It’s a cool place. The wait was longer than I wanted but it wasn’t bad.

I ordered a burger and it was good but I was expecting it to be larger than it was. I was a little disappointed in the cost-to-size ratio.

If you want a good burger, this is a fine place, just don’t expect to get a large meal at a good price/. You’ll get a meal at a more costly price and you’ll pay extra for sauces.“

“Enjoyed several visits here during our vacation stay in Whidbey. It quickly became our go-to morning stop due to friendly staff and good coffee and pastries. Waiting area outside was nice for the whole family. They were genuine and kind, interacted with our kids (five of them), and made us feel welcome. Their coffee was also very good. They even took the extra time to make some good island visit recommendations. We are so grateful we tried this place on day one!“

“Overall a nice place to eat. I got a steak dish and it was delicious. The bread on the side was also very nice and flaky. However the $8 price for the sides is too high in my opinion, I'd be okay if they made the main dishes more expensive and the sides cheaper. I'm unlikely to go back and eat in person due to the prices, but if you got one of the main meat dishes and then made the sides at home, the take out might be a good option since the price of the main dishes is good.“

“Super happily and comfortably spent the afternoon writing my thesis at Red Door, and I must say that the tables are well-organised for coffee chats or any form of remote work or study.

The owner was extremely courteous and kind, and gave me a free shot of espresso when they did not have enough batch brew for my order.

We waited in line for roughly 15 minutes just to order and there were only 2 ppl in front of us. Then another 55+ minutes to get our food. When we got it home, fries and O-rings were BURNT. I'm so disappointed.“

“We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

“I have had some pretty dry, salty and greasy street tacos before so I pretty much swore off them. So many of my coworkers rave about this place, so finally I gave in and tried them out.
I must say, I am so glad that I did! They were the most flavorful, juicy, tender I have had! And there tamales...pack with meat! Unlike others I tried where you woukd have to search for the meat!
The street tacos were so good, that i had to try the lengua. Why did I do that?? The meat tender, flavorful and rich! Thinking that they are the same at other places, I tried another taco truck near my home town...🤮, tasted like tuff chewy liver. Learned my lesson!!

“I stopped in here at about noon and got myself a mudslide frapper, with whip of course. Abby(i think that was her name) was working at the drive through. As I’m waiting for my drink she asked me about my 4th of July(America’s 250th birthday) and I told her how I was glad my neighbors didn’t have an explosion when a stray Roman candle shot into the back of their mortar loaded pickup. Anyway, Abby was genuine and made the couple minutes I spent waiting for the frapper enjoyable. Apparently the Seattle freeze hasn’t spread to the great city of Everett.“
