“I would say one of the best pizza places period in Pierce County,Wa., WA., personally the best dominoes in all of Pierce County, without a doubt, right here at this location, and they stay open later than most for the late night craters like myself, for the pick up fashion which I love to save money and use better coupons so I can save that money to order again, and I must say they have the best and friendliest staff, at any workplace, and that brings me back, I would say the most, and also I like to mention, they rarely, or never have messed up my order, not one time in recent memory, and pizza is always made to perfection, so thank you staff at this location, your good, hard work doesn't go unnoticed, and keep up the great work, you all deserve a pat on the back, and I'll whisper it, (maybe a raise soon, lol). Or atleast a free pizza to take home after work!! Thank you, and hope people see this review, and maybe try you out instead of Mountain Highways location, down the road, and see what I mean, Good day, and great work by the hiring manager to get outstanding workers, that like they're job, and do it well, as that is getting increasingly harder nowadays !!!!“
“First time getting a cake and I will from now on get all of my celebration cakes from here. Beautiful presentation. Cake is moist, soft, not too sweet or overpowering. Frosting is fluffy cream cheese and perfect. Staff treated me excellent, especially Lexy, she was very professional, attentive and patient.“
“My friend and I meet here every few weeks for Saturday breakfast and to catch up. We love the food and coffee. However, the music is ridiculously loud and heavy metal is not condusive to visiting. It's hard to talk and actually hear what is being said. We hate to find a new place but, this morning was exceptionally nerve wracking. Does not make for a relaxing, enjoyable place to hang out.“
“The only reason why this place was not getting 5 stars is because the chips and pico were absolutely disgusting, like we almost left. The pico was dry and flaky and very sour, and the chips were cold and overly fried.BUT my husband's burger was amazing, and those were the best shrimp tacos I've ever had!!The service was great. Our waitresses was very nice. She felt awful for the chips and compted us with some nice dessert. She really didn't have to do that, but it was a really nice surprise. She was awesome!“
“Went for afternoon tea today. Had the "Champagne of Tea" and Fruity Tootie (sweet). both teas were great. Beware the scones we received had raisins in them, I was told the children's would be chocolate chip and I was under the impression the adults were plain but the children's had golden raisins and the adults had regular and golden raisins. FYI the english store is no longer there. Apparently it's been gone for a year but I didn't know. I specially went to this tea room for that as my mother is from England and I wanted to surprise her. So that kinda of sucked. The server stated they plan to hopefully bring it back by no eta. Service was decent and food was good. The room had some Harry Potter candles and decor but the setting is just black furniture with white table cloths and white dishes. If you're looking for more flowery or different vibe there are some other tea rooms in the area that will provide that.“
“Very welcoming, family owned and operated Kafe. Hardy helpings, comfort food, daily specials and homemade pies desserts and soups for a great price! This place is a hidden gem more people need to experience. The atmosphere is just like coming home for a get together. Great place for breakfast on the weekends.“
“The prices are better than the supermarket prices. This shop is small but has brands other than Franz. No cakes or baked confections. They do have donuts, buns, and bread. They place was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the shop is a bit small.“
“This is the outlet store for pretty much all the bread companies in the area. You won't get better prices on 99% of the bread sold here. They have a bargain wall of items close to best by dates and fresh items for regular price. I love they also give free items with minimum purchases. Spent $18 tonight and got two types of bagels free. A bag of mini bagels and a sleeve of Cheddar Onion Garlic bagels. Those won't last to see the best by date on Monday. Items vary daily and some days they run out.You can even get restaurant pack breads here. Some of your favorite bread served at restaurants is here. Cheap. This is NOT a restaurant. Not sure why google has it listed as one.“
“As a family we did Easter brunch. Tall ceilings with lots of windows showcased our amazing brunch experience. This was our first time. We enjoyed delicious food. A large variety was offered. The service was excellent. A go to place for sure. We'll be going back.Parking: Easy to park near the entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat and easy to navigate walkways.“
“Stop reading and go eat! :D Fantastic food, service, vibe. The butter potatoes are to die for. (Pick as your side!)Clam chowder is great too! Only $5 to add on to an entrée, and comes with pita! The only thing that wasn't 5 star is the rice soup, not bad, but wouldn't get again. Everything else is delightful. Pizza looks amazing. Trying that next time! We have been back twice already.Pictures is the stuffed chicken, clam chowder, and lamb“
“Pizza time has good prices for a family. I was able to get 3 pizzas, bread sticks, and a 2 liter for around 40 bucks. The pizza is just OK. I always re cook mine in the air fryer to get it a little browner and crisper. It's a good option if you want to feed a crowd without breaking the bank. We recommend bbq chicken it's our favorite. They also don't deliver to bonney lake so I have to drive to get it which is no big deal it's about 17 minutes away.Vegetarian options: Many veggie optionsParking: Parking is plenty because it's just a pick up location, you don't eat inside.“
