“Many choices in the area to eat - and drink - yet this is my ‘go to’ place when traveling in a town that has a Nordstrom store.
Excellent food - have tried almost all the items on the menu - and never have been disappointed! ?

“Was very excited to see a tapas restaurant open so close to me and even more excited when I discovered how delicious it is! The mocktail selection is KILLER and changes regularly enough to keep it interesting. As for the food, we typically get almost the entire menu, very easy to split between two folks. Normally, I am very unfond of mushrooms but the hongos are easily one of my favorite dishes on the menu. To finish things up I highly recommend their cheesecake, which isn’t in the traditional style but it’s light and fluffy and freaking delicious!“

“If you’re near Woodenville, Washington definitely make plans to stop at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothel, Washington. It’s a former school tranformed into a unique Hotel Complex. There’s a movie theater, swimming pool, tiki lounge, restaurant, sports bar (the woodshed), a whisky shed and gift shop. Elanha was the hostess for the Woodshed and she spoiled us from the time we arrive until we left. Her Customer Service was Outstanding!! An Amazing, Fun Stay!!! You Won’t be Disappointed!! The Anderson School Location is also near Wine Tasting Country:) Have Fun!!“

“My Father's Day Surprise was a visit to Arleana's Restaurant in Kirkland, Washington. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was very good, especially the jerk syrup was was delicious. And I am very picky about jerk seasoning. The Bloody Mary had a unique flavor. It was not my traditional BM. But it was surprisingly great. It's quite a drive for me. But I will return for the selection of food, drink and ambiance. This was a great dining experience.“

“As a couple who travels often, in every city we go to, we love to find our favorite Thai food restaurant, and we have to say, Soi could definitely be it! Although we went an hour before closing, the service was amazing (very friendly!). We ordered appetizers (Spring Rolls), three dinner plates (Fried Rice with Chicken, Fried Rice with Crab and the Tom Kha Soup) and for dessert, Thai Donuts with the custard. Everything came quickly, fresh and all plated very well. All of our dishes were delicious! We would 100% dine in again while we're in the Seattle area... 10/10 recommend. “Used to go here years and years ago, and it was lovely. Our oldest kid was little and was so delighted by the truffle popcorn and the tomato cappuccino soup with grilled cheese. Years later, our daughter is now 23 and we called Oliver’s to buy her a gift for her birthday. Chai was so sweet and helpful! Our daughter ultimately decided to go elsewhere bc of the change in the menu (much less veg options). Despite this, we were so impressed with Chai and how kind and accommodating he was! To the owners: give Chai a raise and bring back the tomato cappuccino soup!“

Service was top notch. We tried 5 different dishes; the pork belly, chicken thigh karaage, and also the spicy mushroom dip were excellent. They also have a very thorough and well appointed cocktail and whiskey menu.

The restaurant ambiance was perfect for a date night. Consider making reservations; we had to book about a week out to get the time we wanted.

“I've come here twice and both times, this place was a hit with two separate friend groups. The dishes we tried were a brisket burger, buffalo chicken sliders, cilantro lime salad, and their street tacos - all were amazing and cooked to perfection! I highly recommend the Strawberry Basil mocktail (it's super refreshing) and their blueberry cheesecake.

This is a great location w/ a lot of parking around it, a great outdoor sitting area, fair prices and friendly staff. Fingers crossed they will extend their lunch hours throughout the week =)“

The train is RIGHT THERE at times, a little noisy for a few minutes at a time, but no big deal if you're patient. There's a wide variety on the menu, something for all tastes. And the bartender made an exemplary Martini, to boot. Demitri's will be in our regular rotation for a meal out.“

“There's NOTHING friendly about this place. I will not play the race card, HOWEVER, I did record a video. The server who served us left and the next shift bartender came. This guy did NOT acknowledge me until I asked for a napkin. The video is almost 6 minutes long and he so much did not say hello. The queso was so "watery" that it dripped on me and the bar. Appetizer plates were not even brought to us. No one checked on how the food was or drink. Poor service. Unfortunately, in this day and time this type of service is accepted and tolerated.“

“I travel a lot and will look for highly rated places to have lunch/ dinner when I want to get out of my Air BnB for a bit. I usually don’t eat Americanized Chinese food b it’s often fried and oily. They just happened to be near the park I was going to hike in and got decent ratings. DO NOT regret it one bit! They accommodated extra vegetables and light sauce, cooked the vegetables perfectly! And offered a house chili sauce. It was so yummy! The atmosphere is a bit bar like, but I read in one of their responses to a review that that was point. They are looking to be unique, and that’s exactly what I look for! Loved the experience! Also noticed there were a lot of locals, which is a testament to their popularity. I’m walking back over for my dinner for the rest of the week!“
