“I desperately want to give the Renton restaurant five stars, but cannot.Red wagon has some of the best burgers I have ever eaten at a restaurant. I continue to bring lunch clients to this restaurant because the food is delicious and prepared well. The staff is always super friendly and courteous. I did run into a negative policy today; in that they don’t allow outside food in their restaurant. There were three of us and one person wanted to grab something else and then join us and they were not allowed. So the third in our party had to eat somewhere else alone. I understand if you are using a restaurant as a hangout to eat your food and not spending any money it’s not courteous, but when the majority of the patrons are eating in your restaurant, to have a steadfast rule that doesn’t allow for such a concession left a bitter flavor in my mouth. Is it possible to allow for exceptions based on the circumstances in order to allow for a positive experience for everyone? The next time I have a group of people, and one person doesn’t like burgers, I will unfortunately be forced to choose to eat at another restaurant.“

Ivar's recruits good people and it continues to be a place that can give one a little bit of that good ol days feeling. The quality of their product hasn't wavered in these tough times. “Walks always one of our favorites. Everytime we go, the staff traets us like family. The food is always good. The hardest part is choosing what we want with so many good options. Both types of chowder are excellent, but I prefer the white chowder. Monday evenings has All you Can Eat for a significantly reduced price. Walllys is awesome.“

“I had a wonderful meal at Pigfish Cafe. I had a Hot Pastrami sandwich which was so so delicious. Ample pastrami with melted provolone and mayo. Also a large helping of fries. Great value, excellent service, very friendly, delicious food. Will definitely be going back.“

“Decor is standard ivar’s, so I gave it a default 5 stars. Food is as expected, nicely fried seafood. The Asian lady frying the food seems very on top of things and open to helping the cashier when she has a spare moment. She seems more invested than she should be, so that’s good, right? They also bring your order out to you. I’m used to them calling your name and you have to get your order at the counter. So services is above par for an Ivar’s.

Cajun fish fry was great snappy crust flaky fish, chowder well, more like soup but still flavorful. I am biased but still solid food for just arriving to Seattle living on 4hrs of sleep.“
