“#mylocalseattlehangout It’s important for me to feel at home somewhere, regardless of where I am… to call it my favorite “go-to”. (My home-base is Maryland). These guys really bring some comfort to my stay at Mercer Island. Thank you Jason, for creating a “Crawlspace” for this weary traveler/healthcare worker. I found a place where I can just relax every week (maybe twice a week), and help with some of my homesickness. The food always hits the spot, no matter what I’ve ordered. And the drinks… good stuff!!! My favorites are the spam musibi, the seared ahi, and the japchae with bulgogi! They even have their jokes for me already, and know that I don’t like spicy. “I went to Homegrown yesterday and, as always, had a great experience. The staff were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed.
Their food is always fresh and delicious — you can really taste the quality in every bite. I especially love their matcha chicken salad. It's one of my favorite spots for a healthy and tasty breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend! 🌿🥪✨“

“The atmosphere is superb! I love the heathy option. Remember your input matters. You cannot expect same output (outcome) when you are putting bad inputs. Self-care by eating healthy food option. This is a place for those who take their body seriously. The staffs tend to be busy but it is worth the wait. I can see that they really do care about the food and its service. Btw I even saw @spencerhawes NBA player order here. Which means foods are good here. Sport players know what tastes good! Come and taste!“

“Scrumptious food! Fresh ingredients, well prepared without too much oil. They were super busy when I arrived, and my food was still prepared quickly. Everything is Halal, so you know that the animals were treated humanely. There are also vegan options. Everything was divine, I was happily surprised to find a new twist on some of my favorites. Also, the place is really clean.“

“Visiting Washington and on our Seattle day wanted sushi. Looked at a ton of places on line and saw this set away from downtown with great reviews, gave it a shot.

This was one of the better meals I’ve ever had, happy hour gets you a $1.50 off select items and drinks.

Got the fried pork gyoza (amazing)
Garlic green beans (best I’ve ever had)
Chicken karage (excellent, really good sauce)
A lemon salmon roll (can’t remember the name, but also incredible)

“Takeout with a lot of delicious options. Great price (it's simply priced by weight). Nice people too.I went ten minutes before closing, and some of the popular items like terriyaki chicken, salmon, or mac n cheese was out, but there was still enough variety of good food to choose from. “The food was amazing! We started with the garlic breadsticks and they were so good. Perfect amount of garlic and parmesan. Came with marinara and ranch. We then had the orecchiette pasta and the rigatoni bolognese. Both were so good! Neither were heavy. We ended with the lemon budino. It was a nice perfectly tart dessert to end the meal. The kids had the chocolate chip cookies and they were also great! There is a little salt sprinkle on top. The service was outstanding! We would definitely come back if we find ourselves in this area again!“

“I’ve dined in as well as ordered takeout, and I think takeout is the better option here since their service is quite slow. It’s best to order ahead of time and pick it up. The food itself is great, I especially love their Vegan Banh Mi sandwich“

“Pizza was great. It's like a pizza from New York but slightly more sauce. Love it. Crush is really good and not chewy. I'm so sad I didn't discover this place sooner. An hour before they close they don't take new orders, they just sell what they have left so they can seamlessly close the store on time. So order ahead or arrive earlier than an hour before close.“

“I went there randomly. Knocked at the door and Auntie came by, and told me everything's gonna take some time. I opted for just the Cheesecake as the neighborhood looked a little sketchy to be waiting around cluelessly. Mama was so sweet and endearing she gave me sambusas too. “Basically an expensive Subway. The whole experience here was expensive with no real reason to be. First, the service… there was none. You’re supposed to order from a tablet on the front counter. The staff was frustrated that I dare ask how to order. Then they didn’t know how to answer questions about the menu. And then the menu asked how big of a tip to leave! The atmosphere… it’s located inside the giant food hall in the mall. It ended up being really loud, but at least they had their own seating area with cool modern chairs. Finally, the food… actually pretty good. I had the steak sandwich and it was delicious, even if the goat cheese was too tart for the overall dish. Would I eat here again? Maybe I’d order takeout, but yes. It was tasty and a good lunch.“

“Embarque is located in the N gate area of Seatac. We came for a drink after breakfast. One of the bartenders provided us good service & had good follow-up to see if we were enjoying our drinks.

I had the PNW sour, he warned me it had some egg whites (the froth on the cocktail) which I personally didnt mind or think much of. This place was a little less crowded than the others in the terminal and they seemed pretty prompt in getting their customers waited on and with what they need.“

“Adorable coffee spot tucked away in Burien. We ordered a couple of the specialty drinks, the Dulzura Latte and Dulce de Leche Latte, both were the perfect amount of sweetness. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. As mentioned by others, parking is a bit tricky. The easiest parking is behind the building, there isn’t street parking nearby.“

“We went there by a friend recommendation and I couldn’t believe we just discovered this place. All their pizzas are freshly baked. I especially like their Indian style pizza. Best in the town. The place is not that big. Only couple tables to dine in. It does take about 20mins for pizza to be ready. I would order early if you don’t want to wait there.
The owner is super nice and helpful. My kid fell asleep while we were eating there. He was very patient with us and offered to heat up the pizza when he saw my son woke up.

“An excellent place to celebrate! My husband took me here as a surprise for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Matthew was an excellent server-prompt, knowledgeable and polite. The food was fantastic, the drinks phenomenal and they really know how to make birthdays special without being over the top about it. We will be back and requesting Matthew as a server soon! “Surprising unexpected delight by the side of a busy road with not a lot of foot traffic between Swedish Hospital and Virginia Mason! I think more could be done with the decor, and it was understaffed, but the food was AMAZING! I can see why it is so highly rated - the meat is perfectly bribed or seasoned or whatever magic they do to make it tender and infused with flavor throughout. We had the Gyro plate and the Beef Shwarma plate along with the Baba Ganoush - each was excellent in their own way, and the garlic dressing in the accompanying salads is to kill for. Will come again!“

“Really great little local family restaurant! We found it near our Airbnb on a recent trip and tried it. The space itself is unremarkable and small, but clean and friendly. The staff were great and there was a constant flow of folks picking up to go orders and staff running out to deliver orders. I know why - the food was excellent!“

“I’ve been to at least 50 different coffee shops in Seattle, this is the best all around. Amazing coffee, amazing people, amazing seating options, so cozy and warm and wonderful. Just delightful all around. Never had a bad experience and I’m here every weekend now.
