“Had a great lunch at Rocky's. Stopped on our way to the Brewer's game. Rocky's and the Brewer's? The day couldn't get much better. I love the Italian sausage Rocky's uses, and the crust is great. They didn't have any Motherlode slices up when we stopped in. No wonder though, it is so good it's selling out when they put them up! I look forward to Rocky's whenever we are in Wisconsin!“

“Such a cute spot with very friendly staff and AMAZING food! I love that it’s family owned them having the Safina family as the executive chef was a very cute touch lol. Family photos on the wall when you walk in is also such a cute detail.

We got the bruschetta (with Brussels sprouts which was a fun seasonal spin), pistachio pasta which was so unexpected and delicious, and the shrimp diavolo pasta which is a classic but was done very well and used the top tier bucatini.

As an Italian who lives in Chicago I know good Italian food and this is truly amazing. Definitely worth a visit, we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!“

Made with love and fresh ingredients, served by staff who care, and presentation and waitstaff well worth the price. This is not inexpensive, but for any meal with ambiance, and never disappointing, I recommend it highly. Five star everything. We cannot say enough. “Mama Mia's is Back! I was a loyal and frequent diner for decades. I just had to have the signature garlic bread and delicious delicate crisp crust pizza, but the original Mama Mia family sold the business several years ago, and the food and service went into steady decline. It seems like the recipes were the same, but the execution was lacking. The bread was oftern served re-heated or stale tasting and the pizza was seldom done right. I don't know who is running the business now, but we gave it a try and ordered carry-out. The meal was fabulous! I hope they keep it going.“

Being a foodie, I had asked for recommendations in some of my foodie groups. I heard the meatball appetizer was a must have. It wasn’t on the menu for some reason, and I’m glad I asked as Frank, our awesome bartender/server who is in the family didn’t realize it wasn’t. I have zero idea how you get meatballs light, fluffy, not dense, but these were them. And the sauce! Beyond fresh, light, and delicious. Eggplant Parmesan fries were also super light and served with the same delicious sauce. And then the pasta… Capellini alla Caprese (which was Frank’s recommendation). From their menu: “Handmade angel hair pasta tossed with sweet Roma tomatoes, genuine Prosciutto di Parma ham and an Italian soffritto (olive oil, onion and garlic), finished in a light chardonnay-cream sauce and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.” This was also super clean, light, and just delectable. The bruschetta appetizer we did not order, but the people next to us did, and I asked to take a pic. It looked amazing, and the girls eating it absolutely raved. The tiramisu - not much to say other than chefs kiss! I literally want to go back and try everything on their menu. This was for sure one of my favorite new (to me) places and I will be back for sure! Also a shoutout to the other bartender Shea… she was an absolute gem. All of the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Love places like this!“

“Pizza was decent but average in the sense that it definitely wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t amazing or anything. I thought it was a twinge salty and could’ve used just a little more flavor, the owner was really nice though.

There didn’t appear to be any kind of eating area so don’t expect that.

This place isn’t bad, I recommend checking it out if you’re at the nearby beach and hankering for some pizza.“

“The food was wonderful. In our party of 4 we had a pizza, the super Sugo, and a pasta dish. All were outstanding. The waitstaff was kind and helpful and the atmosphere was good. The only downside was the time. The place was about half full, yet it took 2 hours to get in our order, get served, and finish. A bit long I think.“

Our neighbors at the bar counter ordered the CHEESIEST pizza that I’ve ever seen in my entire life (I’ve seen a lot of pizza) from you guys and we HAD to go next door and get some of our own. The small town vibes of this pizza place are wonderful. It’s so cute, authentic, DELICIOUS, and worth every penny. Thank you Lalli’s for your service. “Alioto’s was my Dad’s favorite restaurant when I grew up and we went there often, certainly most Fridays. It was always excellent. When my Dad died, we had his funeral lunch there and it was well organized and great. We continue to go back often. We just went with my extended family (30 people) for a fish fry on Good Friday. They treated us with excellence, great service, awesome fish fry, tartar sauce and Cole slaw were excellent. Great Italian bread. And outstanding Old Fashioneds. Is it a 5 star restaurant? Of course not. It is what it is. An icon for simple dining and wonderful fish fries in Milwaukee. I have been enjoying this restaurant for over 40 years. Many fish fries, events and funeral lunches. Simply a well run place that has special meaning to me and my family.“

“We got our 1st pizza from Cataro’s Pizza last night at 11:15pm after seeing the band Without Annette at Da Bar nearby. We were hungry so we searched pizza open late near me. That’s how we found this amazing pizza. The owner had closed the dining room early because business has been so slow but he offered to make us one to go. It was so good! I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We have never had a disappointment at ZA. Everything we have tried is delicious. Today we enjoyed a brussel sprouts appetizer topped with hot honey glaze and goat cheese, beet salad, lemony chicken picatta and tiramisu. Delizioso!
