“New owners still getting their feet grounded. Sort of an unusual place. Mexican and Thai food. Talked with the owner, a very nice guy. They are still experimenting with the menu choices, based on the customer preferences. We would dine again.“
“First time trying this taco truck and it was AMAZING. Steak tacos, rice, Mexican corn all of them were fresh and cooked perfect. You can pay with cash or card and I only waited a couple minutes for my food, they have buzzers to call you back to the pickup window. The man working was extremely kind and had a good attitude. Will definitely be back again!“
“Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen in West Allis is a culinary gem offering exceptional food, cocktails, and service. From savory empanadas to tender carne asada, each dish celebrates Latin flavors with finesse. The cocktails, expertly crafted, add a delightful touch to the experience. The staff's warm hospitality makes every visit memorable. For a taste of Latin America in West Allis, Antigua is the place to be.“
“My fiancée has been bugging me to go to this place. I finally went without him and went with my best friend instead ?It was amazing. Great service, great service and the fried ice cream was fire. I really liked the food menu options as well.“
“Do you want a solid spot for Mexican food at great prices made by the same couple for years? This is the spot.Lunch enchiladas for 8.25 with rice and beans? Yes please. Steak burrito for 11 dollars loaded up? Everytime. It’s worth a weekly visit. Highly recommended. No reason to eat at a chain place like chipotle when Mara’s grill exists.“
“Just stopped after a basketball game in Butler, needed to grab a quick bite. Found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint! Ordered a pork carnitas quesadilla and was satisfied with the quality and potion size I received for $10.00. I would highly recommend this truck and will return when I get a chance.“
“Had an EXCELLENT breakfast yesterday! Got the Divorced Eggs and it was delicious! Loved the chilaquiles and especially the spicy green sauce. The staff was very friendly (sorry I was too distracted by the food to remember names!) This place was recommended to me and did not disappoint! Will definitely be back!“
“Loving the divey vibe and welcoming atmosphere from the staff members!I ordered their newly added fish filet sandwich with a side of onion rings.Thin and crispy batter on both the onion rings and fish filet. Tangy tartar sauce was an excellent flavor profile.Volume was huge so I saved the half for my late snack “
“We call and order ahead for pickup about once a month. Great food at a great price. We always add rice, beans and elote and it does not disappoint! The owners are very nice and always on top of everything. Reminder if you go, Cash only!Kid-friendliness: The chicken and cheese quesadilla is a winner for out kids, packed full but does not fall apart! And not spicy for the kiddos to eat.“
“Best taco truck around. Food is always delicious, hot and fresh! Today I got 2 amazing tacos for less than $6 which they can do Mexican or American style. They give you 2 different kinds of salsa and a couple limes. You can order over phone or walk up. They also have tons of other food options and are very friendly.Parking: Parking is street only but free and they are just across the sidewalk.“
“First time trying this place it's a small dining area and parking can be a bit of an issue since they're in a gas station parking lot, that is rather small. The food was fabulous. I had the taco dinner which on Tuesday was $17 for three tacos, a side of beans and rice as well as a free drink. The tacos I had were two ground beef, and one shredded pork they were very tasty. Really loved the seasoning on the shredded pork. The beans with the, cheese on top were fabulous. Mexican rice was cooked just right would definitely go back. The server was very attentive. They were just a little stingy on the ice for the ice water I requested for some reason other than that everything else was fantastic.“
“Nice spot, good value for the frozen drinks, food was good, service was excellent, the red diablo hot sauce was amazing! I couldn’t stop eating it on the chips and put it all over my chimichanga. Downed 3/4 a bottle in one sitting myself!!“
“We really enjoy the food here! The prices are fair and the quality and taste has been excellent each visit. The establishment is clean and we've always had friendly and prompt wait staff. We're looking forward to trying the lunch buffet!“
“Chilango Express has a streamlined menu of freshly prepared offerings. For point of comparison, expect it to be less greasy and more garlicky than the competition. If you want something different then order the consomme de borrego, the lamb soup, which has chickpeas, cilantro and carrots in it. I will come away from this place dreaming about their corn tortillas which are fluffy and soft, yet grilled. Clearly home made. The dining room is sunny and colorful-- the prices, friendly.“
“They knew two than three. The al pastor tacos did not have much flavor. But they were $1 on Tuesdays. The tacos were ok. They didn't really have much flavor, ordered the Al pastor tacos since they were $1 a taco on Tuesday. Good filler though.“
