“Service was quick and friendly. The manager was knowledgeable about a wide variety of local craft beers and even provided recommendations for brews they don’t currently carry. Ordered the Hurricane Pizza (veggie) for takeout, pizza was very good.“

“The food and setting are good, but not exceptional. I’m happy I tried Autumn, but there is a reason no one talks about it. For the price point, I would expect to be wowed a little more. Certainly nothing wrong with our dishes, but in a city with great food, there are other places that offer more nuance. Also, the open concept kitchen could do with some thoughtful design improvements, the bright lights, white wall and open door into the prep area are a bit jarring and take away from what could be a cozy space.“

“I live in west Seattle where we have a few top quality Italian options. This place is worth driving across town to eat at. The appetizers provide an amazing opening salvo, so don’t skip over them. The entrees are small but top quality. The pasta can’t be beat and finishing with green tea tiramisu is a welcome twist to the old classic. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet. Service is great. This place is on the pricey side but still a good value. I’m looking forward to going back, but reserving this place for special occasions.“

“The food here is absolutely incredible. I’ve been coming for almost a decade and the quality has never changed. The service is incredible, the owners are amazing and charismatic, and the desert port wine selection is fantastic. (Don’t forget the Underberg!) The decor is only a reflection of the flavors in the food and of the stylings of the owners themselves. It’s funny to say but the bathrooms are actually one of my favorite parts of the experience. There is neighborhood parking and a large outdoor patio to enjoy a glass of wine and mingle with strangers as you wait for a table inside as there is only standing room outside which I can imagine is by design as you will see a wide range of folks that go to Bizzarro. The wealthy Wallingford Wilco’s and your regular Seattle weirdos, all coming to enjoy a hidden gem of Seattles culinary scene that has never truly gotten the shine it deserves. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well deserved and earned.Vegetarian options: Ask your server! Very accommodating service.Dietary restrictions: Ask and you shall receive…Parking: Get good! It’s Seattle! Find your street parking! However you could be smart and call a ride or take public transportation for the opportunity for more wine! ?Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed. Can only accommodate up to party’s of 8! Call ahead to see if there is space.Wheelchair accessibility: It is a tight space but you could manage. I recommend calling ahead of time to allow for proper preparation of a table for a better dining experience. Restrooms may require assistance depending upon the severity of the disability.“

“Delicious. Things I didn’t believe that I liked before (lamb, caviar and cherry). I now have an understanding that prepared right they are delicious. You’re not paying for food here. You are paying for a wonderful experience. If you are tired of the same food then you need to step out of your box and come here. You will not be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: There is options for everyone.Parking: I did the valet. Very kind service.“

“What a great place! Tried the pizza and a pasta dish, which were both delicious. Tiramisu for dessert was also great. We went for dinner on Friday, and it was packed (which is always a good sign). Because of the lack of seating, they sat us at the chef's table, which was neat, because we could watch them cook and the line run. Just a note: the seats at the chefs table were pretty uncomfortable (just a small wooden bar stool with no back). It was worth it to me, to be able to watch the chefs cook, but my partner (who is a large man) was very uncomfortable. Overall, a great experience with great food and service!“

“Charming restaurant with great food and excellent service. A perfect spot after enjoying a play at the Taproot Theater. Engaging menu, beautifully prepared, wonderful flavors and textures. Our Server, Tristan Kossack, was outstanding. He smoothly and deftly handled service for the whole restaurant, making it all look effortless and welcoming. He helped us put together a family style meal and his suggestions were spot on. It was an wonderful experience.“

“What a cute restaurant! My friend and I stumbled onto this place by accident and it ended up being just what we needed. It felt like being invited to a neighbor's house for dinner. The place is small and the service is great. We tried the Canary Island style paella, which is a little different than what I'm accustomed to but still delicious. The fish and seafood was cooked to perfection. And we also had the polenta and chicken. The polenta and vegetables were so good, along with the sauces. The chicken wasn't anything special but when mixed with the 3 sauces on the plate was much better. The servers gifted us a small plate of tiramisu, which was so kind. All in all, it was such a lovely experience in sure we will be back. I'm excited to try other plates. Please keep in mind d this isn't strictly italian/french like the description says. The wall has a Amazigh flag on the wall, so go expecting a diverse Mediterranean menu and a family atmosphere.“