“It's a good place the prices are different online for sure I don't know why they haven't updated but big portion and fast they have sauces up front as well and you know that one of the best parts of a teriyaki place is to put more of the sauce on it. Anyways wish they added more spice or made it more spicy but overall it's good place good yaki“
“So I haven't been here in awhile now just was in the mood for fries at 1am on the way to the hospital so we ordered on-line for pick-up. It's tucked in the back behind South Hill Mall very nice looking as we drive up n upon entering I was amazed at how clean n actually beautiful it was inside. The young lady working was super Sweet n the cook did an excellent job on my fries which was ready when I arrived. Will most definitely stop back in for a dit down meal. The only thing I will miss is the 2 4 6 n 8. Bring them back please n thank you. But definitely go stop on in and see what hard work n a love for your job will do for your meal adventure ?“
“Down home cafe vibe and food. Huge portions and tastes like grandma is cooking in the back for you. They no longer have gluten free items marked on the menu, but have plenty of options, including gluten free pancakes. I safely eat gf breakfast here at least monthly and never get sick.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“The customer service is top tier when entering or leaving someone makes it their responsibility to speak. The atmosphere is soothing and always welcoming. One key component, you receive a glass of ice cold water and don't forget to ask for a straw ?“
“Good food, good service. Very family friendly. They greet you like they’re happy to see you, welcome you and make you feel like you should come back again. Kaylee and Angela are our favorites, friendly and attentive. Very consistent quality and consistently good.“
“I come here for lunch often but decided to take my kids for breakfast. They got the crepes and they looked great and they were very happy and I got the breakfast burrito and it was amazing!! Not too big but not small and super full of all the things you want in your breakfast burrito! I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch!“
“I finally managed to check this great little spot out. It's just a few years young, but definitely on the right track. This husband and wife team creates some fantastically delicious and refreshing ciders! The flight I sampled consisted of 4 unique selections and all were amazing! The cider list will change frequently, so drink up because your fave might be long gone the next time you visit. Given that the taproom/cidery is in a renovated warehouse, it boasts high ceilings providing an open, spacious, and airy feeling, and seating is available outdoors as well. A food truck is on-site, bring your own eats, or Door Dash it. And...they have a few local beers are on tap, if ciders aren't your thing.Leashed fur-babies are allowed to hang out here with their well-behaved owners, and this place is family-friendly, too!I will definitely return and can't wait to see what's next on their cider menu.“
“Wow! What an awesome place! They have a great variety of tequilas, the margaritas are great, and our server was very helpful with her recommendations. I had the chicken mole, which was amazing. I've searched for an authentic mole for quite a while, and was so pleased to finally find one. My companion had a carnitas street burrito and said the pork was super juicy and flavorful. Will most definitely be back!“
“Chicken and biscut was really good. Service was a little off forgetting items but after asking again got it. The portions on some plates were huge and others small. I did really appreciated how the server split the check asking from the beginning. Reason for 4 not 5 star is server sat us at a ver awkward table of one on each end and two in the middle. The seat at one end was almost in the kitchen/walk area and the other end only a small person could comfortably sit at without bumping into the next table. There were multiple tables of 4 open that we walked by before being seated that we could easily have sat at.“
“Absolutely love this place. Have come since I was a child. To this day, still great food, prices, and service. If you have the pleasure of going, ask for Dona. She is AMAZING. Sweetest woman ever. So helpful & quick to respond. Will be coming back again.“
“The wifey and I made the trek to Lacey Washington to visit our daughter's college stomping grounds... we ended up getting an Air BnB in Tacoma.... we decided to go out the first night and were hungry for Pizza... we I jumped on Yelp and found Farellis.. it was close and had good reviews... it happened to be less than a mile away.. we went in side and the place was clean and seemed pretty open... there were not many people dining at the time.. the waitresses were courteous and tended to our needs in timely manner... we had Pepsi and water then ordered breadsticks.. the breadsticks were good... the daughter ordered a personal pepperoni pizza ... the pepperonis looked good nice and curled up like the shoulder he... the wife and I shared the pizza of the day which was a Big Ben's Island Pizza.. so good... this place is a hit and everyone should go if they are in town..“
“First time here and I can see why it is a success. Fun atmosphere, very good service, and good food. I had the potato skins and Western Burger. It was delicious. My husband had the chicken avocado "burger". It was not the greatest but was fine. Onion rings were fine. Loved the Carrot cake beer discovered from my beer flight. Fun place.“