“Stopped in for lunch. Did takeaway and ordered an enchilada and a tostada with lengua. Fast take out, crispy tostada loaded up. Enchilada in mole sauce hit for this rainy day. Rice and beans rounded it out and I got a shot of guacamole. Tasty, fast and bonus with the lengua.“
“The food was good. The atmosphere was unique and cute. They didn't refill our drinks. Few staff who spoke no English. Hard to ask or communicate. Ordered the mixed meat fajita meal. Ordered extra steak meat. Had more chicken then steak. I did kindly ask if they had added extra steak n they said yes. Did not look like it but it is ehst it is.Parking: PlentyWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Great restaurant. Tons of vegetarian and vegan stuff. They also have a lot of non-vegetarian items too, so someone with any type of diet could find something they like. Convenient location because it's very close to the Laundromat, so you can get tacos to go while your clothes wash and eat them while your clothes dry.“
“ok. so we got food brought in to work. I got to lunch about an hour after it got there, no problem. the food was so good and such high quality, I didn't need to reheat it. that's right... ate it cold and it was still amazing! 5 Stars my friends, without a doubt.“
“One of the best Mexican food trucks I've had!! They have both Mexican and loaded tacos, the chicken and shredded beef were super flavorful. And fast service for ordering at lunch. Would definitely recommend trying this place and 100% would come again.“
“First timers! From the moment we walked in, extremely polite very patient with us, great recommendations from waitress, great specials and most importantly great food. i think it was the Owner came out very nice guy. Will definitely be back! Gracias Romero's Taco Truck!“
“I wish we could give 6 stars. If you're looking for catering for a wedding, Antigua is THE place to go. My now-husband and I were easy-going about almost all of our wedding decisions, but our number 1 priorities were our venue and food. We did not want the standard dishes offered at most weddings, we wanted something that stood out and represented our love for delicious food. We saw the many awards Antigua has earned when we went for our initial tasting and, after having tried their food and hired them for our wedding, we're baffled as to how they don't have many, many more. Citlali, the owner, has won our hearts and anyone thinking about getting married in the Milwaukee area MUST check Antigua out. She made everything so simple for us, and was present on our wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. The staff running food and clearing plates were superb for everything from appetizers to helping to set up the dessert station. Every single person at my wedding that I spoke to after dinner raved about the food. Run, don't walk, to Antigua and hope that they aren't already booked for your wedding day.“
“They were very attentive to our food allergy concerns and someone, I assume a manager, made sure to attend to the food personally to make sure no exposure to fish. Chicken fajitas were awesome big portions. Could easily be shared between two or three people each. Pulled pork was a little too spicy.“
“Simple vibe, fresh ingredients, and well prepared food. You can't go wrong! We stopped for a quick couple of tacos for lunch and this place didn't disappoint. Our order was ready really fast, I don't think we even waited a full 10 mins. Chicken and Al pastor tacos were super flavorful. The guac was amazing. Would definitely come back.“
“The food Fresh to order and the service is amazing and from what I have seen this is one best restaurant's I have eaten before. Each time I order food from here, the staff is very quick when it come's to cooking the food, and you can see it in action when they cook food. For example, when I ordered the cheeseburger, you could hear it sizzle and see the patty get grilled. And when I order in the morning I see that all the employees prepare the meats and veggies fresh at the day. Additionally, the prices are reasonable for what you order since most of the prices for authentic mexican food are high and here the prices are reasonable and they give big portions. Also, the owners and staff are friendly and have great customer service . I would recommend this restaurant if you like fresh and hot food ready to order ? Best restaurants in mke! ??“
“Great place, amazing tacos, fast servers and cooks, great music or tv changes depending the vibe of the servers or the mix of customers, great margaritas!!!!!Parking: 4-5 spots right in front and a parking lot across the street but be wary of potholes!“
“Villa's has the best authentic Mexican food in Milwaukee hands down. You can not beat the prices here and the portions are huge there has not been a time we didn't have leftovers. The staff is super friendly as well. Definitely a 5/5“