“The food and service were amazing! Truly the best Italian food I have ever had. I had a white sauce dish and gluten free pasta and I didn't experience cross contamination from wheat. That was a huge bonus. The restaraunt atmosphere was good for being in a strip mall. I toyed between a 3 and a 4 because the restroom was really gross. And it has low lighting to try to hide how bad it truly is. And only 1 toilet for the whole restaurant?“

“This is honestly the best pasta restaurant. I always get the fettuccine chicken pasta. Comes with a side of huge garlic bread and salad with their homemade feta sauce. The staff is so friendly and sweet. It’s a real mom and pops restaurant. There food has become a comfort food of mine now.“

“It was amazing!! My first time in Seattle and I visited Nolita, what a nice surprise. Food is amazing, products are fresh and good quality, portions are BIG, taste is great I really felt in Italy, wine is so good! But the attention is the best, everyone was so gentle and kind, I could practice my Italian with the owners and they gave me a rose at the end, was a lovely lovely place.“

“Great experience! All of the food was amazing! The avocado toast was very good. I didn’t see anyone mentioning the avocado toast but it really shouldn’t be overlooked. It’s quite good. Also the appetizer potato things are excellent. The mimosa without alcohol is so nice because I rarely see na cocktails on a brunch menu“

“I'm very particular about Italian food. The flavor and consistency of the marinara, the freshness of the bread, the amount of cheese, and the quality of the pasta are all important. Cafe Veloce does it just right for my taste. And they do it with a friendliness that is above and beyond what you'll generally receive elsewhere.“

“We had a meal here for our first time. It was an absolutely wonderful atmosphere and delicious! We ordered a margarita pizza, veggie pizza, eggplant parm, standard pasta and sauce, and more. All of it was fresh and made to perfection. The kids got some gelato and we packed a tiramisu to go- all of which were delicious as well. I highly recommend!“

“We ate here for lunch. An extra large meat lovers pizza was more than enough for three of us. We each had three pieces and took the last three home. The pizza was good but it’s a little small inside. There are only three tables.Parking: There was parking right in front.“

“Food - Loved the pizza. The best thing is that it can be customized to meet your needs. We had Margherita and Spicy Salscissa Pizza. Margherita was not quite as good as Salscissa. The level of service was outstanding. SHOUT OUT TO BRADY!!. He was very thorough in outlining the alternatives and customizing the experience for us. We were a party of six, so we were somewhat noisy, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and tolerant. Brady made sure we had enough room by checking in with us a few times and taking the initiative to pick up the empty plates. Will def go back again“

“My husband and I have enjoyed coming to this restaurant for about 45 years now. I love the cheese raviolis on the senior menu. My husband likes the baked spaghetti They are both a steal for around $12 including their great salad and amazing garlic bread. Occasionally we will have our favorite pizza, number 28. Their wait staff is just the feather in the cap, delightful young folks that seem to love what they're doing.“

“Disappointing that to get additional drinks after being served our meal always seems to be a challenge. 1 drink prior to meal, 1 maybe when meal is served, but anything further you have to flag down wait staff - often not your assigned wait staff to get their attention. It's almost like there is an unspoken 2 drink maximum. This has happened on more than 1 occasion and not with same wait staff. I find this rather odd. Outside of that, we love the place and the food.“

