“Small place, not fancy, but absolutely stellar food. Everything was delicious, great flavours and high quality ingredients. Really well balanced seasoning and spices. We had the momo combo, vegetable thali, lamb curry, and fried chicken and fries. Can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menuVegetarian options: I had the Vegetable thali. Really fresh vegetables, beautifully prepared. Tons of vegetarian options to choose fromKid-friendliness: My kid loves dumplings, so we ordered him some chicken momo. He also had the fried chicken and French fry appetizer plate but he mostly at the momo and some vegetables from my plate, although he said the fried chicken was "juicy and good"“

“The food was fantastic. It's very much a "serve yourself" type of place though. You have to push a button on an app to summon the wait staff, and the app says not to pay online but it seems like the expectation was you'd be paying online. In addition, some kind of loud grinder or blender was going off almost the whole time.“

“Discovering this Indian restaurant in Seattle was a culinary delight. I have been there multiple times. They expertly blend authentic Indian flavors with modern fusion. While consistency is usually spot on, the salmon dish varied slightly. Yet, their Keema pav sliders and Daal remain consistently outstanding. Desserts can be hit or miss, but overall, it's a must-try for Indian food lovers. Though pricey, the quality justifies it. For a taste of India with a contemporary twist, this spot delivers.“

“I wanted to share my recent experience at your establishment and provide some feedback on my visit. Firstly, I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Rupee Bar. The lively ambiance and colorful decor created a welcoming and energetic environment, perfect for socializing with friends or enjoying a night out. The highlight of my visit was the impressive selection of cocktails. The mixologists at Rupee Bar truly have a talent for crafting creative and flavorful drinks. Each cocktail I tried was expertly balanced and bursting with unique flavors, making for a memorable drinking experience. I also appreciated the variety of snacks and small plates available on the menu. The food offerings complemented the drinks perfectly and provided a delicious accompaniment to the evening.“

“Decent prices and delicious! I’ll recommend lamb curry , best of the best! Especially if you’re looking for halal food! Rapid service, if you order to go,you’ll get your order in 15 minutes which is very quick compared to other Indian restaurants! Cause I’ve been in many Indian restaurants in Seattle area, I highly recommend this place don’t listen the negative reviews, I order food from this place at least 4-5 times per week! Every Friday they have promo prices for Briyani! I noticed the negative comment from weird person, there is nothing wrong being Mexican or indian to cooking other cultures cuisine as long as they taught by chef, this is US, any race can be part of any cuisines! That’s why we are here! Sorry for being emotional, I just can’t stand when I see something unfair, this place is pretty decent with nice atmosphere and very friendly crew, when even they were almost close , they took my order without any complaints, huge respect for crew and owner!“

“we ordered kale chat, baked chicken and chicken chettinad, we also ordered gulabo. the drink was so good.kale chat was ok.. baked chicken fondue is not really a fondue but was definitely one time try..chicken chetinad should be green chili chetinnad. it was so spicy that I had to stop eating and start looking for chillies that we noticed a little late so not worth returning.the highlight was the falooda. not to sweet perfect burst of different tastes in every bite.ambience was ok but I can pass that given the location is great.service was very good.“

“We arrived on a gray, rainy Sunday and were offered delicious pumpkin soup. We ordered from the special menu ($55 for 2). The flavors, warmth and presentation were pure comfort. The dessert gulkand mousse with rose and fennel is not to be missed. Anxious to try more from this menu.“

“Have eaten here for years and never taken the time to review but now's the time! Huge menu, food is very flavorful with generous portions (including the buffet), but perhaps most importantly the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and efficient (it's difficult to get to the bottom of your water glass as they are always returning to fill it up!) Suel is particularly friendly with a good sense of humor! We love Masala and give it our highest recommendation without hesitation!“

“What excellent customer service I received today from Baljid, the man who picked up the phone when I called. My friend is stuck in UW Medical Center up the street and was craving butter chicken. Was confused with grub hub/uber eats so i decided to call. BALJID picked up and took my order. Even suggested dishes. I ended up ordering butter chicken with extra sauce and rice, pakora, and garlic naan. The chef cooked the food to perfection. The staff/delivery staff followed my detailed instructions of how to get the food to my friend in the hospital. Within the hour I got notification, my friend received the delicious food and was so joyful and happy. She wrote back: "HUGE PORTIONS!!! Only thing missing was you!" awwww!!! Thank you BALJID and Jewel Of India for helping me make my friends day with some delicious indian food.“

