“This was our first time going to Kim’s. We went for lunch midweek. The restaurant was full. The staff member was polite and professional. The food came out fresh and hot and tasted great! We ordered teriyaki, broccoli & grilled chicken and gyoza dishes. We received free soda with every meal. The restaurant is clean. They also received an EXCELLENT food and safety rating from the Dept of Public Health! This may be our new teriyaki place!“

“I tried this place for the first time today. Ordered spicy chicken teriyaki. I didn't like how they put onions and carrots mixed with the chicken. They also didn't give teriyaki sauce to put on your rice. The food was just alright, for what I spent ($15) There's plenty of better teriyaki places in Kent.“

“I tried Musashi for the first time and it was alright! I got a chirashi bowl which ran to $20 after taxes. It was a pretty small bowl but it was decent. It wasn’t the best chirashi bowl I’ve ever had nor would I come back here for it. It was nice to try a new restaurant but it wasn’t anything too crazy or extraordinary. There are about only 4 tables inside so it’s definitely not like a “dine-in” restaurant. The majority of their orders are to-go’s. It was a bit difficult to locate the restaurant as it’s clumped with the apartments.“

“Absolutely amazing, hands down the best sushi we have had. This is a one man operation and honestly, I don’t know how he does it. All of the fish is flown in from all over the world and is the absolute best top notch quality. Follow his IG to see when reservations drop. You’ll have to book a couple weeks out but it’s worth the wait! You’ll preorder your food while making a reservation as well.

Other notes: pretty easy to find street parking in this area of Kent, we’ve never had an issue. Enter right at your reservation time, no earlier. It’s an intimate space best for couples and small groups.“

“We just flew into SeaTac from Texas. We decided we wanted some Asian food and I looked for a spot that was on the way to our AirBnB. Saw this one and the reviews were a bit mixed, but overall it looked good and had a decent overall rating. Service was quick, the food was hot, the kids loved it (major win), and the egg rolls might be some of the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant leaves a bit to be desired as far as ambiance and atmosphere, but we all very much enjoyed our food (chicken teriyaki, sweet and sour chicken, chicken katsu, and egg rolls).“

“Been going here since i was in second grade, so roughly almost 20 years. My family used to have a shop in the shopping center, so my cousin and i (Tony and David) used to walk over and eat almost every week after school.

Get the Chicken Katsu. I kid you not, it’s the best Katsu i’ve ever had. Out of all the teriyaki joints in the area, hands down, they make it best. It’s crispy, crunchy, tender and just the right amount of chew! Paired with rice, salad and their katsu sauce. You won’t get none of that dry, soggy and fall off breading like you do at other places.

Also, if you’re not a fried food fan, their Chicken Teriyaki is delicious! Classic, tender, moist chicken with rice. My #2 next to Chicken Katsu.

“I love this teriyaki place. It is by far the best around and I’ve been to plenty of teriyaki restaurants. The food is always good and consistent. Same goes for the service. It’s very quick and the owner is great. My favorite thing is the teriyaki sauce which is made in house according to the owner. Will definitely be coming back for more delicious teriyaki.“

“I visited this restaurant with my family and we had such an amazing experience. We ordered the Kent Roll, the Chili Wave Roll, and the Dragon Roll, and every single one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. We also tried the beef bulgogi and tteokbokki, and they were honestly the best I have ever had. The beef was perfectly marinated and tender, and the tteokbokki had just the right amount of spice and richness. On top of the delicious food, the portions were very generous, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the entire restaurant was spotless and inviting. “This is my go to place to eat teriyaki! I love the owners ( women at the counter) they are always so kind and call me by name when I call or come in! Would recommend! It isn’t the ritziest of places but the price of the food makes up for it!!“

“We had a great experience at Saigon Pho and Grill. The young lady managing orders and hosting was incredibly pleasant and professional—her customer service made us feel right at home.

We actually came here on the recommendation of an employee at the See’s Candies shop nearby, which says a lot. It’s always great to see local businesses supporting each other—and she was right, this place did not disappoint!

We ordered the pho, vermicelli, and their signature fried rice. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. You can really see and taste the attention to detail.
