“I inquired for them to make us a Yule-log cake for my mother’s Solstice party and we were able to very easily have a conversation about our wish as to the results. I felt we were on the same page and contacted. Not only was the result ready on time, clear instructions given but they blew it out of the park! It was the most beautiful exceptional cake I have ever seen and every thing was eatable and delicious! I can not recommend a better bakery for something so special!! My picture will not do it the justice it so clearly deserves but this is definitely not just a cake but a masterpiece! Thank you!“

“SLUYS BAKERY — ICONIC, LEGENDARY, MAYBE THE BEST IN THE HISTORY OF KITSAP. People line up at 6 AM, rain or shine, and why? Because they want the VIKING CUPS. Big, beautiful, massive Viking Cups. Not small, not weak, but HUGE — maybe the biggest cups you’ve ever seen. They’re sweet, they’re powerful, they’re worth every minute of the wait. People come up to me, they say, ‘Sir, sir, how do you get one?’ And I tell them — you get in line, you wait, you hope. Because when you finally hold that Viking Cup, you’re holding greatness. So yes, Sluys is tremendous, the Viking Cups are historic, and Poulsbo is winning. VERY STRONG, VERY BEAUTIFUL, VERY BIG CUPS!!!“

“We ordered a dish that we wanted to have a bit more sauce. Everything is made to order and would have taken a minute. Another order was placed for Tikki Masala and they made extra for us. Little things make a business shine. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner.“

“I came in right as they opened today and was welcomed right away. I ordered a Raspberry Jalisco Mule and Tortilla Soup with shredded chicken. I have to say the soup was one of the best tortilla soups I have had in a long time. you were even able to choose your flavors and spice level because a plate was brought out with tortillas, limes, onions, cilantro, chili crisp, avocado, jalapeno, and I don't remember the other seasoning but it was phenomenal. I can't wait to try more of the menu and continue to support local! Diablo's is definitely a place that should be on everyone's list to at least try and then frequent.“

“Everything we’ve ever had here has been fantastic. The environment is top notch and the employees from owner down are always awesome. Checked out the new brunch menu today. Got two orders of the banana bread French toast and it was incredible. Sunday is always our takeout breakfast day and my daughter said “this is the best thing the little pancake house has ever made” (normally gets pancakes from next door) I told her where it came from and she now has a new favorite breakfast spot.“

“I eat smaller portions. I don't like paying for a large meal and taking over half of it home. NEVER have I been denied purchasing a kids meal at any restaurant. But they did. How do they know it isn't for my kid? I do have a lot of those too. Literally they said...."it's how we keep the costs down." Keep the costs down?? To add a small grilled chicken breast to a small side salad it was going be an additional $5.50. Side salad is about $7.50. So nearly $15 for side salad. Then recommended gut bomb after gut bomb. lame. Bleh. just frustrated. I would have ordered the kids meal and a shake so they still would have made money. Instead I ordered nothing. I drank some water, sat in a booth with friends, and will eat at home.“

“A girlfriend and I met for breakfast at a different port orchard location. Despite the sign on the door displaying their hours as being open, the lights were on, the place was empty, and the doors were still locked. We left and decided to take a chance going to the family pancake house just up the street. Though it seemed early to me on a Saturday morning (9:15 am) the place was buzzing, there were bright eyes, smiling faces, and tables filling with people of all ages from small children to seniors. There was no wait, as the seating is plenty. Our server was a familiar, friendly face and we felt welcome to be there. The menu had many delicious options and was accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Everything about this place made me love Port Orchard that much more. And instead of leaving a poor review for the other restaurant, I felt compelled to leave a raving one here instead!“

“I stopped in during a casual walk of downtown Bremerton for a mocha. I chatted with long-time friend and owner Cindi about owning a business at her location. This place is warm and welcoming and has become a fixture of this busy corner of the world. The retro-pub vibe is a nice break from the ”we are the newest, come in here” cafes in the area. And the menu and selection of tasty treats is extensive and spot on. A mellow break from the real world.“

“Skip this place. I went here twice well within their posted business hours and was turned away both times. Gave em another chance and went in for the asada fries. Price was $11.99 clearly stated on the menu. I was charged $14.99 at the register. I asked why and the guy just chuckled and said they just haven't changed their prices yet. My friend has been going here for awhile and he told me it's been over a year and they haven't changed their pricing on the menu but overcharge you at the register. This is highly unethical, deceiving and just plain bad business. You won't see me in this rip off joint ever again. Fix your menu prices. I feel like you're stealing and if I can find someone to report you to, I'm gonna ✌️“

“Had never been to Seabeck before and decided to get a slice of pizza at the Seabeck Pizza stand, took a little while but was worth the wait. No seating inside so we ate on the deck with a great view of the water. Pizza was great and had to be one of the best I've ate in Washington. I'm from Brooklyn originally, so I know a little about pizza, lol. Found out they have several locations and one closer to home, we'll be back.“

“Starbucks now preferences online orders over people who bother to walk in for service. You’ve got it wrong Starbucks. An empty lobby does not mean fast service, it means after 15 minutes while baristas prepare orders for people off of their phone. Is that what we really come to? I’ll go to the locally owned and operated drive-through any day“

“I don’t write reviews lightly, but this one is earned.
Over the past twelve months, I’ve made one of the most positive physical transformations of my life. At 55 years old, I’m stronger, leaner, and healthier than I’ve been in decades. And a huge part of that progress is due to the guidance, expertise, and genuine support from the team at MAXX Nutrition.
From day one, the recommendations weren’t about selling products — they were about understanding my goals, my training, my age, and what would actually move the needle for long-term health and performance. Every supplement suggestion was thoughtful. Every conversation felt intentional. Every visit felt encouraging.
What stands out most is the customer support. It’s rare to find a place where the staff truly care about your progress. They remember where you’re at. They celebrate wins. They adjust recommendations as you evolve. That kind of support makes discipline sustainable.
If you care about your healthspan, your strength, your longevity, or simply feeling better in your own skin — this is the place. The guidance here is potent. The integrity is real. And the impact is measurable.
Thank you for being part of this journey. It shows.“
