“5 stars is the only option I'd consider for this relativity new Gig Harbor restaurant. Parking was easy during our Sunday late afternoon visit. When walking in , we were instantly greeted with a warm smile and promptly seated. Everything appeared crystal clean . Indian food can be rather spicy . My wife and I are used to spicy foods and asked for a level 3, which worked perfectly for us. There is no view, yet I'd consider the setting quite romantic, with a fairly low noise level allowing for pleasant conversations. My Aloo Gobi was delicious, my wife agreed that her Chicken Tika was as well. For our drink we each ordered a mango lasi and again werenot disappointed. A great little restaurant.”

“This is my favorite bubble tea shop! The employees are all so nice and welcoming, and the bubble tea itself is delicious. I love that they have rose flavored popping boba here too (it's such a hard to find flavor). The decor inside is so cute too!”

“We had a date night here and were absolutely impressed. The Beecher’s grilled cheese and butternut squash soup was a stand out. Both of our pasta entrees were phenomenal as well. The star of the show, though, was our dessert, which was a deconstructed PB&J. I don’t think I’ve ever had something that had such a wide variety of complementary textures. It was amazing and flavorful.”

“My friend and I went there today for a belated birthday lunch for me. Our first time there. We sat on the deck. Beautiful view. Our server Joan was excellent. She checked back with us often. The food was outstanding. We shared Insalata Gamberetti, which was so delicious. We also shared Capellini Positano, which also was delicious. We were so full, but did have a free birthday serving of Spumoni. It was the best I've had. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of our food. The prices there were so reasonable. Eating out has become so expensive. I was pleasantly surprised that we could have an excellent view, excellent food and excellent attentive server Joan. It was perfect , I would highly recommend.”

“This is by far the best BBQ in Western WA. Everything is good. Portion sizes are great and prices are reasonable. We drive an hour just to get great BBQ. We have met people who drove 3 hours to just eat the excellent BBQ. They also have vegetarian options.”

“Kimball Coffeehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts. I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent! One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find.  I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.… Highly Recommended!!!”

“We always pass this place on our drive to the Hood Canal. On our way home we needed some lunch to go, and it was open on Labor Day. So glad we did! Best pizza we have had in Washington since moving here in 2015. Great crust and quality toppings. Deep dish without the heaviness and ingredients to the edge, making you never leaving the crust behind. I felt bad for the one person working by herself, but she held it down well, and we will be back!”

“This was our first visit to Wet Coast Brewing. It's located in a small strip mall just seconds off of Hwy 16. It was a quiet weekday afternoon.Our first impression was that it was very clean and organized.The bartender Jas (sp?) had a good personality and was very welcoming and appreciative. Always a good start!Unfortunately, there were patrons with their dogs sitting inside. Dont get me wrong, I love dogs, I have three, but I don't think they belong indoors in public places. Especially restaurants, breweries, or any public place where food or beverages are served. I'll never understand why some people feel the need to take them everywhere they go!Another patron asked if he could bring his dog inside. The bartender respectfully and politely explained that they really don't normally allow pets inside.So I'll let that issue rest.I wish I could remember the name of the specific beer I had, because I really enjoyed it. It, along with a few other of their creations, are available canned in a cooler ready for people on the go.I look forward to another visit to Wet Coast.”

Service sometimes needs attention though, most of times there’s only one person working upfront taking all the orders and get confused which one to serve first! We will come in here sometimes and just get the cheese plate or a little sandwich and a drink and sit around and just talk it's a very peaceful relaxing place they have indoor and outdoor seating. And it's on the corner the inside of the strip mall so you have a nice view if you sit outside on a sunny day. Staff are always friendly and helpful in what I like about it also is it's always clean and has a very cool eclectic feeling inside. “Hy lu Hee Hee ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hy Lu Hee Hee means “Good Times and Lots of Laughter.” The Hy lu Hee Hee is a Gig Harbor, WA local’s hang-out that got it start as a Tavern in 1935. In 1958, the State condemned the tavern building and asked that the business vacate the premises, so they could build a new highway to Purdy. The business was rebuilt in 1983, in a new location, by new owners, which is where it has remained ever since. I have been visiting Gig Harbor since 1990, but my first visit to the Hy Lu Hee Hee wasnt until 5/19/23, which was a Friday. Although I arrived before 9 PM, the music was LOUD! I’ve decided to do a sound check via the app SoundPrint. It averaged 83 dB and got as high as 88 dB, which is considered Very Loud. That would’ve been acceptable if I had signed up to see a live band, but it wasn’t. It was bad pre-recorded music, being played over blown speakers.  I had to shout out my order. Everyone around me was shouting too. My server told me this is the norm after 9 PM. Unless you’re already deaf, or enjoy the thought of shouting at your dining companions, I recommend you visit the Hy Lu Hee Hee earlier in the day.  I ordered one of the five house favorites on the menu, Fish + Chips ($17) - Breaded and Seasoned Wild Alaskan True Cod with Fries, House Slaw + Tartar Sauce. Compared to all the fish and chips I’ve eaten in Washington state, it was pretty standard fare. It was a generous portion of fries, and I liked the housemade tartar sauce. The coleslaw had decent flavor, but it obviously been made sometime ago and was swimming in liquid. Personally, I prefer Tides Tavern, which is another Gig Harbor local’s hang out, but I’ll be back at some point to visit the Hy lu Hee Hee. Next time, I’ll just make sure to do it earlier in the day. * I would like to share some photos of my dining experience, including a picture of my fish and chips, but that option is disabled on this page. ”

Yesterday(July 21st) we ate there at approximately 7pm. very nice waiter we had. my husband ordered a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. he indicated that that meat was very tough and rubbery. I tasted it and totally agreed with him. but that won't stop us from going there again. we did show up on July 16th(Sunday). had no idea you closed up so early(it was about 6pm)”
