“Wow, the food and drinks here are 5 stars! My husband and I had limited expectations, and we were both super impressed. We started with some delicious cocktails--they had interesting concoctions with better-than-usual liquors. Delish! His hamburger came truly medium-rare, with avocado, cheese and bacon, and the meat flavor was excellent--so many restaurant hamburgers are ruined with poor quality meat. The straw fries were great, served with an amazing aioli that also made the hamburger pop! I ordered the salade nicoise, and it may be the best one I've ever eaten (and I make amazing salads, if I do say so myself). ;) The service was excellent and timely. The ambiance is fine--you're eating in a department store, so the music was pop-y and the decor fine. We appreciated having a booth (which my husband loves). We will definitely come back just to eat again one day!“

“If you’re near Woodenville, Washington definitely make plans to stop at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothel, Washington. It’s a former school tranformed into a unique Hotel Complex. There’s a movie theater, swimming pool, tiki lounge, restaurant, sports bar (the woodshed), a whisky shed and gift shop. Elanha was the hostess for the Woodshed and she spoiled us from the time we arrive until we left. Her Customer Service was Outstanding!! An Amazing, Fun Stay!!! You Won’t be Disappointed!! The Anderson School Location is also near Wine Tasting Country:) Have Fun!!“

“Stumbled into this neighborhood spot for predinner drinks and was so impressed with the drinks and staff.

Benji helped us out and made us feel so welcomed and it was like talking to an old friend without missing a beat. My favorite drink for the night was the il duce, a nutmeg margarita that marries mezcal and tequila with nutmeg. Their daiquiri and negroni are also a great way to start your evening.

“I've come here twice and both times, this place was a hit with two separate friend groups. The dishes we tried were a brisket burger, buffalo chicken sliders, cilantro lime salad, and their street tacos - all were amazing and cooked to perfection! I highly recommend the Strawberry Basil mocktail (it's super refreshing) and their blueberry cheesecake.

“Hey it's Sky, we went to the Baranof restaurant and bar around 1130-12. Showed up on karaoke night. Seems like a fun crowd!! Got a vodka cran, a big wave beer and a decent sized basket of fries, that were crinkle cut to me and my partners suprise. Pretty nice place after a night of arcade games and walking around enjoying the sights. Pull tabs as well as some entertainment :) I suggest it!“

I watched a customer ask a simple question and he just got a blunt No and awkwardly walked off, I also got ignored when I tried to ask if a drink was mine. I just wish these employees would chill out just a little bit? It’s a hit or miss at this place, most of the people there are cool.“

This guy did NOT acknowledge me until I asked for a napkin. The video is almost 6 minutes long and he so much did not say hello. The queso was so "watery" that it dripped on me and the bar. Appetizer plates were not even brought to us. No one checked on how the food was or drink. Poor service. Unfortunately, in this day and time this type of service is accepted and tolerated.“