“Annapurna Cafe was a hit! My first time there, we had a reservation, and I felt like I was back in Kathmandu, Nepal, just a little bit. The host (owner) and servers immediately got us seated. The vibe and decor is done nicely. The food that we had was excellent. Samosas and garlic naan for appetizers, jhol ko momo (Nepali dumplings in soup) and tofu curry with rice were all tasty. My first bite of the momo made me feel like I was home again. Reasonably priced too and the service is awesome. I'll be heading back soon.“

“First time at spice wala and I am definitely coming back for the chicken tikka roll and the aloo tikki chaat. The chicken was marinated and prepared so well. Maza aa gaya khake. It was masaledar, chatpata and had the perfect tikka flavor. The aloo tikki is the closest to authentic Indian aloo tikki I have had in the US. It would have been even better had it been crispy from outside - the crispiness you get from cooking the tikki in ghee but at least the aloo filling tasted quite authentic. Also tried their lamb kebab roll which again was really good. It was quite filling because it had a good amount of lamb kebab inside. And how can I not mention the parle-g twist with chai. The chai has dominant cardamom taste in case somebody doesn't like cardamom in their tea. But the best part was that we were asked if we would like parle-g with it and who can say no to it ? Had a great time enjoying the taste of Indian street food. Thank you!!!Vegetarian options: The roll has 2 non-veg options (chicken and lamb). The rest of the menu is veg.“

“Where do I even start? The greeting by the very nice woman right when you walked in the door really set the mood along with the smell of amazing food. The young man had water brought out to us before we were even seated which that type of service is unheard of now a days! We ordered The Onion Bhaji, Vegetable Samosa, House Salad, Garlic & Basil Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Saag Paneer. All the food was a solid 10/10 and wish I could rate even higher. The service we received from the family who owns Tandoori Hut was something like I have never seen before. Such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I will defiantly be going back and kudos to the chef as well!!!“

“Ordered Papdi Chat and chicken tikka roll. Chicken Tikka roll was good- love the amount of chicken stuffing and flavour. The chapati/roll was also surprisingly very soft.We ordered a take out and I was very impressed with how well they packed Papdi Chat. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of this. My experience would have been 5/5 if only the aloo was not undercooked.Recommend this place for a quick snack or chai pe charcha.“

“Our group was 5 people. We ordered 4 plates of curry chicken, 3 plates of chili chicken and 3 garlic naan because it was so good that we had to add more.Especially the rice is really delicious. If I order the level of spiciness of the food, I can have a great meal that suits my taste better.Everyone in the party said it was delicious and said they would come again with other friends. The restaurant was very thankful and was great. The atmosphere was good. The kindness and passion of the young and handsome owner as he helps with ordering and paying is wonderful.Dessert cake was served as a service, and even the dessert was delicious.I visited this place last Saturday too.6 people will visit this place tomorrow too.We are happy to have met a good place.April 30, 2024 I update and attach photos.Parking: This restaurant has its own parking lot. However, you must park on the street during meal times because many people flock there.Kid-friendliness: No problem. “Every time we visit Seattle we make a point of having dinner at Mother India, the food is so good! We ordered the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka and the Karahi Gosht all mild, because that’s all we can do :)One order of garlic and plain Naan, more than enough for three people! The service is good, they asked level of spice, and kept the glass of water full, it is a no frills restaurant but with food this good, I don’t need frills.“

