“Xiao long bao and their special fujian wonton were delicious! The dumplings seem homemade and also tasty. The shrimp dumpling was not my favorite though. I feel like prices are a little high, but there arent a lot of Chinese restaurants to choose from in the area. Service was great.“

“Went there today for Easter dinner. Way easier than cooking. We pre-ordered and it was ready on time. Unfortunately, when we got home there were no sauces or fortune cookies. My friend called and they sent someone right away with no charge. Sure, the sauces should have been included to begin with, but they did make it right with a smile ☺. And, the food was terrific. “Since moving to the Falls in 2012, I began looking for the best Chinese food in the area, almost stumbled upon Chens restaurant while picking up mail at the Post Office. Even though they no longer had an open dining room due to Covid protocols, I did take that chance and ordered takeout. Oh, what a happy day! The ordered items were not only hot, fresh and plentiful, they were truly delicious! The staff there led by Simon, have always been a joy to interact with always attentive, and cheerful. The prices are reasonable. Did I mention the food is DELICIOUS 😋 ?!?! Best Chinese restaurant in Waukesha county. Did I mention the food is DELICIOUS😋“

“Have been ordering from this place since it opened and I have never been disappointed. It is one of the best American Chinese food places on this side of Wisconsin. The ingredients always taste fresh and delicious, with generous takeout portions. They don't skimp on the meat or seafood! I have kids that are picky eaters and they love the shrimp with broccoli and the egg rolls the most. My kid who always asks for only peanut butter sandwiches all day will quietly chow down on the rice and broccoli, then invite the shrimp to the belly party. Another of my kids didn't even know until today that egg rolls are full of cabbage (stuff she doesn't like to eat if I make it at home) and just raised her eyebrows and said "well I love cabbage then!" and continued to eat the whole egg roll up as usual.The staff are always polite and friendly, food is made to order and ready quickly. My family and I really enjoy the food and the takeout experience.“

They have one of the best beef lo meins around, flavorful crab rangoons, and reasonably priced combos. Their fried rice is one of our faves as well; as we prefer one without peas and carrots, and that's how it is here. Food is ready on time and is hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Very generous portions for 2 people...I think there were 12 pieces of fish! Pan fried noodles were delicious, and a massive portion size. The dumpling soup was light, clean, and the dumplings were savory. Har Gao were great, but definitely not as good as dim sum spots in Chicago. (Nothing compares to Ming Hin!) Will definitely be going back.“

“I have been going to Panda Hut in West Allis for decades. I love love love their food. When I worked at the VA our boss would often treat us to lunch specials. We'd pick it up and eat at work. That's how I was introduced to wonton soup. It's the best I've ever had. It comes in a quart, or a smaller container, but I could drink the whole quart by myself. Egg rolls are awesome. Shrimp egg foo young is awesome. Everything is awesome. Lo mein. Fried rice. Lemon chicken...Depending on your age, you may remember the store for young women called Three Sisters. That's what used to be in the Panda Hut. The tile is still in the entryway.“

It is a family owned business, and the owner is very nice and very friendly. I have eaten at the buffet with my son, and we have also ordered take out food. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious! Chicken Kow, sesame chicken and broccoli, orange chicken and the shrimp are all very delicious. I have tried other food items here, and I enjoyed all of them. There is lots of parking, and I highly recommend a visit to the Golden Gate Restaurant. There are also other shops in this center to enjoy. There is the Waukesha Antique Mall, Jo Mar Flowers, the Golden Salon, Kids Fashion, Lotus Massage Therapy, Farmers Insurance and a few others. “I ordered imperial eggrolls upon entering the facility. There was a very dense appearance and smell of old refrigeration. The hostess was very nice. The price was very good two dollars per egg roll and the eggrolls were basic. I go there again only if it was only option close to my home and I don’t feel like driving, I believe everyone agrees they need to clean up that place clear that smell and turn on some lights because lots of places turn off lights to hide infestation of mice and roaches, and we can only imagine what the kitchen looks likeMaybe that’s why the prices are so cheap but there’s hope simply shut it down, clean it up, clean the windows and doors when you first come in and people may start to come back because it is a very ideal location in terms of option for Chinese food culturally cooked versus Hong Kong express located nearby on the northwest side near 76 in good Hope in Mill Road
