A very pleasing experience from start to finish! 🙌🏽 I drove in from Illinois to meet up with family and had no idea where to eat, park, or even use the restroom. After finding a paid parking garage and exploring the area (which is definitely up-and-coming and full of potential), I turned a corner and spotted La Chinampa.
A quick Google search showed strong ratings, so I took a chance—and I’m so glad I did!
I walked in hoping for three things: a clean restroom, quick service, and good food.
They had all three—and more. ✅✅✅
The tacos were absolutely delicious, and the space was cozy—the perfect little spot to relax after a 2.5-hour drive while waiting on my family. What really stood out was the warm and friendly energy of the owner. You can feel the heart in this place.
La Chinampa took care of me, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. 💯🌮❤️

“We were in the area and Googled Mexican restaurants and this place had a good rating, so we decided to try it out. It happened to be a Tuesday and they had a $2 taco Tuesday special. My fiancé and I each got 3 tacos and a margarita. She could only eat 2, they were that big. They were probably the best tacos we ever had, and the margaritas were just as good. Staff was extremely friendly and service was excellent. We'll definitely be going back!“

“Wow, it was the first time that my family and I went to this place and we were all really amazed by this exquisite Mexican food and the waiter, a young man who served us really very kind and attentive, I recommend it and I will go more often, he takes me as 40 minutes to get there but it's worth it; Thank you for that little piece of our beloved Mexico, it is a very familiar atmosphere, may God always bless those hands that cook and that place of peace.????

“Huge shout out to Casa Tequila in West Bend for my experience tonight. My 2.5 year old son had a puking incident there and the staff were all so kind. Our waitress, other waiters/waitresses in our area, and the woman who came over to help clean things up were so wonderful and also so nice to my son. No one looked disgusted or irritated. It was just amazing. The service is always great there, and same with the food. Thank you Casa Tequila West Bend, I will never forget your kindness in a stressful situation.“

“Took my mother here for dinner. She had the Coctel de Camaron (garlic shrimp) and my server Nayrel R. recommend the Quesa Birria tacos. Food was very good, but the service was off the charts. Nayrel did a top notch job. She check on us just right and her personality was what pushed it over the edge. Will absolutely be back.“

“This seems like a fun little place. Ordered to go. Beef Tacos, Quesadilla, and two different kinds of nachos, bean dip with chips. All was packed neatly and looked good (see pics). All the food was excellent. The chips were warm and fresh though not very salty, which made them excellent when you put toppings with them. Keep in mind that nachos will get soggy quickly in a container.“
