“Excellent food. Truly excellent in all the small ways that are forgotten at other places. Salads are perfectly executed — balance of textures, flavors, dressed just right. The pizzas are also perfectly balanced. It’s a real fine attention to detail we weren’t expecting but are so glad to find.“

“Needed to pick up the order right when the store opened, and it was ready which really helped us be timely to our event. The Cowboy pizza baked up perfect! When we baked the Chicken Artichoke the pizza dough was so stuck to the paper pan it comes on, wouldn't slide it onto the oven rack as directions indicated. Had to bake it another 10 minutes. We wondered if the type of ingredients mad eth dough soggy on the raw pizza dough, or if it sat too long before pickup?

Parking: The store is in a very busy shopping center area with lots of other retail business's, and on top of that the Sunday Farmer's market in the parking lot, that was PACKED. Parking was a real challenge on that Sunday afternoon.“

“It was a nice place, clean and big. It can get very crowded and busy if it is a weekend afternoon specially. The only thing is on the day we visited the place there was only one person servicing a huge line and unfortunately the person was super slow or maybe stressed until the second person came and started helping.

They have a lot of options for items to build your Pizza the way you want it. We tried different ones and the kids loved it. I really liked that they had cauliflower crust as it was yummy and filling with no guilt of eating pizza.
You have the option of having beer and light drinks. As far as Salads I tried their Caesar salad and dressing was really tasting like fish which was ok. I just don't like my Caesar salad to taste like seafood. Overall I would recommend them. Enjoy your visit.“

I get the beef gyro plate each time I come, and it hits every single time. Everything pairs perfectly together—it’s a flavor explosion 🤭

It’s mainly a takeout spot, but there is a small covered area where you can eat, along with a couple of benches outside. It might be a little cold right now, but it’s a decent setup once the weather warms up. I already look forward to the next time I’ll be back for it again!! 10/10 recommend!“

They grabbed me with the deep dish style pizza. i started following their Instagram so i could see what was going on. over the last few years i would order a pizza from them when in the area… a few special trips just because. Now just recently I started seeing Tavern Style pizza show up on the instagram. Started with photos from other places and then Windy City pie puts tavern on their menu! i wanted to try it since it became available and finally decided to make it part of my pre game for a saturday Mariners game. if thin crisp crust is not your thing then stick with the deep dish! it continues to amaze! If you like the thin crisp pizza try the tavern. it is not just any pizza it is special. the crust is thin uniform and crisp through out the pizza. the toppings are high quality and the sauce is something out of this world! I ate about half and took the rest home to share with my wife. thought i would be able to share our reheat but it didn’t get past the cold pizza phase… this has to be the very best cold pizza i can remember! So good we didn’t take the time to heat back up we just downed it! Check them out! really great pizza on 2 ends of the pizza spectrum!“

“Our family Friday dinner is always Pizza. Tonight, for the first time we tried Smoking Monkey Pizza in Seattle. It's in a Magnolia neighborhood and it's definitely worth the drive from Shoreline. The Pepperoni Pizza was awesome. The crust thin and not to crisp and not too soft. The Mozzarella Cheese sticks are sensational. I was told that they are made in house. They are a rectangular shape and the only complaint is that we only ordered one order. Next time two for certain. Garlic chicken wings. Seriously. So good. Good sized and the garlic flavor is so good. Thankful that we ordered a large order! Also ordered the chicken sandwich that comes with fries. Served on a soft Hoagie roll it had great flavor. Fries were hot and crispy. House salad too and it was fresh and had great flavor. The Balsamic Dressing was really good. The service. Super friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is really cool. If you haven't been to Smoking Monkey I highly recommend it. As do my 3 kids. 10 out of 10 Lots of variety on the menu and everything is done really well! Smoking Monkey in Seattle is now a family favorite!!! Check them out!“

“I am very picky about pizzas and I cannot stand doughy pizzas. Took a chance on Managers out of a sudden whim for pizzas. Ordered the large achari pizza and the chicken tikka small size pizza. Chicken tikka was good, it wasn't too cheesy and felt balanced. There was enough chicken but my favorite of the night is definitely the achari pizza. I will definitely try this place again if I am in the mood for pizza. I'll say their thing crust while thin isn't quite what I want the thin crust to be but that's just me nitpicking.

“The restaurant's neighborhood atmosphere is reminiscent of a classic sitcom setting. The kitchen staff, primarily young employees, demonstrates strong teamwork and communication. Our order was accurately fulfilled; however, condiments should be proactively offered, and perhaps bread could be sliced thinner. I do feel it's a bit pricey for what the menu offers. The salad was completely bruised, there was barely any dressing on it, but it was a fifteen-dollar salad without any meat or cheese. They should probably put some time into developing an actual appetizer menu because the $15 salad was not justified. Beverage refills would also enhance the dining experience, so a few misses on standard serving practices. The food was alright, particularly the tiramisu was the best part of the dinner, it was among the best I've encountered in the PNW. We plan to return.“

Our server Lucas was fantastic and did an amazing job helping us make a great selection of pizzas to share for our party of 3. He was very attentive and took extra time and care, assuring every attention to detail. Our food was clearly made with love and had a rustic, approachable, authentic flavors that were unique and mouthwatering. They even had ICE cold N/A Peroni which was the icing on the cake!!! I said to myself, “self, what will we do to satiate this desire for fuel in the form of lunch?” And then it hit me. Pizza. But not JUST pizza… wood fired pizza hand crafted by lovely souls in a beautiful community by the water. Providentially, I was led to DUDEZ Wood fired Pizza at Portage Bay. We ordered four pizzas from a kind gentleman and in a timely manner, they were hand delivered to our table. Truly service with a smile. We dined like nobility this day. After a 5 and a half hour drive home, it already feels like nostalgia, the kind of memory that you look back with a longing to experience it for the first time all over again. Much like your first bowl of ice cream! The team was incredible, the food was exceptional, the atmosphere was compelling, comfortable and family friendly. After today, I am more sure than ever that I was born in this time of human history for a reason: to dine upon DUDEZ wood fired pizza. Thank you Johnny, Gabe and the DUDEZ and DUDEZ…. “Many places have happy hour food and some places have food to accompany happy hour. This place has a great happy hour food menu, and a party of four can be satisfied by ordering from the menu and enjoying a couple of drinks. I don't ever feel like I need to grab a bite from the food trucks nearby, and think more about their small bites than their drinks.

It says taproom as they have a great selection of beverages, but if you are the type that wants to also eat something that isn't chicken tenders and fries... the Trailbend Taproom might land on your rotation soon.“