“The vibe was amazing! Ciara was our bartender and she was awesome and very attentive! Her service was on point and her drinks she made are delicious ? I recommend the Strawberry Mule sooo good!! I highly recommend the Forum downtown Puyallup.“
“Good food, but the portion size compared to the price we paid for appetizers was pretty lame.I had the Ahi Tuna Salad and loved it. My wife had the whole Snapper (Thai style). Their smores dessert was delicious and a great presentation show!I don't think their kids portions are actually any smaller than adult portions. More for the dad tax.“
“I will say the quality of their sushi and sashimi are amazing. I had the Sushi & Sashimi Platter. It had 11 pieces total for 40$ which I will say is a little much. I have been to a few other places with similar quality fish and this is the first one where this type of platter was 40$. The food was delicious though and the staff while awkward were very kind. I didn't dine in but the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant while waiting though I do take off a star for no clear waiting area for pickups/takeout.“
“My husband and I were here on a Thursday around 4:30pm. It was not busy. Our waitress was attentive. I ordered the almost famous chimi dog(I really like the chili!). My husband ordered the half chicken fried steak. We are from Oklahoma and know what a good chicken fried steak is and this is it! We both got the salad bar as a side it is a small salad bar but has all the basics and it was good!“
“I don't know if anyone would consider it authentic Mexican food, but it certainly is what I expect when I go out to eat Mexican food. We have been dining there a lot lately, and have had consistently good food and good service. The portions are very large. My wife and I often split the Trio Fajitas, and we get plenty of food and we both really enjoy it. They always keep us going with chips and salsa. The salsa is not that great, but that would be my only complaint. We recently ate at Cactus in Proctor, and felt like our food and service is so much better and much cheaper at El Toro. The portions are much larger and the food is much closer to what I expect when eating at a Mexican restaurant. The experience at Cactus certainly made us appreciate El Toro much more.Well done, El Toro! We look forward to dining there again soon!Vegetarian options: Not sure how many options there are for vegetarians, but my son gets their Cheese Enchiladas and rice and beans and loves it. Huge portion.“
“I accidentally forgot to complete my order online but the Sienna and the rest of the staff honored the 30% off coupon and helped me recreate my order. She was super helpful ringing me up. They had it all ready in less than 10 minutes. I wish there was a spot to sit but that's not on them. Awesome location!Vegetarian options: Dairy free cheese options“
“We’ve been coming here for over 10 years and there’s been some ups and downs, but overall they serve a solid breakfast. The waitlist really helps for their busier times. My favorite is the strawberry waffle. Their pancakes are also excellent. My husband usually gets the corn beef hash or chicken fried steak. Also, their gingerbread pancakes (seasonal) are amazing!!Kid-friendliness: They typically give the kids crayons and a kids menu to color on. My kids love the pancakes, bacon/sausage, potatoes and orange juice.“
“We had never been here before, despite living in the area for years and years. We arrived a little after 11 and it wasn’t busy. Our wait time was about 10 minutes for hot sandwiches and an order of soup. I had the peppermill chicken sandwich, which had a deliciously spicy sauce on it, and a side of a pasta salad. The chicken was actually entire breast of chicken- I was expecting sliced lunch meat- so that was a pleasant surprise. The pasta salad was chock full of broccoli and carrots and corn with a creamy sauce. Would definitely recommend this place.“
“You can trust a coffee shop that takes good care of their plants. A HAPPY staghorn fern, ma’am, I’ll be back every week.A cute little shop with good drinks, nice workers, plus beautiful local sundries (soaps & earrings & shirts & art). Plus a punch card!“
“Been here many times for the Sunday brunch between 11am and 3pm I believe. Great price $20.95 for adults and kids are about 1/2 price. It's a combination of Mexican and then American mainly breakfast items along with made to order omelets. Maybe the best apple pie I have had. Very large place and incredibly clean. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the customer service is outstanding“
“Love the yogurt here! It is a little bit expensive but good. The staff who work behind the counters are so nice and helpful however the manager (I am guessing that is what she is since she tells everyone what to do and isn’t working up front) is very rude and does not greet customers but rather gives mean stares. She came out of the back door by the bathroom so fast she almost hit my newborn (I had to jump back) and then she didn’t say anything. On another occasion, she hit my stroller with my newborn with it and again didn’t say sorry and gave very rude stares. If you own this place or a manager you should greet your customers with smiles and hi not the cold shoulder“
“I had Honto Teriyaki cater an event for me. It was for over 40 people. I chose a wide variety of food. It was excellent! Food was hot, tasty, and everyone had seconds. It was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They made sure everything was to my satisfaction. All of my guests loved the food. I have been to this restaurant and eaten there in person a few times. Again food is incredible. The restaurant has a very nice vibe to it. It is very comfortable setting to have dinner with your family. I highly recommend going there for lunch/dinner you will not be disappointed. Craig“
