“We love The Blue Heron & usually go on a Weds night for fish. This past Saturday we went to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We ordered the Sat Special. 2 ,8oz strips steaks, soup, salad, garlic mashed potatoes & a dessert to split, $54.99. Wow! Not only was the food awesome for a great price, the staff was awesome too. In my opinion this is the best place for quality cocktails, food & service at a great price. Special shout out for their home made blue cheese salad dressing. Might be the best I have ever had. “I only order the "Jalapeno Popper" from Mac's in Brookfield. Over half the time I order it they don't put in any jalapenos or they put in next to none. How hard is it to properly make this dish? It is super hard to add jalapenos to the JALAPENO popper? After the 3rd order it happened I brought it back. The manager stated, I quote, "There are jalapenos all up in there" while pointing to two small pieces in the ENTIRE DISH. Done wasting my time and money with this location that can't make a simple Mac and Cheese. Pathetic.“

“We used The Suburban Bourbon / Three Legged Pig for our Wedding on 9/3 at the South Shore Pavilion in MKE and I cannot recommend this place more, 10 out of 10! We ran into a catering glitch 2 months before the big day and found this business- the owner Pete swooped in to save the day! He was extremely responsive, helpful, friendly and FUNNY and helped make it one of the best days ever! Everyone LOVED the BBQ, mac and cheese, CHIPS and late night paninis. The food and service was SPOT ON! They also accommodated our vegetarian and GF friends :-) I will always call this a serendipitous encounter and I am so happy to have found The Suburban Bourban/ Three Legged Pig/ Pete and the whole crew, thank you all!“

“Went for the Friday fish fry with the family. As most places it was busy around dinner time on a Friday (30 minute wait). A young lady pointed us over to the hostess table which is on the opposite wall of the entrance. Once seated server was there almost instantly. Drink and appetizer order was taken immediately. Wisconsin cheese curds were light and stringy, our boys loved them. Chicken wings were good, crispy where sauce wasn’t applied, think I might actually like them better this way. Grilled shrimp was ordered by a few of the family and they were large compared to most other places. Red potatoes were soft and well seasoned. Baked Cod fish fry was great, potato pancakes were also softer and not greasy. Will be returning again.“

They have a family deal that works out perfect for two couples.....Their deck overlooking the golf course is so relaxing, and great to use when the weather is nice....The beer batter fish are nice sized pieces, and is plenty for the average person....Great choices for sides, including some amazing mashed potatoes, glazed carrots(My Favorite), and potato pancakes in addition to fries......Give it a try! “We had a great breakfast! The breakfast sandwich was great and had a perfect mixture, I’m still thinking about it! It is a classic diner, not the biggest seating area and the tables definitely are showing some wear and tear, but the food is good.“

“Every covers I ever go to in the inner city is very stingy with their toppings on ice cream. Customer service sucks. They always have an attitude if you don’t like your job don’t work here. If you can’t do customer service don’t work customer service with that being said, I definitely would be traveling all the way out here to go to culvers cause I love Culver’s.“

“Went to Cotton Exchange for their Bunch on Sunday. It was great. They even had prime rib sliced along with the regular breakfast sides. The eggs are made individually for you how you want them done. They had salad, desserts, spaghetti, beef and noodles, chicken and many other dishes. It was very reasonable priced. Party of 6 with 2 children and bill was only $107.
It was so good my husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary 2 weeks later after looking at pricing for steaks at closer establishments. We made the right decision. I had Steak Oscar and my husband had a 10 oz Filet. It came with salad or soup, vegetables, rolls and baked potatoes. It was awesome. They only purchase the top beef from approved sources. Steaks were under $40. It my favorite restaurant and atmosphere is country with great wood design for warm and cozy feelings.“

“I got a chance to try Coach’s Reuben sandwich and the quesadilla with chicken. Reubens are one of my favorite sandwiches to order, so I can be a little picky about them. This one did not disappoint! The corned beef was the good stuff, shredded, no fatty bits mixed in, and it was really tender. The quesadilla surpassed my expectations for an appetizer. It was a really hearty quesadilla with a tasty mix of fillings and toppings, and I would definitely order it again!“

“Stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. Got a table right away even though they were pretty busy. However, we were told due to the many in person and online orders, any food orders would take 45 minutes. And it did, we got drinks and just waited. Would have been nice for a basket of chips or something but it's fine.

The food was pretty good, ordered burgers and wings. Burgers were cooked perfectly. Wings were really good too. Service was great, very friendly and checked on us often. Would definitely go back, just be prepared there might be a wait.“

“Shanahan’s has been my favorite place to treat myself since we moved to Mukwonago. I had to give up dairy several years ago temporarily and that was how I found them but I continued to visit when I discovered that everything is delicious! Recently I treated myself to a GF/Vegan Key Lime pie, which I had never tried. “Regular” key lime pie is one of my favorite desserts and I’ve never had a GF/vegan version. It was the best key lime pie I’ve ever had anywhere! My kids saw the GF/vegan label and said “eh no thanks mom” but when I opened the box they changed their mind. That pie didn’t last 24 hours in our house! My go to drink is their Azteca but their oat milk chai is also delicious! Oh and if you’re looking for catering, try them! We had a small meeting catered about a year and a half ago where people from all across SE Wisconsin attended and I still get comments about the food from Shanahans!“

“I was at this location around 9PM 8/22/25. There was an issue with one of the items that I had ordered. I spoke to the manager, a lovely young lady with glasses and blonde hair (didn’t catch your name. She didn’t have a name tag on). She identified herself as the manager and I explained to her the situation and she did the unexpected and that was to make it right and then some. I would just like to let either the owner or upper management know that this young woman truly represented the Culver’s business culture and she should be commended for her leadership at the store. I’d like to thank her again because she provided some of the best customer service I received at any type of establishment in a very long time.“

“We picked up the hand breaded fried cod with fries and potato pancakes. I have never had a take out fish fry that I’ve loved after getting it home, until now. WOW. The breading was crunchy, cod was cooked perfectly, it came with a delicious coleslaw, rye bread, tarter sauce (yum!), applesauce and lemon. This is absolutely a top 3 fish fry for me. We can wait to go back!!!“

“Let’s start with 5 stars***** We visited Tally’s Tap on Wednesday October 8, 2025. This was our first visit. We spoke to a man on the way in, and he recommended the BBQ Ribs which was the ‘Homemade Dinner’ special - his name was Stan (a once a week regular). Inside we were promptly seated, and it was busy, with a full parking lot. Mike was our great waiter, and we also met Chad (another super friendly and knowledgeable waiter). I ordered a full rack of ribs, with Mac and cheese, fresh green beans, and corn bread for $24 (I think). Stan and Chad were right - the ribs were super tender, great BBQ sauce. I shared them with my husband and daughter and we all felt they were absolutely outstanding. Corn bread was very tasty as was the Mac and cheese. My husband ordered a wrap with grilled portobello, and a cilantro sauce - he said it was good. My daughter ordered a salad, with fried chicken sliced on top, and substituted the menu dressing for the green goddess. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a lovely first visit, and we will be back! Thanks to the employees, and owners for making this such a great experience. By the way - I am very picky. I know good food because I worked in some great restaurants on the East Coast. It is tough to have me really love a meal - but you guys made that happen!“

“I met my current girlfriend at this location 18 years ago, and used to frequent here a lot before moving out of town. We stopped in after a concert in Milwaukee on Saturday and the food was honestly better than I remembered and we had a good conversation with the young man serving. If only Webbs could take root in Madison!“
