A very pleasing experience from start to finish! 🙌🏽 I drove in from Illinois to meet up with family and had no idea where to eat, park, or even use the restroom. After finding a paid parking garage and exploring the area (which is definitely up-and-coming and full of potential), I turned a corner and spotted La Chinampa.
A quick Google search showed strong ratings, so I took a chance—and I’m so glad I did!
I walked in hoping for three things: a clean restroom, quick service, and good food.
They had all three—and more. ✅✅✅
The tacos were absolutely delicious, and the space was cozy—the perfect little spot to relax after a 2.5-hour drive while waiting on my family. What really stood out was the warm and friendly energy of the owner. You can feel the heart in this place.
La Chinampa took care of me, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. 💯🌮❤️

“Super Taco is owned by my former employee Lupe . She worked so hard for us now she has her own restaurant! The tacos are amazing! And even has burgers and Philly cheese steaks! Highly recommend for some tasty and very affordable food!“

“A new friend recommended this place to us. We are so glad she did. It was so much more than a place to eat. It was a beautiful escape into another culture. The inside is a small mama/papa restaurant. As a survival from covid they extended their services to the back patio. As we walked between the close buildings we were transferred from a busy city street of Milwaukee to Mexico. Spacious, festive. On one side is a slushie bar. The rest is several spread apart tables mostly in shade naturally or by umbrellas. Peaceful little trees,plants, bird chirping, music to tap foot to, colorful flags above you. The menu has many options but not too long . I selected ensalada de pollo... A fresh chicken salad.... Delicious. Perfect summer day plate. A little shredded lettuce, grilled chicken, avocado,sourcream, tomato and cucumber. Plus, my favorite.... mushroom.
We truly forgot we were on a busy city block in Milwaukee.“

“The food is awesome. Best chips and salsa ever. However the high school employees, particularly the girls, like to stand around and chit chat amongst themselves way too much. I overheard them making fun and mocking certain patrons. The older employees were great. Again food is wonderful.“

“Great tasting food you can find at the 3rd St. Market food hall in MKE, we had a few dishes and came back again while visiting the area. Definitely recommend if you’re lookig for flavorful dishes. Shrimp tacos are loaded and the Burrito is a must if you’re of big appetite. Can’t go wrong with the Milanesa tortas either!“

“Went to Hector’s after the Home Show we used to go here often back in the early 2000s and thought we would try it for old times sake Boy it’s even better than we remember!! The margaritas are great and the food is realllly good Tracie had the carny acasda tacos and I had the Salmon with butter garlic tequila caper sauce It was FN spectacular!! We went here for the 1st time in about 1990 and we so impressed that it still rocks like we remember“

“Stopped in while on a road trip and the food was amazing. Very kind service. When you walk in you sit where you want and then they take your order. The rice & beans on the taco dinner were so flavorful!
The guac was amazing, some of the best I’ve ever had. Not too lime-y or salty, perfectly blended!
The milanesa tortas were big, although it comes with a lot of sour cream which overrides the flavor a bit. Deff recommend, it’s my fave taco joints in the city!“

“Yesterday we arrived at this place at night from Las Vegas very hungry and we really liked the food, they served us very well and for there being 11 people the food didn't take long, very friendly and the portions of the food are very well served . ? I would definitely return on my next visit. The chubby girls 100% recommended.“

“OmG!! I just stumbled on a monumental reason to move from western MN to the state of WI. Specifically Fox Point. Service was amazing. Thank you Cole and unnamed seniorita. Value for our dollar was spot on. Asked BF what he wanted to say about the food and he said mmmmmmm. Mmmm. Mmmm. No time to give review must keep stuffing face. Meanwhile I ordered table side guacamole and a plain cheese quesadilla and let me tell you.... my tastebuds have not been this happy in a while. Quac was perfect. Fresh, Flavorful, and Filling. The quesadilla was grilled to a perfect crispness with matching perfect melty cheese. Sorry no photos taken the food is in my tummy. Only thing I have to complain about is location. Please open near Hutchinson, MN.“
