“I've been looking for a good teriyaki place since moving to Tacoma, and I think this is it. Really tasty spicy chicken teriyaki, it's nice and hot, and there's little bits of onion sprinkled in there. Has a nice atmosphere, it was clearly recently remodeled, and has a lovely mural on the walls, with plenty of seating. Very friendly service, and it's conveniently located right near a streetcar stop.“

“My mom is a really picky eater (like 8/10 picky) but I brought her here and ordered her the sumo chicken dupbap and she was taking pictures and couldn’t say enough good things about it. She was asking me about the sauce & the pickled radish, it was so cute. 10/10 would recommend.“

“Probably the best chicken pho I've had in Washington state. The soup base tasted like legit homemade stock. Chicken and toppings tasted fresh.
My partner got the teriyaki/orange chicken. It wasn't the best but it was still a good plate of food with salad, too. I'd go back.“

“The menu here is large and varied! So many options, including baked rolls. The shrimp tempura in the Lucky Cat roll was delicious - I recommend it. Also get the sushi dip, it comes with fried crispy wonton chips and jalapeno sauce! Everything was nice and fresh. Beautiful presentation. Portions are generous and prices are agreeable. Friendly service in a nice and clean environment. I definitely recommend!“

“Stopped by for a weekend dinner with family. Pleasantly surprised by the variety of menus and friendly staff. All the food was generous portions and also tasty. All meat dishes were cooked right without overcooking and dryness. The sauteed Chinese menu had the unique wok cooked open flame taste. Highly recommend for a quick dine out option.“

“Service: Easy to order online through DoorDash. Was able to pick up order within 30 min of ordering. Little reaction with the staff when picking up the order
Food: ordered pad see ew and was very disappointed as I was craving for pad see ew and decided to try somewhere new. Unfortunately it was bland Some of the noodles were dry. The worst pad see ew I’ve eaten sad to say (Price $14) Spring rolls were good Price $7. Taro bubble tea with tapioca was my favorite price $6.“

“Fantastic quality of teriyaki, sushi, and soup; quite literally some of the best teriyaki we've had in Tacoma and elsewhere. Staff is extremely polite and provides fast and accurate service. The atmosphere is very calm and pretty, and the bathroom was clean and very nice. Will be visiting here constantly!

“I’ve been coming to this location for over 30 years. I haven’t been for a few years and my kid was really craving teriyaki so we made the drive to Puyallup for a little nostalgia.
I don’t think this place is managed by the same people. The place looks pretty much the same but possibly under new management.
The older woman who worked here for many years was not here. I didn’t recognize any of the usual staff. There is another woman behind the counter tonight. She was busy getting things done. She is loud and capable, but could rub people the wrong way. She means well, but I think things get lost in translation. For example this evening a customer ordered food through DoorDash and came to pick it up. The woman behind the counter tried to tell the customer it would be $20 cheaper to order through the store directly instead of paying for in-store pickup through DoorDash. The woman behind the counter came across loud and bossy. The customer left upset and obviously confused. The woman behind the counter said she just wanted her customers to not pay extra money.
The food tonight is different than it had been all the years I’ve known this place too. Everything is saucy, even the teriyaki. Still has a good taste and good sized portions, just different. The woman behind the counter was juggling online orders, phone orders, walk-in orders and table service. Our drinks were refilled twice and our food came out quick and hot. Bathrooms were clean, restaurant was clean.
Tonight is Thursday and there was a lot of business there.“

“Their house fried rice is the bomb! Teriaki is also fabulous. I am trying something different this evening. Kung pao chicken. So we will see how great this is? The place is very clean and the owners seem like they are always there. It's Christmas and I saw that they were open, sooo, I ordered again. I will let you know how the Kung pao chicken went 😋.“
