Went in thinking tacos, but found they had so many different items I can’t find other places. 2+ years later I go back for things like big tortas, some nice alambre, a pizza-esque sope, and huge amazing lamb birria and quesabirria on weekends. The food is priced generously for the portion as well. This place is held in high regard for other reasons, things are always well-kept and clean, especially where it’s most important. I’ve developed a scrutinous eye as a restaurant professional, and they always impress, not to mention the family behind the business is lovely. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

The portions are huge and the meat is well seasoned! La Carne Asada estaba rica! On top of the authentic Mexican food their prices are shockingly affordable for being in Downtown Renton. They played Latine/ LatinX music the entire time! Thankful for that! Spanish music at a Mexican restaurant is the cherry on top. The atmosphere needs to match the music. Vice versa. Vegetarian options: I ate the quesadillas with beans, but you can ask probably any meal without meat.“

“The tacos weren't seasoned very well (carnitas) but I did absolutely love the wet burrito! I'd give the tacos 2.5 stars and the burrito 5 stars. I'll definitely be back for more burritos! Also, the roasted jalapenos were heavenly. I ordered to-go and was given pre-packaged salsa that was disgusting, but the hot sauce and salsa they have for customers to grab was tasty. Unfortunately, there's no to-go packaging for the many toppings and salsas they have available. I'll definitely be back!“

“I had a really bad experience with mazatlan next door so I thought I would stop by here and try their Margaritas and it was such a good decision I will never go to that mazatlan ever again! The people that helped me were very friendly and the Mango Chile margarita they made for me was sooooooo good! I will definitely start coming here for my dinners. I also have to say that no matter when I come in, or who's working, service is prompt & their attitude is always friendly and cheerful. “The exterior of the premises looked suspicious with the tacky color scheme (which led me to stay away for quite a bit), but food was surprisingly fresh and value-for-money.

Mojarra frita was a whole tilapia, along with corn tortillas, rice, beans, guacamole and pico de gallo, for $14 total. While the fish was overly salted on the exterior, it was easily mitigated (i.e., just scrape off the excess salt). Corn tortillas on the dry side but that wasn't much of an issue for me as well.

Definitely no gourmet meal, but a satisfying one at this price point. Look forward to trying the other offerings.“

When my food was about ready, there a small mishap where the bag gave out and the food fell, but they were quick to remake it fresh, and they gave my a complimentary horchata as an apology for the wait.