“Came here on the recommendation of a friend for our restaurant review. I had never heard of this place or their food trucks before so I was excited to give it a try. While the inside was empty, the service was stellar and I feel they probably do a lot more carry out business than sit down inside. I got the Cubano sandwich, regular sized and it was so tasty. The bread was crispy yet soft and the ingredients, especially the Mexican sausage, was fantastic! I also tried a few tacos that had good flavor but for me a little dry so I had to hit it with the salsa they provided and whoa!! It brought a nice kick of heat to it that really elevated the taco for me. I would absolutely suggest that if you in the mood for a torta, you check out JC King's!“
“We just ate here while visiting out of town and loved the food! The table salsa was very spicy but had a great flavor. The portions were huge and our waitress was extremely friendly. If we find ourselves in Milwaukee again, we will definitely be back!“
“I decided to try out when I read the reviews and I ordered the shrimp dinner with rice and beans so far the customer service is great and comfortable. The food such as the shrimp was well cooked with full of flavor, the rice and beans seamed bland and or regular but mixed with the rest made a holy trinity with the three. Overall this restaurant made me feel comfortable, it’s affordable, lastly the food is so flavorful. Stop by and give it a try is all I can say. For a small restaurant it give what see in its name and image!“
“Stopped in for dinner for the first time and was very happy with everything! Immediately I loved the atmosphere; the chill lighting and the music ? Our server was very kind and welcoming. Food was very good! Rice and beans were flavorful, I had al pastor tacos with onions&cilantro and the meat was tasty and juicy ☺️ The corn tortillas were yummy, warm, crisp and a perfect bit chewy. My partner had a burrito and was very happy with his meal as well! We will definitely return and recommend this place to our friends! :)“
“The food was very good. It was not busy at all as we ate between 2 and 4 on a Saturday. The building itself needs work but this is what one should expect from a local business which needs to grow organically within a community and isn't just a chain with corporate funding.Parking: Back alley parking and street parking. Can be confusing and messy but is functional.“
“I love this place! First time here, and what an experience!! The salmon tacos tasted amazing, bright, and the sause added a kick! The drinks were spot on! The owner took the time to introduce himself, adding further to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere! I WILL return! Highly recommended!“
“Great food and service! Will definitely be my go to for Birria tacos or quesabirria. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area. We also enjoyed a great elote preparado and fruta from the next door vendor. The elote and fruit were delicious and they offered excellent service as well.Parking: Easily accessible and parking is ample as it’s situated in front of a commercial building with lots of parking available.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly as my daughter loved everything we bought.“
“Looking for a quick place to eat? How about a place with reasonable prices. Authentic Mexican dishes all spiced just right. I unfortunately speak no Spanish, but the employees working helped to figure out what I was asking for (a side of sauce they use on a specific dish). Everyone was so nice and I had so much food, I had lunch for the next day. The steak was very tender and juicy. The enchiladas were smothered in sauce (the way it should be). Heads up, they currently do not have alcohol but they do have Jarritos soda!“
“Our second time in the area and we had to return to the Omega for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Great local eatery with reasonable prices. They close early on a Saturday night (the kitchen shuts down at 8:30 at least what the sign said. We got there at 8:40 so no dinner), which baffles me.“
“Carry out/walk-up window service only. Very good food. A little slow on service, but very friendly staff. I had one of the best chicken burritos I've ever had. And also the mango habanero chicken wings 6(sm) or 10(LG) per order. Blows B-Dubs away! They were excellent! Well worth the wait.“
“Went to the restaurant for a second time tonight, was not at all disappointed! Receive complementary drinks upon arrival. My party was immediately seated with no reservations. The food looks beautiful and tasted even better! Our waiter was amazing, The show that he puts on when you order a steak is so cool! ? I will be back for sure. Definitely doesn’t feel like a Milwaukee experience!“
“Had a bad experience there that actually caused us to not go for a few years, but after our covid era favorite shut down we gave it another try.The food and margs are consistently better than most of the competition. The service was great the handful of times we've gone recently as well.Highly recommend this place. It's a convenient location with fantastic options. Meals are delicious and savory meat is cohesively blended with perfectly melted cheese. Yes, the chips are the best in town!Excited for the patio to be finished as the place can get a bit packed and noisy sometimes.“
