“Went there today for Easter dinner. Way easier than cooking. We pre-ordered and it was ready on time. Unfortunately, when we got home there were no sauces or fortune cookies. My friend called and they sent someone right away with no charge. Sure, the sauces should have been included to begin with, but they did make it right with a smile ☺. And, the food was terrific. Great food and great customer service. Will definitely order again, and check for sauces next time. Thanks“

“Since moving to the Falls in 2012, I began looking for the best Chinese food in the area, almost stumbled upon Chens restaurant while picking up mail at the Post Office. Even though they no longer had an open dining room due to Covid protocols, I did take that chance and ordered takeout. Oh, what a happy day! The ordered items were not only hot, fresh and plentiful, they were truly delicious! The staff there led by Simon, have always been a joy to interact with always attentive, and cheerful. The prices are reasonable. Did I mention the food is DELICIOUS 😋 ?!?! Best Chinese restaurant in Waukesha county. Did I mention the food is DELICIOUS😋“

The service is truly excellent: they're always pleasant, the prices are reasonable, the order is always right, it's always ready on time (usually a little early in fact), always hot and fresh. When I'm ordering for the spouse and kids, or on the odd Thursday evening when I'm too tired to cook, and what I really need is for everyone to get what they expected, no surprises or delays or hassles, this is the place. The ingredients always taste fresh and delicious, with generous takeout portions. They don't skimp on the meat or seafood! My kid who always asks for only peanut butter sandwiches all day will quietly chow down on the rice and broccoli, then invite the shrimp to the belly party. “Incredibly legit northern Chinese restaurant. As an ABC (American born Chinese), I was literally the least Chinese person there when we went. Seems like the whole Chinese population in Milwaukee knows about this place, and it definitely deserves the recognition.

They have an extensive menu, but their northern style foods really stand out - dumplings, noodle/soup noodle dishes, and certain stir fries that are more specifically from northern China. Our favorites that we ordered were the 地三鲜 (eggplant, potato, and green pepper) and 麻辣汤米线 (spicy soup with noodles?).

Their food does seem to run on the salty side, but it’s also because it is mostly intended to go with white rice.

Will definitely be coming back.“

“I ordered imperial eggrolls upon entering the facility. There was a very dense appearance and smell of old refrigeration. The hostess was very nice. The price was very good two dollars per egg roll and the eggrolls were basic. I go there again only if it was only option close to my home and I don’t feel like driving, I believe everyone agrees they need to clean up that place clear that smell and turn on some lights because lots of places turn off lights to hide infestation of mice and roaches, and we can only imagine what the kitchen looks likeMaybe that’s why the prices are so cheap but there’s hope simply shut it down, clean it up, clean the windows and doors when you first come in and people may start to come back because it is a very ideal location in terms of option for Chinese food culturally cooked versus Hong Kong express located nearby on the northwest side near 76 in good Hope in Mill Road

“The exterior is so unassuming, boasting of red glass tiles and no windows. However, when you step inside, you are transported into a Cantonese inspired eatery. The ceiling tile was nicely arranged, and the seating and decor ties everything together beautifully. I noticed that each table was extendable in some way which I thought was really cool. I’m sure the functionality makes for great transitions when serving large parties.
As we sat down, we were greeted by two hosts, who provided wonderful service throughout our dinner. The young lady turned the channel to a Disney movie for our little ones, which really helped to curve their anxiousness while waiting.
I ordered the General Tso’s dinner which I finished in the restaurant, my mom and the littles ordered orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, cabbage, crab Rangoon and dumplings. The kids and I enjoyed our food, my mom felt more meh about the flavor.

Personally, I’ll go back. They stated they’re working on their liquor license so soon cocktails will be added to the menu which is an added bonus for a night out.“

“I have been going to Panda Hut in West Allis for decades. I love love love their food. When I worked at the VA our boss would often treat us to lunch specials. We'd pick it up and eat at work. That's how I was introduced to wonton soup. It's the best I've ever had. It comes in a quart, or a smaller container, but I could drink the whole quart by myself. Egg rolls are awesome. Shrimp egg foo young is awesome. Everything is awesome. Lo mein. Fried rice. Lemon chicken...Depending on your age, you may remember the store for young women called Three Sisters. That's what used to be in the Panda Hut. The tile is still in the entryway.“