“My wife and I have been going here for years. We have brought lots of friends and family over the years to Trappers. This last time we were there was so disgusting that we were going to walk out. the iced tea was so weak that it looked like dirty water that you could see through. We ordered our normal. We were sitting in the bar and could see the counter when the food was placed there. It set there for 12 minutes before our server brought it to us. Off and on for the whole 12 minutes the door greeter kept going over and leaning over and running his hands through his hair over our food. When they finally brought it to us we asked for a manager. We were not going to eat this after watching what happened. She was a young girl with attitude. She never said sorry for what had happened. After a few minutes with talking with her she offered to remake our dinner and give us a discount. We accepted and the food was just okay. We did not pay for the iced tea and we just drink water. It will probably be a long time before we come back after our experience.“
“DEFINITELY not authentic Japanese. Not even close. That being said, my family and I do enjoy the food here. The price is reasonable and the portions are tremendous. I only took one star away due to the claim of it being authentic Japanese when it's Americanized cuisine.“
“Update 11/04/2020:Ok, completely different experience this time. Service was awesome. Plenty of staff and they were right there before you even had to ask for anything. Food was delicious as usual. Really great job guys! Recommended10/25/2020 update:. So sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!! Everything was slow. No one came to our table after we were seated for 5min. Early fries showed up after our entrees. Napkins came after I was completely done with my meal. Food is good and prices are good. Staff is nice, just not very good. SorryRestaurant is on the smaller side for a Red Robin but decent. Staff is friendly. The hostess stand is right in front of the outside door so there are always traffic jams coming in/leaving. Food is good and wait times are pretty average. Not a bad joint overall.“
“It was a very quiet and relaxing night when we were there. Customer service was very excellent, and the waiter would come by our table often to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything else. Food was great as always.Kid-friendliness: Kids will have their own menu to choose food from (ex. Tempura roll, chicken teriyaki), booster seats if needed. Also, crayons to do some activities on the menu.“
“Super friendly folks. Tuesdays are the days that it's super busy, but it doesn't take too long to get your order. It's nice to have the abilities to order ahead and skip the wait.Parking: This.store is located in the Bethal Station. Large parking areaKid-friendliness: Nothing ever inappropriateWheelchair accessibility: Parking is available. Sidewalks accommodate wheelchairs and store is located on the street/parking lot level“
“Fun place fantastic staff, great serviceSuper Bowl Sunday! My friends flew in from Las Vegas, Nv. for several days. It happened to be over Super Bowl Sunday... Obviously Las Vegas is a hard act to follow but the Bartender at the Spar Pole did one hell of a job! Especially with Pool League going on during the game.. ??To the Bartender and the staff on Super Bowl Sunday. My friends and I enjoyed ourselfs very much.“
“I'm not a huge coffee drinker but my 10 yr old loves this place for the smoothies. The baristas are always friendly and give great recommendations. The stand itself is super clean and you can tell it's very hygienic and never have to worry about sanitation snafus. Although it's just a drive up coffee stand, you can tell the baristas love what they do. I can totally appreciate that. 10/10 would recommend, I love supporting local businesses.“
“Our go-to when we are in downtown Puyallup. I'm giving service 2 stars. We were the only two dinners in the place. The waitress should rethink her career choices. I sat and watched her write our order down. Yet, she forgot a side of bacon for my wife. Orange juice for me, and we had to ask twice for silverware. Once before our food came and once before. The place is small. You have to go outside to change your mind. She kept disappearing out of sight. That makes it difficult to ask for things she kept forgetting. By the time we got silverware, our food food was cold. I'm not paying $60 for a cold breakfast. I'll be looking for another restaurant for our Puyallup visits. What happened to taking pride on doing a good job?“
“Food was absolutely delicious and would definitely would try again! This place is perfect if you like to try new flavors. I understand a few problems like the nats by the garbage or lack of decoration because they just recently moved into this location. Other than that the service is amazing extremely fast paced and friendly workers.“
“It was easy to order online for pick up, but I was disappointed that my pan pizza crust didn’t seem as buttery-crispy on the bottom like it used to. Maybe it’s been so long since I’ve ordered pan crust that it’s changed without me realizing it.“
“The food is excellent but what impressed me most was the service. The waitress was very attentive all through our meal. Definitely go for the food, but be pampered by the service!Parking: If dining after 6pm, go to the bank parking lot 1 block West. On street parking is challenging most of the time“
“1st generation ran, true italian food... their lasagne is the best I've ever had, ANYWHERE!!! The rest of their menu is amazazing as well... Fresh in house bread served when you first sat down and more if you ask with your meal... My Friday night go to for Lasagne, Caesar Salad, homemade bread and a red blend wine... Can't beat it if you're in the mood for true Italian!!!“
