“Came in a couple weekends ago with my son. The food was amazing. We both got the pull tab burgers and cheese curds, and would return to eat here again. Unfortunately, the service during our visit was poor. When we arrived, it was not full/busy, but it got busy shortly after we arrived. Despite sitting front and center at a hightop table, we received our sodas and then were ignored for about 20 mins. I asked twice, 2 different waitresses, in that time period to order. Both waitresses walked by us multiple times, and helped other/larger tables that arrived after us, first instead of us. I finally asked what looked like a manager if he could help me, and he didn't, but he got a 3rd waitress to help. My son and I intended to dine in, and also ordered 1 addtl order to-go. The kitchen brought all 3 orders out in stryofoam in a plastic bag, so my son and I ate from to-go containers at the table. Despite the fact that the service was annoying, I'd try again since the food was so good. Maybe it was an off day?“

“Just had my son's wedding reception here and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff was so accommodating, very friendly, and oh so helpful. The guest also commented on the friendly service and the beautiful venue site. Thank you to the coordinator Sydney and the bartender (her name slips my mind at the moment), and Nancy. Ordered the Nashville Chicken sandwich which was absolutely delicious and hit the spot, the seasonings were spot on and it was fried perfectly. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and fries and hers looked delicious too! Shoutout to Chef Jacob and waiter Cody. I asked Cody to pick a surprise side with my chicken and hers picked the cornbread (Yum!). You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu-it’s all mouth watering and generous portions! I just wish they offered roasted Brussel sprouts! We’ll be back soon!“

“Visited Madison for homecoming weekend and wanted to say I was so impressed with this new bar in town! I wanted to gather a potentially large group of women I went to college with and the owner ( also a Badger alum ) was more than accommodating and communicative! They have a large space upstairs to host up to 300 people! They appear to have a full calendar of fun events - and we saw they had karaoke one night as well !!! I will definitely keep them in mind for the future! Love Moon Bar !“

First they have Guinness on tap they have harp on tap they have some incredible drink selections but let's go away from there and go to the food I only had the basically the fish and chips the batter was incredibly light it was not greasy it didn't detract in a fish the fish inside was amazing the chips were great decent french fries fresh as opposed to cook for 2 hours before the coleslaw was superb they've been a two slices of rye bread with it the rest of the menu looked very good it had sandwiches anywhere from 12:00 to $19 main meals anywhere from 22 to 42 or higher market price steak whatever that means in English and the appetizers look amazing so I'd recommend it if you're going to be in a first class hotel in Madison Wisconsin which isn't going to happen to everyone and barely happen to me I recommend this place it's got aesthetics and Keith and they do wear masks“

The staff were incredibly helpful in organizing the night over one year out and made it perfect and intimate in their upstairs private space for the evening. Food, drink and atmosphere was amazing, couldn’t recommend more!“
