“If you’re going on Saturday morning be prepared to wait a bit (outside) in line and dress accordingly! Worth it though. Phenomenal service and food. Their bagels and shmear are good- just the right amount of chew and density but not dried out or tough. If you like sandwiches though definitely give one of their bagel sandwiches a try. The “hot to go” was the favorite of the 3 we tried (classic bacon egg cheese, pastrami, & hot to go).“

Service is friendly, sincere, and you can tell the bakers care. The space is inviting, no gimmicks, just good baking done well.

My only nitpick (and it’s a small one): come early, because the best stuff flies off the shelves. But when you get it fresh? That’s the kind of bake that makes me want to roll up my sleeves and say, ‘This is what a bakery should be.’

I stumbled across crumbled more recently and I now very much enjoy their desserts. I love that they have a new menu every week and we get to try all kinds of yummy and exciting new things to look forward to. “Little Miss Sweets NYC is my favorite bakery. I hadn't even realized everything they make is gluten-free until long after I'd been shopping there. My favorite thing would be hard to pick, but if you have a chance, grab you some guava pastelitos. They melt in your mouth, and the pastr is like buttah! I dream of these things! And the cheesecakes? OMG...ube and peach cobbler are my favorite. And you can find those in lots of local stores, like Stadium Thriftway and H&L Produce, to name a couple.

The owner, Lydia, also holds an annual event called Savor Fest that brings together food vendors from a variety of cultures so you can eat good food from around the world all in one place while supporting local businesses. Cool, right?!

“This was my first time in, kinda cool! I zipped through it looking for fruit pies for my birthday, but I remember thinking I need to come back to the food bars for lunch someday. So many options, it reminds me of Town & Country in Poulsbo, back in the days where it was called Central Market. Love that place, too.

Also, the Metropolitan pies did NOT suck! That's hard to achieve in a pie place, let alone a grocery store. Crispy crust after rebaking, not too sweet, with strong and delicate fruit flavors both coming through. I'd say a solid 3/5 stars, from a picky pie freak. And what a relief, because they were *spendy*, lol. I will be buying their expensive pies again next year!“