“Delicious Pizza!! They grabbed me with the deep dish style pizza. i started following their Instagram so i could see what was going on. over the last few years i would order a pizza from them when in the area… a few special trips just because. Now just recently I started seeing Tavern Style pizza show up on the instagram. Started with photos from other places and then Windy City pie puts tavern on their menu! i wanted to try it since it became available and finally decided to make it part of my pre game for a saturday Mariners game. if thin crisp crust is not your thing then stick with the deep dish! it continues to amaze! If you like the thin crisp pizza try the tavern. it is not just any pizza it is special. the crust is thin uniform and crisp through out the pizza. the toppings are high quality and the sauce is something out of this world! I ate about half and took the rest home to share with my wife. thought i would be able to share our reheat but it didn’t get past the cold pizza phase… this has to be the very best cold pizza i can remember! So good we didn’t take the time to heat back up we just downed it! Check them out! really great pizza on 2 ends of the pizza spectrum!“

“I was only surprised they were not busier. We had a great time and the pizza seemed authentic based on my most recent trip to Italy and tasted delish. Didn’t like what was on the TVs but really who cares when the food, service and company are great! They should make the TVs play something Italian for ambiance… anyway, it was great!“

“I was raised by Sicilian family in Brooklyn New York. I take seriously my Italian gravy. I received a flyer from Palermo so I decided to check it out. I went and ordered a glass of Chianti and asked for a sample of their base marinara sauce. The owner Ivo without hesitation brought the wine and the sample sauce. After a teaspoon of the gravy I approved. It was sweet, fresh spices and well made. Ivo says he adds Chianti and fresh blended spices and herbs in the sauce… no wonder. I said if this is the base for his pastas and pizza I’ll be a regular. Buon gusto! Pio of Loyal Heights, Seattle“

“First time here. Last Monday. This is the closest us mere mortals will ever come to a perfect Neapolitan pizza. I got a margherita. Plus pepperoni. (Don't judge). Antonio got the "Tony". “I don’t usually eat Italian out because I feel I do a good job at home. This place is way better than I can do. The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.“

“the vibe inside is really homey. the price point is great. I was able to comfortably order a few things to try. I also think the portions were good. the duck ragu was very good. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. “Food is consistently delicious and the service is always great.I do recommend looking closely at your bill however. They have added a mandatory gratuity to the kitchen. Many places do this, my gripe is when tip percentage calculations are provided. They percentages not only include tip on the tax, they include tip on the kitchen tip. Tipping on tips and tax is a bit too much“

“This is a rustic, cozy, family friendly neighborhood gem in the Ravenna/Roosevelt neighborhood. I've personally been going there for over 20 years and I love the authentic food they serve. If you're lucky enough to come on a night the actual owner/chef Salvatore is there you are in for a treat. He's friendly & makes you feel so welcome. It's nice to go with a group so you can try an array of the appetizers, all really excellent but 2 of my favorites that were on the special list, the burrata with prosciutto ...their cute is a tad thicker than how I normally have it but it works well with the rich, creamy burrata drizzled with some good olive oil and topped with some fresh herbs...so good with an order of house Como bread. The seasonal sautéed mushrooms are so good...next time I might just have that for my dinner, so tasty! We were there to celebrate the birthday if a friend who recently unexpectedly passed, and Salvatore brought all 9 of us in our party a bowl of soup that our friend loved. It's a simple chicken broth with a bit of carrots and potatoes & very delicate, moist veal meatballs. Salvatore said it was a dish his mom would make for him if he had a sports meet. It was light & delicious, and you could tell it was made with love. For dinner I usually have the Veal with artichokes and a demi glaze wich comes with a side of simple penne pasta...and I normally can't finish it, good size portions or is it all the appetizers?! Both! We normally order an extra dish for the table like Carbonara so everyone can just have a taste of the rich dish but this time we selected a squid ink pasta dish topped with a rich, creamy sauce & seared scallops. Yummmmmmmm! But glad not to have it as my entire meal, way too heavy for me. At the end of the meal when we were all pretty much stuffed, they brought an order of Profiteroles covered in chocolate and layered with vanilla ice cream with a candle in it, for our dearly departed friend. It was very thoughtful & just the right amount as we passed the dish around and each got a couple of bites...after we sang Happy Birthday of course. Great place to celebrate with friends or family...but hurry, they are closing up shop soon, I don't know the end date!“

