We were lucky enough to squeeze in a last minute reservation and felt the warm embrace of the other diners, The Owner, sous chefs, and the service team! Julia helped us through ordering and wine selection without missing a beat on keeping our orders aligned with timing her attendance perfectly with the next part of our meal. The food was fresh, flavorful and with perfect texture! From appetizer to dessert, from a Tuesday, to a Saturday, call ahead as you are in for such a treat!

“After reading rave reviews on Best of Olympia, we had to give Herfys a try. The dining area is small but clean. It seems most of their business is to-go orders, which wored out for us, leaving a table available for us to enjoy our lunch. We both had a bacon cheeseburger and shared an order of fries. The burgers were flavorful and cooked to perfection.
Service was friendly (you order at the counter and they bring it to your table)
All in all we were happy with the overall experience in this hole in the wall burger joint.

“Best bagel in town! Always getting the lox bagel! The area is open and has seating agains the walls. It could use some noise dampening items. Sat with a friend for coffee and gossip, and it felt like the whole room could hear our convo even we were talking quietly. The pastries are great as well! Oh, and they make coffee! Good non burnt coffee!“

“This cute restaurant is slightly hidden when you first arrive as my boyfriend and I missed it when we first arrived by GPS. Luckily there was street parking in front of the restaurant and we were able to park just fine and enter the restaurant. We were greeted by our waitress who appears to be the owner and she was very polite and professional with us. She got us waters and menus and gave us the right amount of time to decide what we wanted. My boyfriend ordered the Singapore fried rice with chicken and I got the spicy garlic chicken with peanut sauce with a Thai iced tea.

The inside of the restaurant is cozy and cute. The ceiling has a beautiful pattern of blue skies with little clouds and there is good lighting throughout the restaurant that gives a pretty casual vibe throughout the restaurant. The food came out after some time and it was absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend loved his fried rice and he also took some of the peanut sauce as he said it was very flavorful. I really enjoyed the spicy garlic chicken and wished it was a bit spicier as I ordered hot but that's fine. The peanut sauce was delightful to put on my meal as well. We thought the Thai iced tea was very refreshing and perfect. I look forward to trying more of the dishes here as we were happy with the food, service, and prices!“

“I had the pleasure of dining at this Korean restaurant about a month ago, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Every dish we ordered was full of rich, balanced flavors made with fresh ingredients and authentic spices.

The kimchi was perfectly tangy and lively, and the barbecue was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and lightly charred in the best way. The variety of side dishes (banchan) added even more excitement to the meal, each offering its own unique taste and texture.

“Food was delicious. The clam chowder is perfect and exactly how chowder should be! I had the Fatso burger and Onion rings. My wife had the chicken strips and tots. Their honey mustard is freaking amazing, hands down best honey mustard I have ever tasted. The only little things I would wish for, and this is personal preference, tots a little crispier and add like 3-4 more onion rings to the plate. Service was nice and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely a place to return to.“

“Just visited tonight and as always, loved the food and service! Super sweet waitresses and delicious food. I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box and a plate of crab rangoons. My friend ordered the beef bulgolgi. We were both surprised at the fast service and generous portions. After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.“

“This tavern is a gem. The food is cooked with care and you can tell when you get it. The brussel sprouts are a huge hit at any time. I tried a "special" called the CodFather yesterday with a hand battered piece of cod, topped with fresh sliced pastrami and some cheese on a slathering of coleslaw on a bun. It absolutely works!“

“We always sit in the bar and we always receive great service. I want to call out that Matt handled a really rude customer on 12/2/24 with calmness and kindness. There was a mixup regarding checks with the neighboring table and she had her salad comped, but she didn't understand why. He explained multiple times (who complains that their meal is being comped???!) until he finally said he needed to keep moving to help other diners, and her dining partner actually raised her voice and cursed at him. He should be commended. Our meal was fantastic, steak cooked perfectly, service quick, and sides all correct and accounted for.“

“The plates are way too small. My food was falling off my plate and onto the table. I looked around, and most people had the same problem. Why would they use such small plates and have your food falling on the table? Other than that the food is great, but you lose a lot on to the table. Service was also a little slow.“

“My family and I have been coming here for YEARS! This place is hands down the BEST pho around! We come here a lot and never have we ever had one complaint. My daughter loves it and has been eating at this place since the womb and she is now 2 and always asking to come here ☺️.
The place is always clean, the staff and owner are amazing and sweetest people who work hard and are always on top of it, the pho broth is the BEST I’ve ever had and all of the food is always amazing and the portions are incredible!