“My experience at Caravan Kebab was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant offers a delightful blend of Middle Eastern and international cuisines, providing a culinary adventure for the taste buds. Not only were the prices very reasonable for the high quality of food and service provided, but the dishes themselves were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. I had the pleasure of trying the Caravan Kebab special, which was absolutely delicious and offered a wide variety of flavors. Additionally, the garlic Nun was a amazing in taste and texture. The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. The decor was both simple and traditional, creating a cozy and welcoming environment. To complement my meal, I enjoyed a refreshing Mango Lassi, which perfectly complemented the bold flavors of the dishes.Overall, I can't recommend Caravan Kebab enough. I left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit. “This is my second visit to Roti. It has become our traditional dinner spot ahead of a Kraken game. Located on Queen Anne Ave, Roti is open 11:00a-2:30p for lunch service. They close down to switch over for dinner and reopen at 4pm for dinner service. As we approached we could smell the food all the way over by the Metropolitan Market, and our mouths started watering. We had no wait to be seated. We love that the leave a pitcher of water at the table. We decided on an appetizer, and normally we start with the samosas appetizer. Tonight we chose to mix it up and order the Chili Paneer - paneer sautéed with onions, bell peppers in this amazing chili sauce! It does have a mild kick, but it is not overpowering. I would recommend. The hubby had the Lamb Vindaloo at level 3 (hot). I ordered the Mango Chicken also at a level 3 heat (hot). Both were amazing and full of flavor. We also ordered Garlic naan and I had a mug of the Chai. A note about the chai - it is served unsweetened with sweetener provided. I absolutely loved it unsweetened. Overall, dinner was amazing and we look forward to coming back. The staff was attentive to our needs, but not overly so. They even offered some recommendations for future visits. So, if you are up near Queen Anne Ave and are looking for some amazing Indian food please check out Roti.Parking: There are several paid lots in the area“

“We were looking for something new, comforting and close. My partner is from Nagpur and taught himself to cook to bring back flavors of home when he moved here years ago. “Can’t say enough about this restaurant. My boyfriend and I heard good things, and we were not disappointed! My 5 ⭐️ was earned by the impeccable service by our server Ravi, and also that it wasn’t just one dish that was phenomenal, but the fact that EVERY SINGLE THING we ordered was perfection! Ravi made excellent recommendations, was so attentive, and so were his coworkers. From being sat promptly all the way to getting a rice pudding on the house! (HIGHLY recommend the pudding, there’s nothing like it!) They have their customer service perfected! Our drinks were never empty, our food was delivered with expert timing, and the chef seasoned and cooked better than any place we’ve been to! The meat was tender and melted in your mouth and the dishes so flavorful! We have lived in Seattle for over a decade, and this is our new favorite place to dine... We can’t wait to come back for more! Thank you Ravi, chef, and everyone there for making our experience memorable ?“

“The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.“

“Our hotel was a couple blocks away from this place. We just recently started eating Indian food and I wanted to try out this place based on the reviews. We got it to go as we had just gotten into town and wanted to eat it at the hotel. Pay no mind to the styrofoam bowls and plastic cutlery, it’s what our hotel had handy to use. My husband got the butter chicken and I got the goat Rogan Josh. I love that they had goat available. We also got an order of bullet naan to split. The food was piping hot and plenty. We had enough to eat the next day for breakfast. This place gets bonus points for having goat on the menu! It was delicious as other reviews have said. With the construction, we drove there instead of walked. We ordered curried goat, lamb vindaloo extra spicy- raita, stuffed kulcha, basmati and brown rice and I have two glasses of Indian wine, one rose and one Cabernet. I especially love the rosé. The chef came out to talk to us afterward and told us that the goat is fresh from a local butcher. And all of his food are traditional Indian. He was a most friendly and nice person.“

“The food is ok. Nothing extra ordinary, but its really difficult for me to understand why they add 18% tips by default. Even for group of 4 or just one person for that matter. “From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, adorned with charming decor and soft lighting. The menu boasted an impressive array of dishes, promising a culinary adventure that had our taste buds tingling with anticipation. However, upon sampling the fare, we were left underwhelmed by the lackluster flavors and uninspired presentation. Despite the attentive service and pleasant ambiance, the overall dining experience was overshadowed by the mediocrity of the food. While the restaurant certainly has potential, it falls short of delivering the exceptional dining experience it advertises.“

“Growing up in Bangalore, the birthplace of authentic Dose(not Dosa), I was longing for good dose until I came across The Bangalore Kitchen. The huge line every weekend is a testimony for the authenticity in the taste. Will go there again and again just to eat the Dose. Please don’t change the menu, especially the Benne Masale ?“
