“Be forewarned: if you order iced coffee, they’ll put it in a hot coffee cup. When you walk around town condensation will form on the cup and it will begin to disintegrate. If you bring the situation to their attention they’ll just tell you to drink faster. Other than that, it was an excellent place; fast service; great location.”

“What a wonderful coffee experience. They don't give you one or two choices of over roasted and burnt sbux coffee, they give you a choice of coffees from around the world that they roast here in town. Unless you're buying an espresso drink, each cup is a handmade pour-over. The view of the sound is incredible and the quiche is delicious.”

“Our son recently got married in lovely Pt. Townsend. We needed to host 30 people for the groom's dinner. There are not many places in town that can accommodate that large of a crowd. However Jason was willing to offer our group his entire front room for this event. Being from out of town everything was arranged through one phone call and text messages. Jason recommended a family style dinner with three entrees, 4 appetizers and two additional sides. The food was amazing, the service was delightful, everyone was comfortable and well fed. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for the wonderful experience it gave us and fond memories for the newlyweds. This was quite a place for a destination wedding and our flawless experience with Jason made it even better. My only wish is he owned another one in Minneapolis, then maybe he'd be a Vikings fan!”

“The Nest is such a great space for kids. It's been so good for my youngest (12) as it's safe and so welcoming. To have a place I feel comfortable sending him off to on his own is a godsend. It allows for independence but also it's a little community of new friends. 😍”

“Last week we had a very delicious lunch for 4. I had the Braised Beef sandwich, my wife had the Kale salad, our friends had the French Onion Soup and Chicken Bacon Pot Pie. ALL of these were absolutely wonderful! The staff were all very friendly, answered all the questions, and made great recommendations. We will most definitely come back for another meal! “Wow! TBH I went here because they were open early but was pleasantly surprised by their service and coffee. The barista was intelligent and intuitive (didn’t need to ask, she just put a stopper on the coffee that wasn’t mine) and could clearly see I was in need of caffeine and didn’t mess around. They have peanut butter syrup (one of my faves) and white coffee. Great start to my day!”

“Banana Leaf is a favorite of ours for Asian food in PT, and it never disappoints. The dishes are delicious, and the spiciness on-target with our regular requests of 4 (pleasantly spicy) to negative 2 (not spicy at all). The servers are always friendly and helpful. Some of our favorite dishes are Golden Cashew, Rama, Massamun Curry, and Mango Ginger Duck.”

“This lovely small hotel right in the heart of Port Townsend. I walked to restaurants, the Saturday Farmers Market, and shops. The deck off the waterfront room was sunny and peaceful - perfect to enjoy morning coffee. Self check-in worked great, and the room was well stocked with everything I needed. Will definitely return when I'm in PT!Note that the hotel was beautifully renovated in 2018, so older reviews (especially ones about food from the now-closed restaurant below) don't reflect the current experience.”

“We had chicken mole and enchiladas as well as a hibiscus tea and a hot chocolate. Everything was very delicious and the service was wonderful. My husband said it reminds him of eating in a small café in Mexico. My only dislike was the Nirvana music pounding out of the kitchen because the dining room and the kitchen are all one space. Some interesting Mexican music would have been great.”

“The pizza was good, not the best pizza out there, but if you want a quick slice then this will do. The service was very good, person was helpful, very nice and was funny. The atmosphere was probably the best part, have a little arcade section for people. The floor, Tables, and just general resturant as very clean, the music helped aswell.”

“We stayed at the Marina RV Park for the weekend and decided to walk on over the night we got in. We had the BEST food and service, we loved it so much that we came back with some friends the next day for lunch. This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, we will be back anytime we’re in Port Townsend. We were talking about that Prime Rib & Cheddar for the rest of the day and into the morning 😆🤤”

“The building and surrounding property is wonderful. The beds are comfortable and everything inside is simply really nice! Showerheads are a little low so you have to bend your head down and there’s a couple of big potholes on the street coming into the parking area that you have to look out for. I didn’t try to food there so I can’t comment on that. I’d stay here again though!”
