“Definitely a cool little spot. The food was pretty good and came out relatively quickly. We went for brunch and we're happy with the selection. The beer cheese was a little too runny for what I like but it had good flavor.

“I have lived in Seattle for decades and never have i had a better experience than i did tonight at full throttle. the beers were amazing and the diversity of the selections available was truly impressive. that coupled with the amazing service given by the bartender, Lauren, made the whole visit even better. Lauren was an absolute pleasure to interact with and made me feel like I was a friend that she had known for ages! she’s got my vote for employee of the month! “Unique old garage atmosphere, dark and dirty with somewhat community seating. There are many beers on tap which super fun at order time. The staff is happy to pour samples and is prepared for the asks. However, the samples are so small that they are worthless unless you are a tasting pro or just trying to distinguish between a stout and a Pilsner. If your whole existance is varieties in tap beers, samples are part of the business. Embrace that and ensure customer experience is part of the package. Every time I get samples, I get the rushed feeling. Here's your 2 drop sample, suck it down and give me your order. I come here for the ~40 beer tap selection; it's part of the fun! Sampling adds to the experience and prices are high enough that I want to enjoy my beers.

I like dinner with my beers and the food trucks are mostly good, but one is always limited to that one truck. The location doesn't lend itself to other options.“

“Always a favorite of mine, albeit i live and work in Pike Place Market. No food other than snacks, but you are permitted to bring in to-go, so really no problem! The beers are ALL PNW regional, and remarkably well-curated. And, a plus to wheelchair visitors (I am one) the insurance bureaucracy of the recent electrical fire has finally been cracked, and bathrooms on both levels are once again operational. Huzzah! And, I am now enjoying the possible last nitro keg of Boundary Bay Stout since they are retiring and closing their doors permanently.“

“I discovered U Wine Bar on a walk in the neighborhood, and was immediately interested because it's a wine bar, but then even more interested because it hosts Magic events! It's a great space, good wine, good non-alcoholic options and wonderful people. The owner is also fantastic and friendly and will probably beat you in a Commander game. The environment is relaxed, casual yet classy and I highly recommend for wine and/or Magic.“

“This was our first visit. I saw their menu and a few pics on line and decided to give it a try. This is a charming gem of a restaurant. Our bartender/server, Chloe was very nice and made fabulous looking drinks. I had wine but will try one of her cocktails next time. The food was so good! Can’t wait to go back.“

“The ginger beer here is always great and you can sample the flavors before you order.

The prices are the menu are set so that you don't really save any money by ordering a larger size, so order the size you think you can finish.

As of October 2025 there is also a food option on the right side of the store that is selling fried chicken.

There really shouldn't be a tipping option as you are ordering at the counter.“

“A family friendly space. Good for loving parents to either little humans or pets or both. There is a separate kitchen that serves bites. You have to order separately, so the brewery shares the space. Not a place to be seeking royal treatment, but it is chill and I will definitely be revisiting for as long as possible in the future. A laissez faire experience.“

“So first of all I would like to say if you grab a burger and fries from next door at Red Mill you are allowed to come inside here while you enjoy their enormous selection of cold beverages. Not only are they extremely helpful and knowledgeable but you have a huge selection. A very clean and inviting spot with an amazing view outside where the front is even open a nice day. Plenty of places to sit. Parking is a little tight so I tried to avoid right at lunch time.“

“One of our friends described this very Seattle brewery perfectly: You see people playing D&D while the Seahawks are playing. Beers are brewed in house! We love playing games and hanging out here. Friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere. I mean, how can you beat hanging out, drinking and playing board games while watching sci-fi films / Seahawks games? Strangely to some, the most impressive aspect is the restroom setup. Gender neutral rooms with tampons/pads on hand for those who need them. For those who don't typically see this setup, it's kind of a big deal and helps this brewery stand out.“

“Many places have happy hour food and some places have food to accompany happy hour. This place has a great happy hour food menu, and a party of four can be satisfied by ordering from the menu and enjoying a couple of drinks. I don't ever feel like I need to grab a bite from the food trucks nearby, and think more about their small bites than their drinks.

It says taproom as they have a great selection of beverages, but if you are the type that wants to also eat something that isn't chicken tenders and fries... the Trailbend Taproom might land on your rotation soon.“

SH makes so many IPAs, and now often outstanding ones! This will be a must stop for fresh hop season Sep-Oct every year! So looking forward to it this year. “The manager here is completely rude to his customers and his staff. Refuses to refund or replace and item made incorrectly. Just terrible customer service. Think twice before giving your money to such a terrible person. Read many other reviews that talk about how the staff here is treated. The food is mediocre at best, but even of it was better, service matters. I'd encourage the owners to think about how they treat people and how they would like to be treated as a customer when the business was at fault. Disgusting. There were mushrooms sent to a kid with an allergy when it was clearly noted on the order to leave them off, there was a hair in the pizza. I would encourage the owner to take a class in customer service and learn to do what is right instead of being rude and snarky.“

“I headed to Greenwood for some gumbo at 74th Street Ale House. I have had this dish and have often cooked it many times. It is a complex but flavorful dish with many ingredients, but the key is the roux. Flour, olive oil and canola oil are sloooowly browned and thickened. When the roux is ready a pile of vegetables, meats, and spices are added to the pot with broth. The mixture then simmers on low heat for hours. When ready, the gumbo is served over rice. 74th Street is the master! This bowl was as delicious as ever. I also had some delicious, spiced nuts as an appetizer. The service was slow.“

“Very good BBQ. Brisket was excellent and pork ribs were very good as well. Member of our group raved about the burger. Only complaint was the slower checkout but they have to weigh each plate so not much they can do. We can’t wait to come back“
