“The plates are way too small. My food was falling off my plate and onto the table. I looked around, and most people had the same problem. Why would they use such small plates and have your food falling on the table? Other than that the food is great, but you lose a lot on to the table. Service was also a little slow.“

“The rivers edge is great. We frequently have meetings here, and the staff are really helpful. The food is decent, and the prices are in line with Olympia Washington pricing. I recommend Thai for a great place to talk with others and grab a quick bite that you’ll enjoy.“

“We ate at grand opening day in Olympia location, food was good , fairly fast . The home fries were very good, chicken fried steak was nice and crispy gravy was a meh. Eggs I ordered over med they came w no runny yolk , and absolutely no seasoning, but all and all just opening day issues. They were very busy I’d give it a 3.6 out of 5 my wife’s avocado toast was great , also lacked any seasoning I’d definitely try them again. Our bill for two beverages and two meals was about $50 a little more effort in the kitchen to match the effort in front of house and this place will be dialed…….“

“Food was delicious. The clam chowder is perfect and exactly how chowder should be! I had the Fatso burger and Onion rings. My wife had the chicken strips and tots. Their honey mustard is freaking amazing, hands down best honey mustard I have ever tasted. The only little things I would wish for, and this is personal preference, tots a little crispier and add like 3-4 more onion rings to the plate. Service was nice and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely a place to return to.“

“This tavern is a gem. The food is cooked with care and you can tell when you get it. The brussel sprouts are a huge hit at any time. I tried a "special" called the CodFather yesterday with a hand battered piece of cod, topped with fresh sliced pastrami and some cheese on a slathering of coleslaw on a bun. It absolutely works!“

“I've been coming to this place for over 50 years. You will never walk away hungry or regretting anything you ordered. The service was absolutely stellar! Amanda was very attentive to any of our cuisine requests. Are coffee cups were always kept topped off. I'm a very difficult person to please, And they managed to make me feel like a king. “My wife and I had dinner at the Martin Way Red Lobster yesterday. It was by far the best dinner and overall experience we have ever had at Red Lobster. We live about half way between Olympia and Longview, due to traffic we usually go to the Longview Red Lobster. We have had many "ok" dinners at Longview. Yesterday we went to Olympia. The service was great and the food was perfect. The last month has been a rough one and we needed a good night out to relax. It could not have been better, Thank you. (P.S. I did not get our waitresses name, But I am fairly certain she is the tallest waitress you have there. She is great at her job. Thank you again.) 👍👍👍“

“i just wanted to thank the bartender there tonight. i am currently houseless, which in a lot of ways is a crime and most certainly looked down upon by polite society and so i wanted to thank the bartender at this facility for giving me a rare gift. They kicked me out of the bar in the most optimal way i could have hoped for. i admittedly use wifi in public locations to communicate with my children from time to time and as I don't drink alcohol this can cause proprietors to feel as if my use of their wifi constitutes theft or that i am benefitting off of a service that is paid for by paying patrons and since I don't drink alcohol or have much to offer i shouldn't be able to use the services. i understand that they have a business to run, and that my use, of THEIR wifi, to talk to my son, is not their business model and certainly not one that will turn a profit. Further more, it is not their responsibility to ensure that i am able to talk to my son and it is well within their right to require me to purchase something to use their facilities. Fully agreed, and as a houseless person in Olympia I have been told to leave in a much more demeaning, dehumanizing fashion so i am truly thankful for the bartenders at the 4th ave tavern because they kicked me out in a way that didn't alert my son that his dad was being kicked out for being unable to purchase a drink and because they did so discreetly, I was able to retain what little dignity I have left and save face in front of my child. so thank you, it does mean a lot to occasionally feel as though my presence is not a complete blight and that maybe my son will go to bed wishing his dads wifi service was better so we could have talked a little longer instead of the reality which is your father can't even get together enough money for a drink that he will not have drank but what would have allowed him to talk about everything and nothing at all for just a little bit longer. thank you.“

“What you (can't) blame Red Robin for is how busy they are! Well price; but $1 garbage is still garbage. I love the Endless Fries and yes sometimes you have to wait. It would take a Fryer the size of a twin bed to never wait. Service has been awesome so far. Going back Sunday.“

“Holiday shopping with mom from out of town and we decided we wanted to get drinks and the 2 for $25 deal to fuel us for the day. We headed to Applebee's and we we're met by a nice hostess who held the door open for us and made small talk, a waitress who was attentive and had great recommendations for food and shopping in the area and a manager who made sure all of our needs were taken care of while also being very comical and friendly. We each got the $6 Christmas Margaritas and they were AMAZING. I didn't have high hopes for mine but whoever made this drink knew what they were doing. We ordered the Artichoke appetizer, then each ordered the 4 Cheese Mac and Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders for an upgrade of $3 per meal. It was worth every cent. I haven't been to Applebee's in a long time since I live by the coast and don't make it to Olympia or live anywhere near one but I will absolutely be back to this location in the near future. I generally prefer to go to ethnic food when I'm in a city but we took a chance on something different and more relaxing and I'm glad we did. I really loved my experience here and so did my mom.“

There is a Dennys across the street, forgo Dennys. The price is the same and the food is hands down better.“
