“Cozy spot. Espresso drinks are good, not great. But when you are not in the mood to cross into Tsawwassen, they'll do. But the food is really good, as are the baked goods. And they sell really delicious sourdough bread. Looking forward to the patio opening up for outdoor seating - inside is very small and fills up fast.“

“Quite enjoyed this unique place to try unique offerings with a bite of food. Tried the flight of samplings letting our server pick based on my profile - all were very good with the Honey Amber Ale being top notch. Shared a chicken sandwich (which was delicious by the way) but on the smaller portion size. Overall an unique experience but not enough to drive out our way to come back. Did notice a lot or bike riders stopping by so that may be the real niche.
Service seems to be typical these days - hurry up and wait, there definitely was a spurt of people waiting on this warm and sunny Sunday afternoon. Our bill was $37 plus tip for one flight of beer, one soda and one chicken sandwich.“

“I was here for lunch. The persian food and location is awesome. Its right on Stevestons village with beautiful ocean view.
The ambience and service is awesome. People are friendly and helped me to understand the authentic persian food.
We had appies cauliflower dish and eggplant dish with soft persian bread. The eggplant spread with bread is the killer. Must try. Loved it.
The main course lamb shark, prawn biryani and other chicken dish are good. Liked the saffron flavoured rice and well cooked lamb shank. The biryani is also good however it is different from
How Biryani cooked in India food. At the end we had Baclava dessert with persian Chai. I never had such authentic flavourful baclava. It has almost sprinkled on top and inside it is having cardamom flavour. Woow it was mouthful of flavour. Chai is also very tasty.
I would say, eggplant spread with bread as well Baclava dessert is must try at this place.“

“Took the kids here on a Tuesday evening after soccer practice and we were all so happy we did. The almond croissants were still fresh at that hour, which honestly surprised me for a weeknight. Staff were genuinely warm and patient while my youngest changed her mind about what she wanted three times. We'll definitely be making this a regular after-school stop.“

“First time in and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food in Steveston! The Jalapeño Margaritas is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.“

“I’ve always frequented the Cannery Cafe when I have time to spoil myself for lunch. Their brunch options are fantastic and never failed and so this time I opted to try something else. The duck carbonara udon caught my eye for some time and I will say the flavour profile is great and the portion is good. The only thing I would have liked is if the sauce were a little thicker and not so runny/watery. Great for a rainy day!“

“So upset I did not find this place before moving to cloverdale from north delta. It’s hard to find a pub that checks every box but this place has it. I got the wings ( of course) they were saucy and cooked to perfection. The blue cheese was the good chunky kind!!I sat by where the food was coming out and every time a meal passed me it smelt unreal. The owner even came out at one point to see how patrons would like a beer he was thinking of bringing in..The staff were on top of every refill and dirty dish. I will drive out from cloverdale to keep coming to this place.“

“Recently enjoyed an excellent meal @ Blue Canoe. The Ling Cod on Mushroom Orzo was superb! The Key Lime Pie hit the spot. The sunset helps. Very impressed by the effective teamwork of the staff!“

“The BBQ meats are standouts, and the other HK cafe food is solid. The baked pork chop on rice is quite rich and I wish it had a stronger tomato flavour.
The interior really reminds me of HK restaurants, it’s nice and comfortable with a lot of booth seating options.
It gets busy around meal times even if the location seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Pretty good choice for some authentic Hong Kong food without going deep into Richmond.“

“Good news. They’ve just hired a new girl to answer the phone and work the front counter. She’s friendly and even phoned us back to let us know our order was ready to be picked up earlier than expected. The food was great too. Still no dine-in service though.“

“This is the perfect place to go with friends, sit outside and enjoy the sunset. Or spend a sunny afternoon. The food is great and the service is always friendly. Special thanks to our server, Brie who took such great care of us during our recent visit. It's always nice to visit with Nick, the owner as well. Highly recommend!“