“We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and everything went wonderfully. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was fancy but not stuffy. We had some last-minute adjustments, and the owner and staff looked for solutions. They really went above and beyond to make the dinner a success. We sat in the Terrace di Nuovo—a tented area—and were very comfortable. The lighting and decorations made for a fancy but friendly atmosphere. It was a perfect setting for our families to meet. The food was excellent. We had a set three-course dinner, served family style. We were particularly pleased with the vegetarian option: Tagliatelle in a cream sauce with asparagus, leeks, and peas. The bride (now my wife!) really enjoyed the Rigatoni Bolognese. Oh! We had debated whether or not to get the hors d'oeuvres. We did, and they were definitely worth it.We had a wonderful evening and made some life-long memories.“

“What a pleasant surprise! I went to the Sunday Ballard Farmer's Market to get a breakfast burrito from Los Chilangos and they weren't there so I opted instead to wait in line to grab a few slices from Vespucci and try them out not anticipating much because they were just a little pizza stand at the farmer's market (I was hungry and just needed something to eat). I took a bite and the sauce, dough, cheese, seasoning, and toppings just became this crunchy gooey conglomeration of yumminess and I knew right there and then I had to come back! Thank you Vespucci for making my day! Can't wait to get another couple slices if not a whole pie next time!“

“This place is the best for a late night calzone. They stay open until 3am I believe most nights so the hours are much later than almost anywhere else around overall this place truly is a ?. The owner(who usually is there making food personally) works very hard for himself and the community he gives/helps more than most probably would care to know. He deserves any business I hope this review will encourage you to give. Aside from all that, It's one of the better pizza joints around the area, at least give it a try ?“

“It's a really great place. My wife and I brought our 19 month old. We had a couple of small pizzas and some red wine, all of which were very good. The wine was a nice dry Merlot with great tannins, and there was also Chianti on the menu. The wine was terrific, particularly for a family restaurant. I'd describe the food as "American Italian/Greek pasta and pizza house."Our hostess/waitress was very sweet and comped a dessert for my wife's birthday, and our daughter's food. The ambiance was sophisticated and comfortable, and the place has clearly been remodeled and refurnished fairly recently. We'll definitely go back, and I feel like nice places like this deserve our support.Kid-friendliness: Kind and patient with kids. “We have been here for dinner a couple of time but went here for brunch since they just re-opened for brunch again on the weekends. Great to see another option for brunch/breakfast because there some seem to be enough places around and the restaurants that are open for brunch are always packed! We took my mom along so that we could try a variety of items. We started with the sausage rolls. These are amazing - sausage pieces are wrapped in a puff pastry and drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili glaze. We LOVED these! So many layers of flavor going on.My mom had the eggs Benedict with short rib - the short rib was tender and decadent and oh so perfect with the creamy hollandaise sauce. I thought the bennies had the right amount of sauce - I hate when the bennies are doused or barely have a drizzle but they really nailed it on the right amount of sauce in my opinion. The eggs were cooked to perfection on the Bennie as well.I had the biscuits and gravy which was really tasty. The biscuits were moist and buttery and again they had the perfect amount of gravy much like the hollandaise on the bennie. The gravy was flavorful and full of sausage. I enjoyed the breakfast potatoes because they are crispy. My husband had the breakfast burrito. It was quite large and filled with sausage, eggs, cheese, avocado, bell peppers, and onions. I enjoyed how fresh the peppers tasted in the burrito. The only thing I wish is that the burrito was a bit spicier but I know that is a bit of a personal preference.Overall great experience. The staff is always so friendly here. I look forward to coming back for brunch to try the strawberry tartine and the chimchurri steak and eggs!! I am also looking forward to sitting out on the patio as the weather gets nicer.“
