“When I walked into Holy Water, I felt like I’d stepped inside my favorite kooky aunt’s house. She was the black sheep of the family who made me laugh a little too much when we were forced to go to church to appease my grandmother. Eventually, we were forbidden to sit next to one another because we’d both be in tears and giggling so loudly that the entire congregation would turn to stare us down. That sort of irreverent (yet respectful and funny) vibe is part of Holy Water’s DNA. This place immediately makes you feel welcome. It doesn’t take itself too seriously- that is except for the food. If only my kooky aunt was as good a cook… The staff is amazing. They were patient when my lunch companion had to make some bizarre alterations to his order. (He’d just had a wisdom tooth pulled a couple of days before and needed softer foods.) When we were ready to leave and still had way too much food on our plates, a staff member saw the look of surrender on our face and quickly boxed up the remainders and told us that she’d added some extra gravy (yum!) for us to take home. (Who doesn’t love extra sausage gravy?) I love this place. The food is great but what really makes this spot shine is the people. I can’t wait to go back.“

“The Manette Saloon has now adopted an updated menu and added Brunch to their food options.

After trying the Brunch twice I am impressed with the multiple dishes as well as the value for each dish.

My wife ordered the two egg breakfast which was 12$ and I had the same item but added a country fried chicken with gravy for 8$ more. I also highly recommend their sin-o-bun and biscuits & gravy.

They also serve coffee, bloody Marys, and other drink options. The space has also been updated so now seating options are booths and tables and no more stools and barrels like the previous owners had.

You owe it to come out and try their brunch.“

“I’m from KC. I’ve not had good bbq since I’ve moved to Washington. I was skeptical about Texas bbq though… I was pleasantly surprised! I had 2 meat combo plate. The bbq brisket could not have been more tender. The chile seasoned chicken was very flavorful. Loved the slaw. Pickles were awesome. I like flavorful and spicy. The bbq beans were good beans. I would prefer more bbq to the beans but they were still good. Great military atmosphere. Good sized portions too! I had a nitro stout that was pretty good too. The service could have been more attentive but she was in no way unfriendly. Overall very good meal! I’ll be back! Thank you!“

“We went to Tracyton Public House for the first time last night and immediately felt welcomed. When the man at the door was checking IDs, we mentioned we’d never been in and he gave us his food recommendations. We took him up on that and ordered the wings! They are SO insanely good (and HUGE!!). Each sauce we got was remarkable. So much flavor. The bartender was very nice and friendly and welcoming. The whole vibe of the place was really cool. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Looking for a breakfast place for Sunday-after-church. Never thought to stop here as we’re not golfers. . . What a find! Nice and quiet, you can watch the golfers on the driving range, and good food. Great service and reasonable prices. Hubby had the Sampler breakfast and I had the Hash Brown Stack. Best hash browns I’ve had. Only complaints? The coffee isn’t strong enough for me, and the food plate had a big chip on it. Otherwise, top notch. We’ll be back. ❤️“

“The food was great! Bartenders amazing! However we were sitting at the bar, had been there all night. Security came up and told us they were taking our chairs because it was getting busy. When I asked where do we go, the answer from security person “ohh you can stay here but you have to stand. It’s too busy to sit here.” Was a great night, turned into not so great. “This post is from Pacific Northwest Foodies. Doc’s Marina Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been on the quest for a great Crab Louie salad for a few years. Sadly, this classic crab salad is hard to find even in states like Washington. I suspect it has to do with most people not wanting to pay a lot of money for a salad, but if you’ve ever had a great one, you know this one is worth it. After doing a lot of research, I made a point to try the one at Doc’s Marina Grill on Bainbridge Island, Washington. There’s also a location in Port Townsend, Washington. For starters, I ordered a cup of Doc’s House Made Clam Chowder ($8) - famous because it’s “oh-so-good!” It needed a sprinkle of salt, but it was very good. For my entrée, I ordered Doc’s Dungeness Crab Louie ($38) - mixed greens topped with tender crab, seasonal vegetables, heirloom tomatoes and Doc’s house-made Louie dressing. I was impressed! I would rate Doc’s Crab Louie a 4/5. It was beautifully presented, had a generous portion of crab, and the house made Louie dressing was excellent! I would give this salad a perfect rating if they removed the red onion, and added a few black olives and asparagus spears. Even so, I was very happy with my salad and would rank it among one the best Crab Louie’s I’ve ever had. It is certainly the best I’ve had in Washington state. In addition to serving great food, I really enjoyed the ambience of Doc’s, and the service was excellent! I look forward to visiting again and try and some new menu items. *The upstairs level and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. * There is an opening above the urinal that is a giant periscope. It provides a panoramic view of Eagle Harbor. It was designed by Lee Scott, a Carnegie Mellon graduate student. If you don’t use a urinal, but are interested in seeing the periscope, staff will clear the room so you can check it out too. I didn’t know about this until after my visit. Next time, I will be sure to check it out. 😊 Highly Recommended!!!“

“Mehfil is our favorite Indian cuisine restaurant in Silverdale! We order our meals as take out, and they are always ready when promised. Our favorite entree is the Butter Chicken. Now, they even offer a loyalty program that we can use to earn free menu items.“
