“Java Vino was hoppin today. Despite being so busy the service was stellar and the food was epic. I got the curried chicken salad sandwich today and it was out of this world. I highly recommend Java Vino. Even if they quote a wait time, it’s worth the wait.“

“Girls weekend in LaCrosse. Asked our server at a pizzeria on Saturday night for a recommendation for breakfast on Sunday morning. He recommended Rosie's. Old fashioned diner that does a brisk breakfast trade on weekends. Food was good, coffee was excellent and service was friendly and attentive. The pancakes were tinted green (we were there on St Patrick's Day) and were light and fluffy. I like a pancake that's heavier so these were a miss for me but their breakfast sausages and marbled bread toast were exceptional.“

“Stopped here tonight for dinner with my wife and all I can say is WOW!!! Best prime rib I ever had. My wife had the seafood platter and was also very happy with it. Our server Paula was absolutely amazing!! If we make a stop back on that side of LaCrosse, we will definitely return!!“

“A must stop if you are in the area! We had the best Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich and Blue Balls appetizer (make sure to dip these in their signature sauce) made by their cook Mary, who clearly has the passion for what she does! “Made with love” is what she said and you need see it for yourself. Amazing service at their friendly bartender, Jessie. We came for a quick meal and drink and we ended up leaving with our bellies and heart full. We came in as strangers and left as friends. Thank you Mary and Jessie! We will be back!“

“Stopped in on German night. The food was tasty but took a while to get, which was OK because we were sipping beers. Wait staff was fun (wearing traditional dresses) and mostly attentive. I believe we hit shift change as our server changed. Nice selection of beers. Atmosphere was great! Will definitely be back.“

“Great establishment! The staff was attentive and my food was 10/10 (fish and chips). I was accompanied by my grandfather and he said his Kickin' Shrip Tacos were great, "very tasty mango salsa". Great atmosphere and ice cold beer. 5 stars!“

“We had breakfast there today. Biscuits with sausage gravy and an egg on top. It was very good. The atmosphere was worth the visit. The inside was very well done with vintage decor and western decor. The most amazing decor was Berador cooler. The best part of the visit was the amazing young bartender/server. She has a great personality and made us feel very welcome. The Stockyard is a must trip for anyone that wants great service, food and atmosphere. We most definitely will go back.“

“When you think of a 'Good Ol' Wisconsin Supper Club' Rocky's is it. A family owned and run business that appreciates their customers. The oval shaped bar greets you as soon as you walk in to have an old fashioned while you wait for your table. The dining room may be small and can get loud at times, but just enjoy your cocktail and conversate with those around you or people watch. Really anything on the menu is a solid choice- from batter-fried fish to steak. Try their homemade blue cheese dressing. Can't forgot an order of their cheescurds either. Top the night with a ice cream dessert drink and you're set. Expect at least 1 hour in total. Can't wait to try their outdoor patio seating in the summer and keep an eye on their social media (Facebook) for music opportunities.Parking: They do have a side parking lot but on busy nights it can get pretty crowded! Plenty of street parking around it as well.“

“Well worth the 30 minute drive from Viroqua. Top quality burgers, fries, and onion rings.Only complaint is that this establishment remains one of the few that won't accept credit or debit cards. (and I haven't written a check in over 10 years)“
