“Very good authentic indian flavors, garlic naan was nice and crispy and food came out within reasonable amount of time. Portion sizes were not skimpy and had at least 1 meal leftover per dish. I ordered the lamb korma and my aunt the butter chicken with both spice level of 3. Lamb was tender and the spices were all fragrant and refined. The 3/5 spice level wasn’t overwhelming but rather added to the dish, but I could’ve gone up a spice level. Mango and Strawberry lassi were exceptional.”

“The tea is amazing, the tapioca is always perfect, and I personally feel like I can taste how clean all of their tools are in the waffles and fries especially. Honorable mention for the curly fries and the sauce, which in my opinion is the BEST curly fries I've ever had.

Also, the one time I've come here and they were PACKED busy and my fries took a while, they gave me 3 free macarons to apologize which I honestly didn't feel like was necessary anyways since they were so busy the wait was expected. 10/10, I'll be here often.”

“Hy lu Hee Hee ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hy Lu Hee Hee means “Good Times and Lots of Laughter.” The Hy lu Hee Hee is a Gig Harbor, WA local’s hang-out that got it start as a Tavern in 1935. In 1958, the State condemned the tavern building and asked that the business vacate the premises, so they could build a new highway to Purdy. The business was rebuilt in 1983, in a new location, by new owners, which is where it has remained ever since. I have been visiting Gig Harbor since 1990, but my first visit to the Hy Lu Hee Hee wasnt until 5/19/23, which was a Friday. Although I arrived before 9 PM, the music was LOUD! I’ve decided to do a sound check via the app SoundPrint. It averaged 83 dB and got as high as 88 dB, which is considered Very Loud. That would’ve been acceptable if I had signed up to see a live band, but it wasn’t. It was bad pre-recorded music, being played over blown speakers.  I had to shout out my order. Everyone around me was shouting too. My server told me this is the norm after 9 PM. Unless you’re already deaf, or enjoy the thought of shouting at your dining companions, I recommend you visit the Hy Lu Hee Hee earlier in the day.  I ordered one of the five house favorites on the menu, Fish + Chips ($17) - Breaded and Seasoned Wild Alaskan True Cod with Fries, House Slaw + Tartar Sauce. Compared to all the fish and chips I’ve eaten in Washington state, it was pretty standard fare. It was a generous portion of fries, and I liked the housemade tartar sauce. The coleslaw had decent flavor, but it obviously been made sometime ago and was swimming in liquid. Personally, I prefer Tides Tavern, which is another Gig Harbor local’s hang out, but I’ll be back at some point to visit the Hy lu Hee Hee. Next time, I’ll just make sure to do it earlier in the day. * I would like to share some photos of my dining experience, including a picture of my fish and chips, but that option is disabled on this page. ”

Fresh, soft, big bagels in tonss of great flavors (we got plain, everything, jalapeno cheddar, 4 cheese, cinnamon raisin, and chocolate chip) and their cream cheeses & butters were perfect additions to perfect bagels (plain, scallion, & roasted jalapeno cream cheeses plus garlic herb, marionberry citrus, and honey butter). Everything was a hit at our family brunch! Lots and lots of compliments and "where did you get these?!" Highly recommend visiting B's Bagels & Butters. We will be back!”

“Kimball Coffeehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts. I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent! One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find.  I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.… Highly Recommended!!!”

“This was our first visit to Wet Coast Brewing. It's located in a small strip mall just seconds off of Hwy 16. It was a quiet weekday afternoon.Our first impression was that it was very clean and organized.The bartender Jas (sp?) had a good personality and was very welcoming and appreciative. Always a good start!Unfortunately, there were patrons with their dogs sitting inside. Dont get me wrong, I love dogs, I have three, but I don't think they belong indoors in public places. Especially restaurants, breweries, or any public place where food or beverages are served. I'll never understand why some people feel the need to take them everywhere they go!Another patron asked if he could bring his dog inside. The bartender respectfully and politely explained that they really don't normally allow pets inside.So I'll let that issue rest.I wish I could remember the name of the specific beer I had, because I really enjoyed it. It, along with a few other of their creations, are available canned in a cooler ready for people on the go.I look forward to another visit to Wet Coast.”

“Hmm, where to start... They have the best pizzas with their signature crispy wood-fired pizzas, and we aren't kidding that they are our absolute favorite pizzas in all of Washington. Next on the list are their pizza rolls. We've had good pizza rolls, but never pizza rolls like Fondi's. Pro tip: If you really want your pizza rolls to be epic, you have to dip them in Fondi's homemade gorgonzola dressing. Trust us. We even know a three-year-old who isn't a fan of pizza (yeah, we think it's crazy too), but he will devour half a plate of Fondi's pizza rolls... Their salads are the freshest salads around; you'd think they were a strictly salad restaurant with how amazing these salads are. We've tried every single salad on the menu, and if we had to pick our favorite, maybe the Insulata di mele with its fennel-candied walnuts, but then we'd feel bad for forgetting their classic Caesar's forum, which is a Caesar salad even your kids will want to eat! We may have saved the best for last, because Fondi's flatbread, which we order crispy with the fresh mozzarella, white bean dip (kind of like hummus if we had to compare it to something more well known), and their pomodoro spread (a really fresh marinara-type dip). We almost forgot our favorite dessert! The Burnt Creme, aka Creme Brulee, is incredible; it's really the best way to finish your meal, but we sometimes order the Affogato as well, it's espresso over ice cream, and it's delicious!”

“my husband and I will go there about few times a year. this was my father in laws favorite place to eat every Wednesday with his brother for many yrs. Yesterday(July 21st) we ate there at approximately 7pm. very nice waiter we had. my husband ordered a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. he indicated that that meat was very tough and rubbery. I tasted it and totally agreed with him. but that won't stop us from going there again. we did show up on July 16th(Sunday). had no idea you closed up so early(it was about 6pm)”

However they did mange to serve about 20 cars that ordered after us. This store was just renovated and it is unclear why they kept the dining room.
