiling are - the entire place has settled massively and idk how it's still allowed, must be 136% grandfathered in. The only minus star is because they only ever have one bartender on at a time, so if it happens to be busy (but it's such a small, very local dive bar, that rarely comes up), the service can be a little slow.“

“I went last night on the recommendation of a co-worker. I was pleasantly surprised. I'd seen other reviews that didn't experience what I did.

This is a sports bar. There are TVs everywhere, and the Thursday night football game was on. One of the reasons I was there. It was also Taco night. $1 Tacos. I thought the shells could have been a little crispier but for $1, whatever! I had 10. And a few beers.

The bartenders were very friendly, they have a great selection of beer ( my drink) as well as spirits.

The crowd at 6pm was older, and appeared to be Blue Collar. Younger folks came in later.

The tables in front of the bar are big so you may end up sharing one with someone you don't know. But the gents who I was sitting with were football fans and nice guys. We talked and laughed about a lot of different things.

Over all, a great experience. Yes they take cards (I read cash only somewhere, not true).
