“Was never to Oscars before. I didn't expect that I'd be eating the greatest burger I've had in my Life. Meat was thick and juicy. Bun was clean and soft. Onion rings were hot with a firm dense crust. My friend and I were almost in disbelief. Staff was incredibly polite. Clientele, (place was packed), were well-mannered. I'll definitely be back. 10/10“

“Great service especially during Brewer pre-game! Bartenders are on top of their game and food service is quick as well. Most of the food is really good (although I did not care for the southwest eggrolls...mushy and seemed like something id get at a gas station). Brewer Shuttles are FAST and theres always several running back to back.“

“Fantastic place for fancy drinks and food. The tahini miso noodle bowl was AMAZING. Vegan, vegetarian, and GF options are clearly labeled. and they have a great selection of nice cocktails too! Also tap beer, mocktails and thc options. Can get crowded and busy at night, but mid afternoon on a weekday is perfect.“

The items on display are one of a kind, and knowledge the bar owners have about this establishment and the items on display is rare these days. “Im glad it's here! Seems like menu change complaints from a few months ago were at least partially fixed cuz I saw brunch on the menu and I ate the Tait burger. Fries need help and chicken tenders were cut wrong, but had a delicious breading.“

“I at one time would recommend this place and I still do recommend this place. I just feel like well. Skyler told me that she did not like my attitude now I am 63 years old. I don’t have an attitude. I’ve been going there for three years because she chose to have a big meeting about me because I had attitude. I hate to use the word races even though I believe the owner is Hispanic, but she controls everything in the front one time she took it upon herself to order us my husband and I a fish fry day And she stood there and she told me three times. I will not serve you because you have attitude. My name is Lisa Sandoval and sometimes I feel like well. Some people like tacos and other people don’t wanna deal with the taco makers and Skyler karma is and will come back to you.“

The buffet food was amazing...thank you Mama Lisa....the wait staff (Lindsey and Lindsay😁) were attentive and very helpful..and the bartenders Joe and Becky took care of us! “Went for the first time today for a doggo lunch date with muh fur baby. Wonderful staff and quick service. I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“

Today, I finally had the chance to step into Jerseys Pub and Grill for my first official Fish Fry Lunch of Lent 2025! It's located at 4024 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207, and let me tell you – I’ve passed by this place countless times, but today, I finally got to experience it! What a hidden gem it turned out to be!
It all started when I met the owner, who just so happens to have a son at the same elementary school as my own. That’s when I discovered their Friday Fish Fry – a perfect addition to my Fish Fry Bucket List.
Now, let's dive into the mouthwatering menu options they offer on Fridays:
* Cod Fish Fry: Freshly cut lemon wedge, slaw, rye bread, and your choice of fries, potato wedges, or tater tots, all for $13.
* Fish Sandwich: Served with your choice of potato for $10.
* Shrimp Tacos: A flavorful delight for $9.50.
* Fish Tacos: Tasty and satisfying for $9.50.
* Shrimp Basket: Perfect for seafood lovers at $11.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the owner’s warm and friendly demeanor – she made me feel right at home. Her impeccable service really set the tone for the whole experience.
As for the food – WOW! I was served three generously-sized pieces of cod, perfectly battered with just the right amount of crispiness, yet not oily at all (huge win!). I went with the potato wedges, and they were on point – golden brown, crispy on the outside, and warm & fluffy on the inside. The slaw wasn’t the creamy type I usually prefer, but it had a delightful, crisp flavor that paired perfectly with everything else.
All in all, this was a fantastic Fish Fry Lunch that I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area and craving something new! Another Milwaukee gem to add to your list.“

While construction makes it a wee bit hard to park at present, our dining and bar experiences rival many places in Tosa we’ve frequented. You may want to beat the coming deluge of customers on this one, my friends, because once construction in the vicinity has ceased, it’s going to be a choice of: a.) valet parking; b.) walking or bicycle riding; c.) standing room only; d.) to-go, or; e.) Uber Eats, or similar delivery, to anywhere in the Milwaukee Metropolitan and surrounding area. You have been told: THE BEST FISH FRY/DINING-AT-A-BAR IN MILWAUKEE. Once Milwaukee Magazine and local news stations tout this delictable relaxing friendly dining scene, it’s party over if you don’t establish a rapport with your beautiful friendly bartenderess Shannon, your totally proficient and stunning waitress Jennifer, and the experts in the kitchen with whom we have yet to make their acquaintance. “What a fun place! Visited with another couple on Tuesday $3 burgers night (also turned out to be trivia night). Burgers were delightful quality! Atmosphere was so fun - and friendly, attentive service by Kyrie so wonderful - that we ended up staying much longer than we had planned - and came in 3rd in trivia! We will definitely go back!“
