“My family and I try to support local businesses. This one is a gem, it not only has the usual burger menu that all zips has but we often get the breakfast's which are wonderful. The majority of Zips don't have. Also has fast friendly service too. Dine in or dine out it's same quality food.“

The Turkey Crunch Sandwich was like nothing I’ve ever had…super fresh bread, hearty portion of meat and fresh ingredients, crunchy potato chips, and I added bacon, which was REAL bacon, not that precooked stringy crap other sandwich shops use…and whatever the sauce or aioli was on it was drool worthy. Also had a side of tots, which were perfectly crispy with a delicious house seasoning that took them to another level. I’m craving this place again and can’t wait to try more! “An institution in Spokane's West Garland neighborhood, this restaurant's building is in the shape of an old milk bottle! My wife and I were seated promptly, and we had menus in our hands just after that! We ordered fresh-pressed homemade hamburgers that come with freshly cut French fries that were both really delicious!! Nostalgia-like, it was like walking back in time to an "old-fashioned" ice cream and soda fountain! My wife had a chocolate-peanut butter milkshake that she says, "to die for" so good!! “my husband and I went to JJs Thursday night for our first time after hearing they have such good food. Melissa the bartender was our server and let me tell you the service not only completely SUCKED but was absolutely horrible!!!!! It took fotever for her to come take our order for drinks which she literally only asked what we wanted, it took forever to get our drinks which was a beer and mixed drinks, our food sat in the kitchen window for so long that by the time we got it, it wasn't even actually hot just warm...... the place wasn't busy less than 20 people but she was just socializing. It took her a long time to even come take an order for drinks. we ate and sat there waiting til I finally took her a card and went to get boxes. She brought the card back and said there was an issue with it which is weird because it's been used at 3 places today without calling the card issuer, I gave her my debit card but she was very short and unfriendly about it. We will absolutely not be back and will not be recommending this establishment. I'd rather have McDonald's with great service than amazing food with service like we got last night from Melissa. if you're looking for a new place to try just skipthis place it's not worth the visit.“

“Got some burgers and fries on the way out of Spokane and I haven't stopped thinking about them since! The male employee who took our order was top notch and great at answering a few random questions we had and even told us some fun facts about the business, such as that everything is fresh and they have no freezers!! Okay!! Wow! I'm not kidding when I say this was the best burger I've ever had! right up my alley, gooey cheese, great flavor, fresh veggies, and good fry sauce. “Went there for some dinner since I live in the neighborhood and always walk by the place...food was so so,I ended up having the French dip which was nice and big but lacked flavor as did the dipping juice...I would say the service could have been better as in friendlier, the waitress seemed rather snooty.....but overall the place was nice and open . “I hadn't been to this place forever, but I figured I'd give it another try, having had a bad experience years ago.Two things that could have been done better. 1. The Clams on the Appetizer menu had a wonderful broth, but the clams themselves were so small. You could barely find them. Also, it appeared that some of my claims were actually empty. 2. The side salad was fresh. But the whole bottom of the plate was filled with water. I do appreciate that the lettuce was washed/ rinsed well, but it shouldn't go on the plate that wet. Also, the tomatoes were mushy and had no flavor.To the good stuff! The kids' Mac and Cheese was probably the best we've experienced on a kids' menu. My Chicken Piccata was perfect and so delicious! “There are three Zip’s locations (and half a dozen big chain Fast Food joints) that are closer to home; but when I’m craving a burger, I go out of my way to go to the Zip’s at the bottom of the Monroe Hill. The service is always top notch. The employees are the friendliest in town and they’ve never messed up my order. Keep up the excellent work!“

“Great food. The register lady was good. The cooks are douche. Ordered a cowboy, it came with mystery onion rings (bonus) and was missing two other ingredients, pico de gallo and peppers. I was confused as to what burger I received so I asked for a cowboy. I was met with "well do you want me to make another one" I pointed out what it was missing and they said "well we didn't put that on" and in a douche tone to boot. Sorry your job is so hard bud. After I put the toppings on my burger it was delicious. The atmosphere is awesome. The food was quality.“

“I used to eat here all the time. But the last 5+ yrs, not at all. Tonight we came back and try the food again, and I was pleasantly surprised about how AMAZING THE FOOD IS! “I just wanted to give a shout out to the crew working today. I have been having a rough day/week actually-& placed an order on the app (for a dr pepper, fries and pies). I waited in my car for it, when an employee brings out the drink and said the items were going to take extra time, so they came out and asked if I wanted to wait and I said yes. After a bit they bring the pies and no fries. I asked if the fries were coming and the girl looked confused, but said she was going to get them. Her look made me think I should check my order, sure enough-I didn’t order them. I went inside to let them know, so they didn’t search-( I looked at it as a sign I didn’t need them) & I told them sorry for confusing them. They were all so nice and the cook said-they’re ready-i just finished them-was I sure? I said ok, everyone was so nice…I decided I’ll go ahead and get some then. As she scooped them up-I took a deep breath, which I hadn’t done all week-& a calm feeling of joy just came over me. It doesn’t seem like much but it meant everything to my heart. Seconds later my eyes started leaking…and wouldn’t stop. The manager, I think she thought I was upset/angry-so she came over and as I tried to explain my day and their kindness but I think it sounded just the opposite. I wasn’t sad at all anymore-looking around-all the workers are no older than 20 and just so sweet and hard working. I couldn’t even stop the tears… My heart is full, with just their small effort-was huge. I always love Jenn and all the staff she hires. They are much like her-even in her absence they mimic her service standards. Good job-your team is excellent!!“
