“What is wrong with people here!? ?
The reviews are hilariously over blown. This is just an airport food court in one of country’s overpriced cities. Watch what you ask for!
Of course it’s not the best curry in the world. It’s acceptable.
Tofu coconut curry + rice: 5/10
Samosas 2 ct: 8/10
If you just transit through here and crave or need some Indian food, certainly go ahead, but have some low expectations please!“

“This is the most lovely place! We’ve been coming here for 5 years and each time the service gets better and the food has been the best. The people are so nice, makes sure we’re happy with our food and always the biggest smiles on their faces. This will always be our favorite ?
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs here, banquette seating so the edge of tables are accessible.“

“Vegetarian and Indian is some of my favorite food, Angar Kitchen didn't disappoint. Food was delicious, we both were stuffed. The atmosphere and decor are really on point here though, it's very modern and beautiful. Definitely thoughtfully designed with even the dishes the food is served in being chic and fit the overall aesthetic. Try it out!“

“I first heard about Kanishka's Des Moines location through a friend who saw somebody raving about it in a Seattle foodies group here on FB. My friend and I went to check it out and, well, it's my new favorite restaurant. I've been here 3 times and Door Dashed it once in the past month. The food every time has been absolutely fantastic, and the portion size are quite generous. The appetizers are almost entree-sized; the first time I went there with a friend, we filled up on appetizers and had to get our entrees to go. Dish recommendations: Chicken 65 and Fish Pakoras for appetizers; Mixed Grill, Lamb Vindaloo, and Paneer Korma entrees. Also, listen to your host as it seems like they're always trying out new dishes that haven't made it onto the menu yet.“

“The food is absolutely amazing and authentic. My family of 5 devoured everything we ordered and the portion size of the 3 entrees 2 serving of Naan and chicken Biryani was jmore than enough for dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day. Great food and great customer service we will be back .“

“Janoon serves the best Indian food I’ve ever had, hands down. My family and I are regulars, and we’ve sampled most of the menu. My personal favorites are the Lamb Curry, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, and, of course, the fresh naan!
Now for the downsides: They’re closed on Tuesdays, likely because it’s a family-run operation. Occasionally, there’s a bit of a language barrier with the staff, but we always manage to communicate just fine. The service isn’t five-star, but they do their best. The location is in an office park, so the dining area isn’t the most comfortable or inviting due to the limited space.
But here’s the good: The food more than makes up for any shortcomings. It’s so good, you’ll forget all about the minor issues. The staff is incredibly sweet, and the space is always clean and well-maintained. I find myself needing to eat here at least once a month, or I genuinely miss it. My adult kids order from here twice a week! If you think you’ve had Indian food before, think again. My son’s girlfriend, who comes from an Indian family, says, “This is as authentic as my grandmother’s cooking, and hands down the best in Seattle.” A friend of mine even needed a cigarette after eating here—it’s that good.
My suggestions for the owners: Never change the food or your recipes. But consider finding an investor or securing a loan to relocate to a place like Kent Station or Southcenter. Add booths, tables, and decor, and hire some top-notch waitstaff and front-of-house management. With food this amazing, paired with a more polished atmosphere, you’d be packed 24/7. I have no doubt that Janoon could become a multi-location success, and it’s already my all-time favorite Indian restaurant.“

“Kati choices and fillings are on point! In the years I’ve lived in Seattle no resto, high-end or budget, has ever had the level of consistency as this place. It rivals the speed taste and pricing of establishments in cities like NYC , LA and Boston. Seriously the most reliable spot in town to invest your takeout funds in.“

“Tbh, best Indian food in the region. Feels like a home-cooked meal, made with love. The butter chicken is amazing, as are the daily rotating specials. Chan, who is often working the front counter, is lovely. Cannot recommend Spice King enough!“

“For one reason, the Bombay Seafood Curry. You guys, it was out of this world good. The Samosas were just ok. The gentleman was great, the lady barely acknowledged my presence. That was pretty off putting. But I'll definitely return for this dish. Yum“

“This is the best Indian food in Federal Way hands down. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I am a vegetarian and they have a lot to choose from. Their Naan is the best I've ever had. The restaurant is dealing with the light rail construction so make sure to enter Gateway Plaza from 320th. Their buffet is amazing and a great value. Please support this excellent restaurant because I want to keep going there!
Vegetarian options: There is a whole menu section of vegetarian options and I have tried every one. They are all delicious. No kidding.
Parking: This restaurant is located in Gateway Plaza with other businesses so there is plenty of parking.“

“Just recently visited this place, on a Thursday, right at noon. (I was only one in the restaurant. Very surprised by that) saw people going in and out of a Teriyaki place next door.
I ordered pineapple chicken (Cut up chicken and pineapple cooked with a mild Creamy Butter Sauce. Came with basmati rice. Also ordered Naan Bread. Also a bottle of beer. Came to some $26 dollars. But the food was great, service was friendly, clean restaurant. I will definitely go back some time. If you want something different then Teriyaki or a burger, give them a try!“

“Ordered the vegetarian dinner for two directly through their website. The dinner was ready for pickup promptly at the appointed time. The servings were generous. Spice levels were good. I wasn’t able to specify spice level so I anticipated blandness but was pleasantly surprised. Their daal was phenomenal. Definitely was worth more than the value paid. Will come back again“

“Excellent place! Next door to our vet, where a teriyaki place used to be, so decided to try for lunch. Two of us. Regular gyro sandwich with fries and soda combo, and jumbo extra meat shawarma. Guy working was super friendly and helpful. Food freshly prepared and hot. Fast too. Delicious food, meat was tender and flavorful, lots of toppings, crispy seasoned fries. Would not change anything about the food. We ate in. The guy brought the food to our table. Place is nice and fresh and clean but minimal decorations and no music or anything. Reasonable prices. We will definitely eat here again. Also, note excellent rating from county health. That's a good sign. On par with the best gyro places in the area. Worth trying!“

“This was a great spot for some delicious chat and quick eats. I had the chicken kathi roll and pav bhaji. They were both made very well, and served pretty quickly. Will definitely visit again.
There is a lot of parking, but the lot has a weird design and could be a hassle. We didn't have much issues ourselves, coz we went a little late in the day.“
