“#mylocalseattlehangout It’s important for me to feel at home somewhere, regardless of where I am… to call it my favorite “go-to”. (My home-base is Maryland). These guys really bring some comfort to my stay at Mercer Island. Thank you Jason, for creating a “Crawlspace” for this weary traveler/healthcare worker. I found a place where I can just relax every week (maybe twice a week), and help with some of my homesickness. The food always hits the spot, no matter what I’ve ordered. And the drinks… good stuff!!! My favorites are the spam musibi, the seared ahi, and the japchae with bulgogi! They even have their jokes for me already, and know that I don’t like spicy. “I went to Homegrown yesterday and, as always, had a great experience. The staff were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed.
Their food is always fresh and delicious — you can really taste the quality in every bite. I especially love their matcha chicken salad. It's one of my favorite spots for a healthy and tasty breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend! 🌿🥪✨“

“Scrumptious food! Fresh ingredients, well prepared without too much oil. They were super busy when I arrived, and my food was still prepared quickly. Everything is Halal, so you know that the animals were treated humanely. There are also vegan options. Everything was divine, I was happily surprised to find a new twist on some of my favorites. “Visiting Washington and on our Seattle day wanted sushi. Looked at a ton of places on line and saw this set away from downtown with great reviews, gave it a shot.

This was one of the better meals I’ve ever had, happy hour gets you a $1.50 off select items and drinks.

Got the fried pork gyoza (amazing)
Garlic green beans (best I’ve ever had)
Chicken karage (excellent, really good sauce)
A lemon salmon roll (can’t remember the name, but also incredible)

Nice people too.I went ten minutes before closing, and some of the popular items like terriyaki chicken, salmon, or mac n cheese was out, but there was still enough variety of good food to choose from. I love evergreens. Docked a star because this spot is a walk up window that only takes online orders. Wish I would’ve known that before walking to it! The QR code outside of the restaurant didn’t work and the staff there didn’t even know what location/address they were at (I needed to select it for the online order).

Food was exactly as expected for evergreens. Tastes like any other evergreens I’ve been to. Just be warned about needing to order ahead.“

“I went in here for the first time today. Their associate was super helpful as soon as I walked in! I think it was Insley. I’m a vegan and they let me know everything that could be made vegan. I ended up getting the chicken and hummus wrap which they turned vegan for me with tofu. It was so freaking yummy! I definitely wanna come here again. Super good food, and nice peeps!“

“My husband and I moved to the neighborhood in 2024 and immediately adopted this place as our spot. The pastries are delicious and unique the drinks are also fantastic! As a former barista, I am REALLY particular about my coffee and the Cafe Dulzura crew delivers. The ambiance is also so cozy and cheerful. We've been coming weekly and will definitely continue.“

“Traveling for work and wanted a good pizza (not a chain restaurant) found Z's using Google Maps recommendations and I was not disappointed! I am vegan/vegetarian and prefer a white sauce pizza. They helped with recommendations and I built my own pizza aim with Rancy sauce, Mozzarella & Asiago cheese, jalapeno, fresh mushrooms and olives. My pizza was made and cooked to perfection! It looked just like a magazine photo and tasted delicious! One of the best pizza's I e ever tasted. I score Z's Pizza a 10 out of 10! Highly recommend“

“There’s so much I appreciate about this place. The pizza is delicious - some of the best counter service by the slice pizza in the city. The owner and the employees are super nice, and they’re often the only spot still open in the neighborhood.“

I opted for just the Cheesecake as the neighborhood looked a little sketchy to be waiting around cluelessly. Mama was so sweet and endearing she gave me sambusas too. “Sultan Gyros is amazing. They are always chill, friendly dudes, the food is fire, and the prices aren't terrible.

I wish I still lived down the street but weve made the 1hr+ drive a couple times. We have been trying to find a replacement but nothing compares.

At this point we have wasted so much money on mediocre greek/Arabic restaurants just to be disappointed! 😂😂😂“

Service is excellent, house salad was very good, dressing was perfect, and nicely dressed. Chicken Pot Pie, even better. Everyone is treated like a regular and with total respect. “Surprising unexpected delight by the side of a busy road with not a lot of foot traffic between Swedish Hospital and Virginia Mason! I think more could be done with the decor, and it was understaffed, but the food was AMAZING! I can see why it is so highly rated - the meat is perfectly bribed or seasoned or whatever magic they do to make it tender and infused with flavor throughout. We had the Gyro plate and the Beef Shwarma plate along with the Baba Ganoush - each was excellent in their own way, and the garlic dressing in the accompanying salads is to kill for. “I’ve been to at least 50 different coffee shops in Seattle, this is the best all around. Amazing coffee, amazing people, amazing seating options, so cozy and warm and wonderful. Just delightful all around. Never had a bad experience and I’m here every weekend now.

“Today was our first time visiting Seattle and we were craving some Indian food. Taste of Indian did NOT disappoint me. The Tikka masala and naan were phenomenal. The service was also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. I was given a complimentary refill of my reisling and they also give you a little slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. Whether you are going for a date night or a family meal, this place is a perfect option. If we are ever visiting Seattle again, we will be returning to this spot!“

“Deli Queen may be a deli in downtown Bellevue, but the quality and flavor easily rival many full-service restaurants. The food is consistently delicious and made with great attention to detail.
