Not only did they provide a delicious customized menu within our budget, but they made everything so easy for us. The entire experience was seamless. There was a mix-up with our drink vendor and when we found ourselves without coffee, water, or non-alcoholic drinks, Twelve Baskets took care of everything and our guests had no clue anything went wrong. “I have purchased the Paella del mar, i.e. seafood paella, from Paella House for probably over a decade. They are caterers and do pop-ups at various festivals throughout the greater Seattle area. My latest purchase is from the University Street Fair this past weekend. On their website, they write “to provide the most authentic Paella, we incorporate world-class saffron from Castilla La Mancha, bomba rice grown in Valencia, and Spanish-imported essentials like extra virgin olive oil and sweet-smoked paprika.” The quality and flavors of their food are always consistently reliable and delicious. During festivals, they often offer only Paella del mar, their most popular version, keeping two to three giant pans cooking and warm at the same time. I love looking at their cooking process.

They charge $17 for the seafood paella, cashless, accepting credit cards and digital payments only. During busy weekends, they may run out of select seafood ingredients.“

“Extra points for being right across from the light rail. We were here for Japan Fair, and it’s a nice, mid-size venue. There were different presentations, stages, food vendors, and booths, and it never felt claustrophobic. Overall, seems to be a well-organized venue.“

“I've always had a nice experience at Viva Jalisco. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere with authentic Mexican vibes. The food is always good—I particularly enjoy the Enchiladas Jalisco, the tortilla soup, and the carne asada. Their horchata is also a solid choice. For dessert, the authentic flan is delicious and worth trying. The staff is friendly, and in my experience, the pricing feels reasonable.“

“Sushi Blue is not for those who expect to be catered to. This is tremendous value sushi with great flavor, assembled for someone with a giant mouth or a dexterous set of hands and cutlery. I order the sake roll once a week or so, which gives me two-to-three meals. The wasabi is beautifully strong and flavorful. You cannot call ahead or order by phone or website. If you want it, you need to show up personally and order it. The speed of service is unmatched when they are available. When they get too many orders in, they temporarily close up shop until they catch up. The value and flavor of Sushi Blue far outweighs the inconvenience of the difficulty in ordering from them. The woman who runs the shop is very kind and pleasant. These folks work hard to provide good value and great taste!“