“Sergio deserves a 5-star review! His exceptional service and warm personality made our dining experience truly unforgettable. Sergio greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel welcome. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the menu, helping us choose the perfect dishes. Throughout the meal, he checked in on us just the right amount, ensuring we had everything we needed. Sergio's passion for his job shines through in every interaction. He's a true asset to this restaurant, and we can't wait to come back and request his table again. Excelente servicio, Sergio! Keep up the fantastic work! But all servers are good. I have just been eating here for years. I really like Sergio.“
“El señorial is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in terms of atmosphere and service. This is a great place to sit down to have a meal with authentic artwork and ambiance that makes you feel in a classy Mexican home. The service is top notch, especially if you have the pleasure to have Diego Mata assist with your order. A great place with great people. Definitely will be coming back!“
“I've stopped there a few times. First when they opened up the truck and again this week. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and put together in a reasonable time. Parking is easy as you can park behind there vehicle or park in the YMCA parking lot!“
“I wish I had gone here with a big group so I could try more than just a few rolls—especially since it was my first time here. I came across Sabor Culichi on instagram and was really curious about their food so I gave it a shot.I know it’s a sushi spot primarily but their tacos were great. The fried shrimp was perfectly cooked and not rubbery whatsoever. The sauce and other toppings were balanced just right that nothing overwhelmed each other.I thought the sushi that I ordered was just okay, but I tried what my friend had and thought it was much better. They had a lot of options on the menu that I wanted to try so it was just a bad choice for me, but I would definitely go back again and try some of the other items I was eyeing on the menu.I forgot the name of what I ordered but it was a lot of rice and not much inside, and the only flavor I got from inside was the bacon which was too overpowering. The service was really great. The guy that took my order was friendly and genuinely appreciative of us being there and checking them out. He gave me a business card and was happy to answer any questions I had about their food truck. Service like that makes all the difference.Something I’d like to see would be some wasabi and pickled ginger like other sushi places. Or maybe a twist on it to compliment the Mexican fusion. Maybe wasabi and avocado? Or a spicy crema to pour over your sushi. It’s hard to make a definitive decision on just one sushi roll, so I’ll definitely be back to try what else they have!“
“We stopped in while passing just to try something new. 11:20am we ordered breakfast. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito no onion and add bacon. It wasn’t the best ever but was very good! Wife ordered La Costena Omelette no Onion which was also Very good! We will come back and try other items.Ask for the Salsa Verde“
“I tried El Tlaxcalteca Mexican Restaurant for the first time today after searching for a local Mexican restaurant with authentic food and really good flavor. Omg! It did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is really small, only a few tables, but we were able to get a seat. The complimentary chips and salsa was delicious. The salsa had such good flavor and had diced up roasted jalepenos but it wasn’t spicy. They also provide 2 additional salsas in squeeze containers. An avacado jalepeno crema-like one and a chipotle flavored one. The crema one was amazing. I wanted to bring it home with me. We ordered the Birria pizza and the #3 Birria quesadilla. The Birria quesadilla wasn’t your typical quesadilla … it was better!! The corn tortillas were fried and super crunchy. The pizza was amazing. I was afraid it would be bready or just too rich… but it wasn’t it was perfect. I can’t wait to go back!!“
“Margaritas were good. Server wasn't very attentive but the Bartender was great and checked on us several times in her absence. Rice and Beans came out cold. Proteins in the fajitas had great flavor but veggies were over cooked and burnt.“
“My girl and I came out to Bel Air Cantina to get some Margs, beers and tacos. We had amazing service from Bree W. Our queso was taking a little long. She noticed and spoke up about it right away. Gave us queso on the house. (Def did not have to do that) but we appreciated it. We got our food shortly after that. My fiancée ordered a carne asada with no cilantro. It did come out with cilantro but we loved that she owned up to it and said she wrote it down wrong. I love cilantro so she let me keep the taco. I feel like she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our visit. Always filling our chips and water. Definitely will be back because of her. We were sad there was only two $2 dollar tacos on the menu though….“
“Recently discovered this restaurant. It is absolutely delicious—generous portions, more than fair prices. I must say, out of all the Mexican restaurants I've visited, this is the best! Don't know how you do it, but keep it up. Will be back often!“
