“Tello's ( pronounced Tay-o's)is now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, daily at 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., and is my favorite breakfast place. From their omelettes to their pancakes to their breakfast skillets, their food is always excellent, and the service is matched. Their willingness to adapt to the needs of diners is remarkable as well. With busy friends who are retired, breakfast is our favorite social meal of the day, for we then have the rest of the day for other activities. Tello's involvement in community activities is notable. He supports Little League, and other activities, and was one of three major businesses who contributed to the Breakwater's painting during the pandemic, when they hung on by curb service and catering. I have heard that he throws pizza parties for kids. Be prepared whenever you dine here to take a "doggie" box home, which my dogs never get. The decor was designed and installed by a national artist, to reflect the Mexican countryside, and it is intriguing. This is a casual family place with excellent Mexican, Greek, and American food, and a children's menu is available, served with crayons. Tello's is handicapped accessible from the parking lot, and there is outdoor dining, weather permitting. A private dining room is available, and there is dining also in the bar. I am an almost weekly customer, and have never had a negative experience there. I recommend it.“

“We are from the Chicago area and thought we would try this restaurant. I can tell you this was by far the best authentic Mexican food we have had. The flavors of the sauces, meats everything were amazing. The service was exceptional as well.as the atmosphere. Next time we are in the area this is a must for us.“

“Everything was fine until the bill came. The waitress not only charged our card with our bill (275.19) but also charged someone else's bill (119.00) to our card. She said she removed the $119 from our card. When we got notified about our charge, our tip wasn't on it. She left off her $52 tip!!!“

“Great restaurant. Tons of vegetarian and vegan stuff. They also have a lot of non-vegetarian items too, so someone with any type of diet could find something they like. Convenient location because it's very close to the Laundromat, so you can get tacos to go while your clothes wash and eat them while your clothes dry.“

“We call and order ahead for pickup about once a month. Great food at a great price. We always add rice, beans and elote and it does not disappoint! The owners are very nice and always on top of everything. Reminder if you go, Cash only!Kid-friendliness: The chicken and cheese quesadilla is a winner for out kids, packed full but does not fall apart! And not spicy for the kiddos to eat.“

“Be more attentive to customers at the bar and ask staff for help if needed. Waited 25 minutes just to get menus. When the bartender finally came with them and we told her we ordered online since we never got them...it went downhill from then on. Never again!“

“Street truck in Brown Deer. They've become a great week night punt for dinner. Excellent street tacos. The meat is crispy on the outside still soft inside and well seasoned. The 20 taco platter is a good deal for a family of 4.Wheelchair accessibility: The order window is quite high for a standing adult.“

“Our dinner and drinks were excellent. Very authentic Mexican food. The staff were super friendly. I felt like they had already known us as past patrons and it was the first time we ate at the restaurant. It is a very small restaurant, but very quaint and comfortable. Just get there early as it fills up fast. I believe the restaurant limit holds approximately 99 people. We will definitely dine at this restaurant again!“

“They have a great bar list. The mini drink flights are tasty and fun. Nachoes werent your typical piled high ones like you'd expect. They were very creative and delicious. Their chips are served warm with their own homemade seasoning. The tacos are amazingly delicious. The alioli and mexican slaw was perfect to top them with. The brisket tacos are the best I've ever had. Next time I plan on trying the enchiladas. Everything was great. We did end up spending about $100.00 in total for 2 people, but it was totally worth it. The service was friendly and attentive aswell.“
